It's called a 'Beastmaster' and it has Deathrattle synergy, checking off two Hunter boxes and no Demon Hunter boxes. Idk, I wouldn't be surprised if they announce it was meant to be Hunter at some point down the line.

So far it cheats out only Renowned Performer which is meh

You have to hold the other card so it does not make the card op BUT it can be a 7 mana worth card for 3, thats strong in the right archetype deck.

No idea what how this will turn out, but it's kind of strange to print a card that pulls the thing you'd want to play on curve out of your hand. Then again, maybe there's just gonna be some crazy deathrattle synergies that make this playable

Cheating out a 4 mana minion is great, but as mentioned, there are not much deathrattle minions for DH that comes to mind. We'll definitely see some supporting deathrattle cards for DH.

Looks interesting but until we see more of the Barrens set we won't really know what it can pull.

Wrong class? Priest had one similar in the past, never see play. Dh maybe will do a better use of it.

I don't know what to think of this card. It doesn't feel like a demon hunter card at all. It has deathrattle synergy and it also wants you to hold cards in your hand when usually demon hunters have been about playing lots of cards as fast as possible. It does feel a little slow as it has sub-par vanilla stats, doesn't do anything until it dies, and also requires another card in your hand to even work.

Deathrattle Demon Hunter will obviously be getting more support, so it is hard to tell how good this card is as of yet. But so far it looks pretty average.

I also agree with BloodMefist, this looks like a hunter card and should be in hunter.

Wrong "Hunter" class? Seems like this doesn't make much sense in Demon Hunter, where there are very few good, cheap deathrattles today. Maybe they'll change that in this set, but this card just seems pretty bad.

Does Hunter even want this? DH doesn't. Anti-synergy with Teron Gorefiend (I know it's a neutral legendary so not a huge chance to pull it, but it's there, a deathrattle decks runs him, and it would feel awful). Nope. 

Extremely off-base, both thematically and mechanically.

Seems like Team 5 has already run out of DH ideas, so they're just stealing from the Hunter file.

Needs a lot of support to be a viable archetype but here's to deathrattle dh I guess.

Not realy. The 3/3 isn’t worth 3 mana and pulling consistently a 4 mana deathrattle will be tough. Also pulling something from your hand is basically anti-carddraw so I would subtract at least one mor mana point on that. 

Absolutely no DH flavor to be found here wich is sad since there are many roads that DH can explore further

If ever there's a card that needs support its this one. Its just so weak looking its just sad. And since this doesn't even trigger the deathrattle, what exactly is it that we're hoping for this card?

My only hope is that there's some crazy card that's not very good because of the battlecry but has an insane deathrattle to justify this card's existence. Until then, this is hot trash on a cold day.

The flavour here is a big miss, this definitely feels like a Hunter card not a Demon Hunter card. But that aside, the card itself is alright but idk if DH cares enough about deathrattles to want it

This card is very weird. It's good mana cheat, but it doesn't fit Demon Hunter at all either thematically or mechanically. What do you even want to cheat out? So weird.

DH doesn't have too many good deathratttles in standard to really want to add this to a deck but might be more fun in wild.

I am not that upset at the fact that this seems to not be a demon hunter card. That hero is fairly new so evolution is inevitable.

I'm not too impressed. Sure you can cheat some mana...but right now DH don't have a lot of deathrattle cards that he want put in a deck. Also you need to pull out a 4 mana deathrattle to be good, or at least 3 mana

Need to see what low cost deathrattle minions come with this expansion to see if it's worthwhile or not.

I'm not too worried about it looking unusual for a DH card - all classes expand their toolkit by doing something they didn't before - I'm just disappointed it means DH is joining the club of deathrattle classes specifically. The 2 classes DH is closest to, namely rogue and hunter, are already deathrattle classes, while warlock is a pseudo-deathrattle class due to the self-sacrifice stuff.

So what exactly is going to be novel about it? It feels like it would be so much more worthwhile to give DH something that rogue and hunter don't do, rather than making them even more similar.

4mana: Disguised Wanderer, Fishy Flyer, Renowned Performer

3 mana: Educated Elekk, Razorfen Beastmaster

2 mana: Bloodmage Thalnos, Explosive Sheep, Loot Hoarder, Rustsworn Initiate, Sneaky Delinquent, Nerubian Egg and Showstopper

None of which you'd normally put in an DH deck...

Demon hunters already had lifesteal, card draw, weapons and silence in their class identity. Now Blizzard is adding deathrattles? What's next, divine shield and overload?

It doesn't seem awful, it just doesn't fit into any existing archetypes right now

I'm sure someday this will be great! But we'll need to wait and see if such a day comes.

This is okay, I'm not sure if DH has any really good deathrattle minions that cost 4 or less, but if they do then this is a pretty good card.

Deathrattle DH isn't really a thing right now, so I just gave it two stars because it has potential based on what DH deathrattle cards get revealed.

This feels like it's in the wrong class, but if not, I hope to see a lot more deathrattles in the coming cards.

Might this be a harbinger of a new DH style? I would love for something a little cooler to get pushed. Maybe I'm still holding onto my DH hate from launch last year, but I've not liked any of its mechanics yet.

There are some decent pulls in wild including Piloted Reaper and Spiritsinger Umbra in wild if you want an Undertaker style midrange deck.

Really hard to evaluate card like this, in a vaccuum, without seeing the real pool of Deathrattle for the next meta.
So far, very little value or use for DH of such a card, but let's keep an open mind, time will tell ..!

Wait this isn't a hunter card? Seems bizarre to have in DH - can be potentially strong with the right set of cards provided, so holding out for some decent support. 

Nothing about this being Demon Hunter makes sense. So far the only card it will summon is Renowned Performer and some neutrals that I don't think I've ever seen Demon Hunter run.

Seems weak to me. Obviously its a bit soon to say that without seeing the other cards. I do find it odd that the name suggests beast synergy might be a thing in DH.

This seems like it would be a fine inclusion in any deck that already runs a good number of 2-4 mana deathrattle minions, but I don't expect to see this played in Wild unless DH gets some really powerful deathrattle stuff.

If there are some good 4 mana deathrattle, this card will provide a huge tempo swing

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw this card. 😂 It can be a 4 star card in hunter, but in DH, it's easily a 2 star card

I really doubt the right amount of deathrattle support cards will be there to make this viable

we should expect some deathrattle card to evaluate this card. For the moment it's one star

If this is not played in a Deathrattle heavy deck, the effect will most likely do nothing. And I don't think there will be a DR DH archetype.

At first i thought, Pretty cool card for Hunter but then i realised its a Demon Hunter Card ... 

i guess how strong this is , is dependant on which Deathrattle cards we will get this expansion!

It feels weird to make this a Demon Hunter card, but maybe we'll see some synergising cards coming up. It seems way too slow for current DH archetypes so I can se a midrange-ish DH beign pushed. Especially with the new legendary.

Lets see what nutty deathrattles they have for DH but it feels like DH is copying Hunter's class identity too much.

Alright, interesting card. The cards that synergise well with it so far are: Baron Rivendare in order to immediatly summon something when you play it, as for minions you can summon so far: your 2nd Razorfen Beastmaster, Renowned Performer, Fishy Flyer and debatably Bloodmage Thalnos... Yeh the pool is really bad. My guess is that were going to see some more deathrattle DH cards this expansion, and otherwise this is just the setup for a deathrattle DH in one of the expansions after FitB.

Another card I'm not quite sure how to asses since at the moment we're missing some key information about DH's interaction with Deathrattles.

On the face of it, it's a perfectly okay play on tempo if it brings out that additional early-game value.

DHunter has the draw potential to not run out of steam easily, so the chance you have no targets available seems very small. Now, regarding what can this card pull off, the results are not very good, like [Hearthstone Card (Renouned Performer) Not Found] or [Hearthstone Card (Fishy Flier) Not Found] (cards that "lose" Rush if Razorfen Beastmaster is killed on your opponent's turn), Teron Gorefiend (mediocre without the Battlecry part), Educated Elekk (kekW).

I'd argue the best target I can think of for Razorfen Beastmaster to pull is actually Sneaky Delinquent, because that card itself is hard to effectively remove, but then there's the questions of why are you playing Sneaky Delinquent in DHunter and why didn't you play it T2.

Meh to Ok card in DH. Not enough deathrattles that DH cares about. In other classes, this would be clutch. I think it could surprise us if DR synergy shows up for DH's but I bet it will just be a meh card. 

A strange Demon Hunter card; makes more sense as a Demon Hunter one. With that being said, there may be more Deathrattle synergy yet to be revealed... but for now, I'm not rating this very highly.

Not great on its own, and also makes your big payoff,  Death Speaker Blackthorn, worse by including deathrattles on weaker end. Can't see this being played in a serious deck.

This deathrattle package isn't worth it. The only Demon Hunter we will see after rotation is OTK Demon Hunter.

This is good, and it has some very good Deathrattle minions to pull into play. The weird thing about this minion is that I don't think it makes it into Death Speaker Blackthorn decks because it isn't a good pull for the 7-Drop. Could be nice in a more aggressive Deathrattle Demon Hunter list. Did someone say Egg Demon Hunter? Just me?

Strong card, hope more Deathrattle support gets added in the future!

Most of the power from deathrattle decks comes from being able to trigger deathrattles to achieve a powerful effect that's worth more than the cost of triggering the deathrattle. Now knowing all of the DH cards for this expansion, not only are there no ways for DH to trigger deathrattles, there aren't very many great choices of deathrattle minions to cheat out with Razorfen Beastmaster. I just think Deathrattle DH is doomed to fail.

Deathrattle Demon Hunter doesn't look like a real deck and until it does this card will have no chance to succeed.

There just aren't enough payoff cards to warrant running this card. It's possible this will work on quantity over quality

There are already a few good cards for this to pull, and I am sure there will only be more as the year progresses.

A good effect, but the deck just isn't coming together. This feels like another DOA archetype like Freeze Shaman.

I was really excited when I first saw this, thinking that this was a battlecry. When I actually read the card text and saw that its effect is a deathrattle I was rather disappointed. It's slow, but potentially powerful, especially in the right deck.

The first thing I want to do when the expansion drops is try this out in wild with Spiritsinger Umbra.
