Combo's dead

After the rotation hits, combo will be pretty much dead. We already had Mojomaster Zihi from RR, but RoS has gone way farther and brought us Hecklebot, Unseen Saboteur and Duel!. That way you can play up to 5 disruptor cards in your decks (7 if you're playing paladin) which target mana gain, minions and spells. And we haven't even seen half of RoS yet.
Edit: plus Demonic Project for warlock.
I strongly feel like there probably won't be a T1 combo deck around for quite some time.

I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

Yep, after the rotation combo will have a really hard life with all those tech cards. Maybe they could have spread them a bit more instead of pushing all in the same expansion set.
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?"
I think there will be at least 1 or 2 combo decks in meta but I agree, techs are quite powerful.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Well, maybe it should. After Mill, thats the archetype(s?) that I hate the most.
Coming from a heavy combo/OTK player myself, I'm actually glad combo isn't super popular right now. It is healthy for different playstyles to take turns controlling the meta. If one playstyle rules for too long then extra heavy nerfs/deck killing usually follows.
This is honestly probably a good thing. Remember just a few months ago, before rotation, when everyone was complaining about the lack of anti-combo cards? Remember everyone wishing for a classic dirty rat? It's kind of nice to have a lack of combo for once, because believe me, it's only a matter of time before it becomes the best deck again. (And then there will be threads stating the opposite)
And don't get me wrong, I don't hate combo, hell I got my golden druid from the boomsday meta, but even I think that it's a good thing.
That's true, I'm very thankful for the current state of the game. The year of the dragon really feels great so far, very diverse meta and no overlords as of now. Plus there are still a few working combo decks left (I use Jepetto Hunter from time to time), they're just not that consistent and that's fine for me, too.
