Pretty hard to kill, reminds me of that 2/14 divine shield taunt, but then again.....10-mana Legendary that doesn't really DO anything......
worst community ever
Pretty sweet card to get off of conjurer's calling, especially in a mage mirror. Imagine how many mountain giants this can chew through and still be conjured into something new.
Edit: I just noticed this is a legendary. What the heck? This card screams packfiller common. Why would you do this to people, Blizzard? Who on earth is going to be happy cracking one of these open? Big yikes.
It might be big and hard to kill, but it's just a boring pile of stats. Reminds me of Tyrantus in this regard.
[edit] I really hope I don't open this from a pack. The only good thing about it is that it can be summoned from Conjurer's Calling like AliRadicali said:
Very annoying to deal with since the only hard removal that would work are transform effects if you wanted to get rid of this thing for good. The only question is, “Is it good enough?” if you just play this card without cheating it out unless your opponent is in a losing position, he might go face instead and ignore it.
This should have been a common minion, there is nothing legendary about it.
And yes, this is a buff for conjurer's mage.
Big shaman laughts.
Imagine getting this on turn 5-6.
By The Holy Light!
Same sentiments. The 2/14 might actually be better because of the taunt
I guess this is the bad legendary of the set? Sure it might be a good addition to some pools like Conjurer's Calling but it's not a card you ever want to put in your deck.
So mage can now get the most annoying to kill minion ever from Conjurer's Calling on a sea giant.
big shaman also sound nice eureka this or muck murpher and you got a big dude that refuses to die you put [Hearthstone Card (ancestral healing/card] on it and it got taunt too as well as if he got reborn you restore it to full.
dies to hard removal only basically cheating this guy out is huge… maybe big priest would want this by how sticky the minion is to remove and revive constantly.
) Not Found]i'm actually worried about this card being in big priest, i feel like sticky minion like this is way too powerful in that deck
Pretty terrible if you have to cast it, but if you can cheat it out or summon it then it's pretty good since it's sticky as hell (only polymorph effects and "put into deck" effects work istantly) and also big enough to require immediate answer.
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?"
Muckmorpher on turn 4 with the coin or on turn 5 hitting this is pretty good. Could see Big Shaman replacing a copy of Big Bad Archmage to slide this is in.
Also summoning copies of this with Eureka! is also nuts
Cool card. I love the art and flavor.
Not playable on it's own but anything that allows you to cheat it out is fairly strong. Big Shaman maybe. If darkest hour and or plot twist warlock ever becomes a thing instandard then maybe it plays this.
It's a very juicy buff to conjurer mage too.
The absolute king of arena. In standard, it's a "hard removal or die" situation, and I think removal is common enough to keep this in check. Praise Control Shaman
Icehowl of SoU :) But yeah, Conjurer's Calling makes this card scary in some situations.

This card is so strong...
I can't believe they are buffing conjurers calling with this. We now need at least 3 horribly stated 10+ drops to cancel this out. Outside of transform effects, you need to contact this thing 3 time at least to kill it. Sure there are other more efficient methods like BGH, transform, and power word whatever, but I just cannot wrap my head around how this reborn mechanic is supposed to function in a healthy diverse meta without locking out half the archetypes for a majority of classes. Am I going to have to put in 4-10 tech cards in my decks to account for situations like this. I guess they have tested these decks so the meta can withstand it, but I will believe it only when I see it!
Great for Big Shaman, and improves the legendary pool for last-chance cards like Rafaam and [Hearthstone Card (Prince Liam/card]. Awesome
) Not Found]Gosh dang it, cards bad.
So if I get 2 of these one my first Conjurer's Calling and the second, then there will be 3 10/10s with reborn and a 10/1 in play?
No need to worry mate.
BP only runs minions that help to win the board and stabilize the game (Ragnaros the Firelord, Obsidian Statue and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound, for example, do this incredibly well).
On the other hand, Colossus of the Moon is just a 10/10 that, despite being very sticky, doesn't do anything when summoned, not even defending your face from aggro paesants.
This card won't see play except in Conjurer Mage Kappa
Spice Lord and self-proclaimed Meme Master.
Don't remind me, please. I still haven't recovered from the trauma of opening a golden Icehowl. ;^)
I won't say it is bad, but I will be less than thrilled to open it, for sure.
Psst! Hey, you want to play a couple of fun (albeit pointless) gamebooks? Become a king here, and a babysitter here.
Talking about cheating it out, this may actually see play in big shaman. Not that it would be of any relevance ... But at least you got to do something with it when you open it
Winner winner chicken dinner
I really like the design of this card. It isn't flashy and it is really hard to kill outside of transformation spells and Plague of Death. Zillax wasn't flashy and had keywords and it is one of the most used (and probably fair) legendaries out there. This one, unfortunately, does nothing when it is played but if you can cheat this out and give it out Rush, this could be better.
Probably a 2/5 when it comes to usage but a 4/5 when it comes to being a simple design card that will be a pain in the ass if it gets cheated out however.
If Big Warrior ever becomes a thing, this might just barely make the cut. Not really a great card, but maybe it will see play in a Tier 4 deck someday?
Another way to "cheat it out" is by using galaxy spell in mage, and then conjure call it a couple of times, or clone, or....without silence/polymorph effects this guy can attack at least twice for 10 damage, and the divine shield means it has an attractive trade rate so to speak. And its nice to finally get some buff for conjurer's calling :) was way too weak without (laughs hysterically).
COLOSSUS OF DUST
This ain't no place for a hero
I don't think you run this in conj mage, I think you just hope to roll it off conjurer's calling a Sea Giant. Colossus is pretty much unplayable without Luna's Pocket Galaxy and I don't think a bonus 10/1 divine shield when you happen to Galaxy->Colossus->Conjurer's is enough to justify running an otherwise unplayable card.
That's just too much optimism and greed if you ask me.
For those questioning it's legendary rarity I think it has to do with the power level of the card, not how interesting it is. Can you imagine decks like Big Shaman and Big Priest running 2 copies of these instead of 1?
Just thinking about them pulling it from Barnes makes me shudder.
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Muckmorpher on this, then reincarnate -> GG
This is waaayyyy better then Icehowl
It's not super OP, but it is definitely playable
This card would could find its place in a Paladin deck built around Duel with big minions and prismatic lens.
Sea Giants. Mountain costs 12, which is why the Conjurer’s pool is so small — the only 12 drops are Mountain Giant and Grave Horror. 10 is a little more saturated, but the point still stands.
I'm talking about the enemy mage's minions in a conjuring mage mirror-match, tho. If you roll one of these off of a Sea Giant, it can kill several enemy 8/8s and 7/8s and still be conjured.
I expect MG to remain the premium conjuring target simply because of consistency, but the high-roll potential on 10-drops just got a lot bigger, was my point.
What a lazy design for a legendary. 10-mana legendaries should ideally be build-around cards, which Colossus of the Moon just isn't since it does nothing the turn it's played (it's absolutely sticky though, it can survive multiple trades assuming it's not destroyed or silenced). The only way this will be good is if it's cheated out or summoned from a random effect.
That said, I think I can slot this in a Big Warrior deck. Could be a nightmare to deal with. But man, I'd hate to get this from one of my packs...
I hope there won't be "Your reborns trigger twice" card.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Yeah probably, but I am just a optimistic guy :) So I have this deck packed with big minions, galaxy spell and some early game minions removal poly taunts etc where I hope to play galaxy on 5(4) and just value the hell out, including the star aligners. Its obviously weak against aggro, but at least the control warrior is not so happy. And the nice part is, it does not matter a lot what big minions you include as long as they are reduced to 1 mana it becomes a very juicy minion anyway. So you can experiment with a lot of otherwise unplayable minions.
Say you play this while you also have a couple of those Neferset Ritualist at the ready, then this becomes quite a strong card.
I am curious if this card a hint that Sea Giant is going into the HoF.
I whould like this change, when Sea Giant whould get a small buff too by getting the elemental tag.
Or maybe Sea Giants mana cost will just be higher :/ ...
I see you!
Hahaha - this was my same reaction. This looks like it should have been a common card.
I think it`s not that bad - and very useful for Big Shaman, Duel Paladin or Conjurer Mage ...
but i guess Big Shaman or somekind of Duel Palading would make better us of the card because they could "cheat" it out earlier
