Mecha'thun approves
Pretty powerful with minions who cost more for their deathrattles than stats, but more of those need to be printed

Useless piece of shit, because of no Charge.
Could turn into some OTK deck with Mecha'thun and Myra's Unstable Element + any card to kill off the 1/1.
Other than that, I don't think there's enough powerful deathrattles to really make something work as it is now.

Could someone name me a good card to run with this other than Mecha'thun? This card seems like a really combo-specific thing, and not to mention the inconsistency
Edit: And everyone, stop saying that Myra Rotspring and SN1P-SN4P work with it. Obviously Myra is a battlecry minion, and the effect doesn't apply to the echo of the latter

Oh yeah, these Forum Signatures are a thing.
Can see some shenanigans piling up. Magic Carpet may become a staple in Rogues because they already have Lackey generation and now having all these 1 mana Deathrattle minions can be quite powerful with the carpet. 4/5

Agreed, this is one of those cards that will have a purpose, whether that's right now or not until later in future sets.

That is true. I hope Rogue gets more deathrattle support in the future. Deathrattle rogue has never gained a good staple place in the meta, even the Big Deathrattle Rogue with Silver Vanguard in Wild doesn't make it to the meta list now. :( As for the card, I absolutely agree that it has potential.

Strong card. Rogue has decent deathrattle stuff going on with the weapon/vial, this, and some random generators. just need some quality neutral/rogue deathrattles to put in the deck. the mech that makes a poison dude is nice but we need something proactive like the dino egg.
This just opened up a whole new area of Deathrattle-Rogue ; Tempo, potential and shenanigans.

Dane's big rogue will love this. Sneed's, Vanguard, Sylv, Illusionist all get big tempo swings from this.
I'm sure it could use some refinement, but looks fun to me!
Remember ppl that Necrium Vial is still in standard. Turn 5 legendary, turn 6 any powerful deathrattle with necrium - whelp, cairne or even festeroot.

wow, another way to Hakkar, the Soulflayer which is one of my favorite Rogue decks.
+ you can fill your decks with Togwaggle's Scheme better than only Academic Espionage in RR times.
And it gives some more tempo than older version. Liked it.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
You'd have to test that. Cards with "deathrattle: shuffle this into your deck" have odd and inconsistent interactions with double deathrattle triggers, presumably the same holds true for putting it back into your hand. I can easily imagine it only triggering once b/c there's only one card to put back into hand, or 2 scarabs 1 anub.
But even if we assume you get two Anub'araks back in hand, they'd be full cost so you'd probably never find the time to get them both into play.
Another Anka, the Buried maybe ? I'd like to use Shadowstep on Anka to decrease other deathrattles as well. Infinite nerubian loop. lol.
Well I don't think it gives 2 Anub'araks to your hand. When you double Youthful Brewmaster's battlecry, it gives only one. So "Return" can't be doubled in hearthstone in my experience. Also it would be awkward if it does because first one returns and there is nothing to return to your hand.
I need to build a infinite nerubian loop deck. That will be an awesome themed deck. might not work but sounds fun. :D

problem is if the meta doesn’t slow down or rogue doesn’t get some survival tools then idk about it in standard plus the standard deathrattles aren’t many that are great

As someone who relies on Spirit of the Shark + Galvanizer to make Mecha'thun Rogue work, this is a blessing.
Also can't wait to try Hakkar, the Soulflayer in another class other than Paladin or Druid

Unless we're talking about single player content when is this ever going to be a feasible plan? Come on.
If you can actually get off multiple Ankas in a game and not be dead I can imagine a million better plays than playing glorified runner-runner Nerubian Eggs. Please stop being silly.
None was talking about that this could be a T1-Deck, don't be silly. And DaneHS already proved that Big Rogue can work.
If you want to spawn 4/4 nerubian tokens from deathrattle minions you can just play Nerubian Egg and the necrium cards. There's no reason to play Anub'Arak because even with the extreme mana cost discount from Anka his deathrattle is severely underwhelming. Find me a big rogue list that runs Anub and I'll show you a list that should cut a card. You're doubling down to defend something that's preposterous on its face. Even in a meme deck there are better cards to include.
Well, say you use this, you get all these 1-1's with juicy deathrattles, then you put them on the bord and then...what? Hope your opponent will be so kind to kill them for you? Shiv'em all? Only decent use I see is with a Mecha'thun OTK deck.
