I think it´s Doom Pact reincarnation with some condition. I think is best used against big minions than weak ones.
This is a bit difficult to evaluate.
On one hand a 4-mana Dargonfire Potion is absurdly good for any control deck. This basically allows you to shut down any minion based deck early on.
Self-milling on the other hand is pretty terrible and should be avoided if possible. Sure, there's the option to just use this and not actually kill anything and then finish the board with another spell (School Spirits for instance), but that just seems like a pipe dream.
Overall this could still work simply due to the fact that Tickatus exists and more than makes up for the self mill...but if you end up discarding Tickatus you're giga-fucked.
It also disincentivizes developing anything on the board on your side, which is a pretty big downside, even for a control deck
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
We're getting loads of AoE this expansion.
Disclaimer: if the above is factually incorrect or complete rubbish it is definitely both intentional and comedy genius.
This would be great for bomb warrior meta (to bad its gone).you can use it when you have no cards left in your deck or combo it with another aoe card if they have 5+ health minions.
This style of effect is usually not very good

Downside seems way too severe for what it offers. Warlock isn't especially hurting for removal options these days and I don't think this beats out other options.
Most decks that want this kind of AoE damage effects are Control and Combo decks and you DON'T WANT to burn your deck in almost any situation. So yeah, unless new cards make your deck indestructible for a turn or watev I'm giving this 1 star.
I don't think that Warlock will use this. They have a lot of solid aoe even with the rotation and I don't think that this is enough of a boost over hellfire to justify the cost it comes with.
Without a sinergy, doesn't work
Not very interesting. It's good if it doesn't kill any minions or in a deck that needs to cycle to fatigue quickly (Mecha'thun)
That's rough, losing those cards. It's not Discard, so I don't think you can get value from the loss. This might be too much of a drawback, despite how powerful the AOE.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
OK card , but i think this will not realy see play. Alltough could work in some sort of Envoy Rustwix deck where you shuffle enough Primes etc in your deck so you do not care about the loss of a few cards.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
If this were a one-sided clear it would be nuts, but two-sided clears are only good in control decks, and the mill effect is not good in control decks, so I don't think this will see play unless somebody comes up with a combo that needs a cheap board clear after drawing the whole deck.
Not a good card in my opinion makes it hard to predict what is removed
I really don't know with this one. If you are playing a slow control deck that would really want a board clear like this, you probably also have a specific win condition that you really don't want to burn. Maybe in a Mechathun deck after you have drawn the combo.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
i don't like it, if the board is full of little minions this is going to be a huge downside on your own deck, unless you fill it with soul fragments and burn them
Any class would give a working legendary for a 4 mama flamestrike but the draw back just seems to high. A control deck would love it but not at the cost of cards and fatigue. And zoo won't want to lose the board. Good design but just too much cost to see usable play
That's a big punish to remove something(s).
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
Ouch. Downside is too big. Maybe we're gonna shuffle some bad cards to be removed? Gotta see whole set.
OBLIVION!
so you can play this on a board full of 6 health minions and you wont burn any cards. huh.
No one played Doooom, no one will play this
-=alfi=-
not a fan of destroying my own deck until there is some graveyard interactions introduced
Are we missing some cards? Seems really bad
Don't forget that Soul Fragments can be discarded with this effect, so Soul Rend can possiblly find a spot in control Warlock because of it. Also, Envoy Rustwix can help you refill your deck if you're playing into fatigue.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Mediocre, I doubt it's often worth the loss.
Maybe some control lists that wants to cycle the deck to put primes with Envoy Rustwix... But looks weak.

There is a reason no one ever plays an un-Corrupted Tickatus.
It's the same reason no one will ever play this card.
I don't think the reward justifies the drawback.
The leaked video suggested that some future cards will take advantage of destroying your cards, so while it might not seem like the most playable card right now, some extra support might change that.
Not sure about this one i think there are some better aoe options out there. Destroying your own cards is kinda awkward.
very risky AoE. Don't think it will be useful
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
I hope there's some synergy, still it's hard to play.
Pretty decent card, cards in deck don't really matter and tempo is good. However, I wonder if control warlock actually needs it if Cascading Disaster exists.
The card is strong. Obviously you want play this in a combo deck, but the downside isn't that terrible. In a game where you don't end in fatigue, the lost of some card is irrelevant...just like those card are on the botton of the deck. Sure, if you destroy strong cards of your deck is unlucky but that will not happen all the time. Of course don't kill 14 minion with this card XD
If it only dealt damage to enemy minions, I think it could see play. But since it also wipes your own board (and burns extra cards because of it), I don't think it'll make the cut.
The downside is too significant. Maybe if there's something with upside where you get rid of your deck really fast
I don't think this will see play. Nobody wants to burn their cards. They changed tracking because of it!
This is the worst card for the new expansion so far. You don't want to destrou cards from your deck especially in control decks who is the target for this kind of cards. Plus 4 manas for 5 damage is not that much for the downside, flamestrike is dealing the same for 7 manas. Plus it deal damage to our own minions. 1 star...
Murlocs <3
Terible now one gona play it even in arena
I doubt control decks are willing to burn several cards in their deck for some discounted aoe..
Felfire Potion saw some play, so maybe this can too. The two mana reduction is nice, but losing a bunch of cards from your deck could hurt pretty bad. That said, Kibler's "Prime Gaming" Warlock can load its deck up with Primes very easily, so maybe there's a case where cutting through the junk in your deck is a good thing.
Im not really keen on cards that delete your deck, and I think its too expensive for what it does once you factor in the cost and the card advantage.
Its likely only ever going to see play via discover effects, and even then I think its unlikely to ever see any use.
Pretty awful. Which archetype would run this? Control certainly not and aggro does not want to AOE all minions also. Very narrow potential for combo decks.
English is not my native language, so please excuse occasional mistakes
Yeah its harsh
I've been here a while; just hanging out in the background.
Zoo would even have a hard time with this. Granted it's 5 damage to every minion that stands in your way, it is also going to nix your side of the board as well. This may be good IF you have Mecha'thun in hand and a way to destroy it as well.
hmmmm, warlock has so many good removals, can't think of why any deck would include this one, unless there's some mechanic that let you profit from burning your own cards in the deck. Something like, deal 2 damage to your opponent per card destroyed in your deck.
Downside is very big, warlock has a lot of other pretty good ways to get rid of big board and against smaller boards it is already outclassed by Grimoire of Sacrifice. It is also a four cost card so it conflicts with the new Kazakus card.
Ribbit
Do not think warlock is looking for this right now... Might go well in the future...
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
It's a powerful AoE, but damn, that downside. Maybe there'll be some synergy to make it less punishing.
I think it's a more controlled Doom Pact, good potential card, 4/5
4 Mana 7/7
If it was destroy a card in hand it would be ok as you can kinda control what gets removed, but the removal of random cards in your deck seems risky.

The flavor text should read : '' I once cleared a full board '' .. and what did it costed you ? ''Half my deck''
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Unless situation arises that you benefit from destroying your deck, this card looks so bad.
The effect seems odd, board clear usually benefit control decks but control decks want value but you are destroying value with the effect. On the other side, destroying your deck doesn't matter much for aggro, but aggro has no need for board clears that destroy your own minions.
I think the downside is too high. Best use I can think for it is to stabilize the board on Turn 4-5 against an aggro/flood deck, but do you want to destroy 4-7 (probably valuable) cards as a slower deck? I know, I know, if the aggro deck doesn't win by a certain point, you win and those cards might as well have been at the bottom of your deck, never to be drawn because the game ends before they can be.
Eh, probably not. Board clear is something that only Midrange or Control decks would want, and the downside of destroying cards in your deck seems more like it would be on an Aggro card. It results in this card going two different directions at once.
I really don't understand the card. It's bad in control since you don't want to destroy cards from your decks and bad for aggro because it is too slow.
This card is just bad. Unless there's some new win condition where you need to mill your deck, there's just better options out there that are not so detrimental to your cards. It's one of those yolo cards we'll prob see in Trolden videos
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
why i would tickatus my own deck?
Haha very good card now they can destroy their own deck.
Let's hope they wont get some card or spell to get those lost ones back
I'm not online it's just your imagination
Will never see play
There's potential, but ultimately giving up cards from your deck is too much to ask. Especially given that this card can only ever fit into a late game handlock style deck.
Had it cost less it might be good enough for a board swing, but its really just bad most of the time. I can't see why anyone would play this over Cascading Disaster anyway.
Mmmm... Mmmm... Mmmm... Nope.
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Actually a very strong card. There are plenty of Soul Fragments in warlock, so there is a smaller chance to mill something you actually want/need. However, i feel like were going to see some kind of pay-off card for milling your own cards/discarding your cards with all the synergy we have seen so far. (Tiny Knight of Evil and Lakkari Felhound being in the core set, just as some examples.)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Very bad, unless there is some more synergy coming
The downside is hurting a lot..
Wow!
Seems like an interesting card, Warlock is fully embracing burning cards. I burn your cards, I burn my cards, everybody goes to fatigue!
Downside is huge, but maybe we'll get to a point where warlock wants this downside and just fills its deck full of primes?
It's good, but Warlock might have access to better board clears I feel like. The downside doesn't feel that huge in Warlock though, as you can fill your deck with Soul Fragment to discard.
Only way to counter Tickatus: do it yourself Kappa
Good for big one creature, bad for board clear. I think this is meh at best.
I'm not sure what this is supposed to go along with. If it was discard from hand, I could see where it fits in, but removing from deck seems harsh. Is it supposed to counter some version of corrupted bloods or bombs that is coming in the new set?
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Seems expensive for that big a downside. unless there are deathrattles that make it worthwhile, I doubt it sees much play.
This got a payoff card now. But destroying more than 4 cards of your deck doesn't seem worth it.
I don´t like this card at all, you can really discard some of your key cards, not worth it.
♡ u 4ever 2008 - 2022
Real interesting. Since it hits all minions you have to manipulate your minions so they don't die to this so you don't loose extra cards but with cards like the one that wants your deck to be thinned out maybe you want to loose that extra card.
Awesome design, I love this.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
Can't see any synergies, this card looks just awful...
Destroy? Not remove? New keyword?
Great AoE, if Warlock get some tools to negate the downside this could be really strong. But they could very well be in a spot when it's "Use this or die!" at T4-5 vs faster decks, so don't count this one out.
The downside is really punishing, so unless there is another payback card released I do not see this getting played.
This kind of cost is probably too much for this card to be good. Hopefully thei print a better pay of card than the 3/3 lifesteal one
arguably worse than hellfire, unless the no-deck warlock becomes a thing
At this point I have spent too much money on these games to quit.
Now pass me another pack, and lets see what I pull.
While Soul Rend is a great anti-aggro tool, I'm not sure Warlocks will be happy about losing cards that are either: win conditions against slower decks or more removal tools they need for aggressive matchups. I get that Blood Shard Bristleback was printed to take advantage of having a a low amount of cards in your deck, but you can also lose Bristleback by playing Soul Rend. Overall, I think Warlocks already approach a small deck size already with Life Tap and card draw like Free Admission, that they don't need Soul Rend to reach fatigue quickly. Warlocks also aren't desperate for the removal as they already have multiple AoE cards that cost four or less and don't require nuking your own deck.
For glory, honor, and gold!
yeah... im not a huge warlock player because of cards like this. im sure it would work great for zoo decks but its tough to stomach
Really bad... because control decks can't have their removal cards burned
Terrible card.
Very bad, even with the new synergy card, unless there's some more huge payoffs to having a small deck the "destroy your deck" warlock will never materialize.
If in reality it's Discard rather than Destroy, this could be great. However, you better hoard all the cards you can before turn 4 or delay playing this.
good card
Kenny's little poet. 😇
Are we going to see lock minions that come on board after being milled?
For The HORDE!
The most boring card this expansion.
Seems like the kind of card that looks like complete trash, but ends up surprisingly great - in a specific meta scenario. And since WL doesn't lack aoe so much, this won't work well.
Worst card in the expansion and maybe in the top 10 worst class cards of all time.
You play this you lose the game period. Not many awful cards can have such a huge negative impact.
And the payoff is Blood Shard Bristleback, IF you didn't destroy it, lol. And Chef Nomi is rotating out.
Maybe there is a card yet to be revealed with some clever design that makes sense for Soul Rend but so far this card is worthless.
Boardclear for control decks if they only face aggro. It still won't feel great playing it I feel....
That's... terrible? Or it's just me who thinks that?
Still not sold on this archetype but could be cool if it works.
I think this is hard to use and warlock has better board control effects
Obvious inclusion in Fatiguelock. I wonder what the ideal amount of cards is that you want to destroy from your deck. Is that as many as possible such that you can profit from a (near) empty deck earlier or do you want to take it slower? We'll have to wait and see.
Arena > Wild > Standard
good
Tosslock will not be good, for the main reason that there is not a way to protect the cards that pay off your Tossing through your deck while you are tossing through your deck. I don't think this card will see play in any other decks, and Tosslock will never actually be good enough because the entire point is counterintuitive to winning games.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
In hand would be fine, in deck its kinda bad.
Seems pretty good honestly. Even the mill disadvantage is balanced by Tickatus.
~ An expertly disguised dinosaur
Discard warlock says Hello! to new HS meta :)
This card makes sense considering Neeru Fireblade is a good win condition, but that's the only deck where this won't massively screw over the person playing it
Efficient board clear, with a risky downside.
Cool card for a very specific deck
Good Board Clear on Fatigue Warlock
Synergizes with deck destruction archetype. Not sure if that's good though.
powerful removal, but the punishment is too severe
A great board clear... but thinning your deck seems antithetical to a Control game plan. Might be worth it against extreme aggro, since that's better than taking face damage.
Welcome to the site!
Helps burn through your deck faster, which lets you get crazy effects. And it burns minions too. Seems good.
The first thing that comes to mind when I see this is Doom Pact. The only thing that I really remember about that cars is that I usually wanted The Lich King to give me something else. It's great removal, and it may find a home in some control warlock deck, but it definitely comes at a steep cost. Warlock already has a lot of board clears. Adding one more at this point isn't really going to change much.
