really feels like theyre legendary more becuase they dont want you ro run 2 of them in the deck then anything els
Right? Felt the same for almost all the legendaries of this expansion. Not a single crazy, unique or interesting effect, just... Good cards (in terms of game performance). Cool cards for players that want to win, less for players that also want to have fun.
Is it just me or is Seedcloud Buckler yet another completely broken weapon for Paladin?
Decent tempo the turn you play it. 2 attack should be enough to kill a minion, or finish one off. It helps you create and maintain a healthy board over the following two turns... then gives Divine Shield to ALL of your minions... what the hell?
Nah. 2-attack weapons are notoriously terrible and are significantly worse than 3/2s. Having 3 durability also means that it is much harder to activate while giving your opponent more time to prepare for it.
I'm almost certain this used to be a 3/2 before they realized how busted that would be.
If this actually becomes an issue then we need to start looking towards buffing other classes, because they'd have to be really shit to be outpaced by this.
Paying 3-mana for 2-damage a turn is a good way to give up all your tempo and guarantee that you won't have anything useful around to buff when you finally get there.
Darkglare got support... heart it needed it
Mini-set is coming out tomorrow and we know a whooping 13 out of 35 cards. They are really generous with their reveals this time around.
EDIT: And while I was typing that, more new cards appear. That's more like it!
So unless I'm misreading then Perpetual Flame will Overload you for 1 each time it procs....and you can't even target the initil cast.
Why do they hate Shaman this much?
On top of that, I think the recast part won't activate Unbound Elemental since they change the keyword from "Whenever you play a card with Overload" to "After you play a card with Overload"
Nah, whenever and after effects have the same result in 99% of all cases. They probably just changed it because whenever effects are susceptible for unintented interactions like the hilarious things you could do with Illidan.
I appreciate that T5 is going for more defensive secret options, but goddamn it is going to be annoying for half the classes to proc these secrets
Can definitely see a new achievement where you need to summon one of each of the adventurers, or something like "Summon 100 Adventurers" 😟
100
you're being way too optimistic
All the core mechanics? Where's my 2/2 Adventurerer with Overload (1)?
Will be a Shaman class card, don't worry
All this Adventurers stuff seems too weak to see plays.
I like the new legendary with the dream cards, thats fun and probably powerful.
I like the idea of adventureres being classes, but since the expansion is about WC, the warrior should have worn leather shoulderpads.
This mini set also makes me think of the next expansion. Will it focus on an Alliance Area (lvl 20 - 40 and dungeon as well)?
What do we know about the Dream cards Archdruid Naralex gives? Are these the same as Ysera’s cards?
I'm 100% sure
They are indeed, the video confirms it.
Lorewise, dormant is very fitting for Naralex. However, I thought this keyword was tied to Year of the Phoenix?
