Big Priest - Better w/o Barnes!

Hello All!  I know people hate Big Priest, but it's fun to play when nothing else seems to be working.  I'm 19-8 at ranks 8-5 right now.  I did tweak it a little since I started keeping track.  I think most of you know how Big Priest works, and yeah I think it's better w/o Barnes.  I may try out a Zilliax to help against aggro.

I realize Colossus of the Moon is an odd choice, but it's been performing well so far.  I did switch it out for Kel'Thuzad for a few games.  Zilliax could be the best option of the three.  Still testing.....

And I accidentally cut a Shadow Visions, but the deck has been fine w/o it.  I may add it back in for a Greater Healing Potion, Excavated Evil. or Shadow Word: Horror.

Some Card Explanations:

Forbidden Words - Great against aggro.  Very versatile card, but sometimes Shadow Word: Pain is better.  So I like to run one of each.

Resurrect, Eternal Servitude, Shadow Essence and Lesser Diamond Spellstone - The core cards for Big Priest which prob make the deck a little broken.  They just keep bringing back the hits for you!

Shadow Visions - Great early game to help find the spell you need.  Prob should run two.

Spirit Lash - A must against aggro.  Def run two of these.

Shadow Word: Death - Remove that one big threat on the board.  I think one of these is perfect.

Archmage Vargoth - The new Barnes, right?  And, it's better.  Much better.  Keep this always.

Greater Healing Potion - Prob not necessary, but I have found it useful against some aggro decks.  Sometimes it just delays your dying a turn.  I may cut this one.

Shadow Word: Horror - Again, prob not necessary but better than Greater Healing Potion.  At times this card feels great against aggro.

Excavated Evil - I really like having one of these around.  The fact that it puts a "practically useless" card in your opponents deck is great.  Now it's not really useless, but it doesn't do much against us.  It can clear aggro boards, and if I'm playing against a reno deck, you can try to use Shadow Visions to put two of these in your opponent's deck. 

Mass Hysteria - Soooo key.  This card may be the reason Big Priest is so good.  Def run two of these.  They'll save your ass.

Psychic Scream - Key board removal.  Great against aggro when they fill up the board with many small minions.  Also, it "nullifies" active Deathrattles.

Shadowreaper Anduin - I put this in recently, but so far I like it.  It gives you a little burst in the end in case you run out of big boys. 

Obsidian Statue - I like running two of these to help survive against aggro if you get to cheat one out early. 

Ragnaros the Firelord - I know this isn't a popular choice in the current meta, but he's been doing fine for me.  Such a fun card, imo.

The Lich King - I used to not like this because of some of the crappy Death Knight cards that will clog up your large hand.  But I'm convinced this card belongs in the deck.  The 8/8 taunt doesn't hurt.

Colossus of the Moon - On the other hand, this one I'm just trying out.  It can be hard for some decks to remove.

Catrina Muerte and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound - Key Big Priest components imo. 

Cards Left Out:

Convincing Infiltrator - I don't think this card helps you win games.  Sure, it can stop aggro, but you have enough anti-aggro tools and you don't want to keep resurrecting a 2/6, right?

Mass Resurrection - Look, you can run the card if you want.  I'm sure plenty of good players have hit legend with a similar deck using this card.  I just think it's overpriced at 9 mana, the Spellstones are usually just as good, and it really sucks to have it stuck in your hand in the early game. 

Zilliax - As I've mentioned above, I may replace Greater Healing Potion or Colossus of the Moon with Zilliax if I start to struggle with the deck.

Lightbomb - It's a decent card, but it can be situational.  Mass Hysteria has performed better for me.  I don't think we need Lightbomb plus two Mass Hysterias. 

Kel'Thuzad - So yeah, I tried this out for a few games but I really think Colossus of the Moon is better.  It can be a very "sticky" card.

I played a few more games after my first draft here.  I'm currently 24-10 at rank 6 using this list.  That's all for now!
