Im kinda struggling with the name, isnt radar by nature a detector? lol ... reminds me of "RIP in peace" :D
Mech Paladin was one of my favorite archetypes for that class (even if it never took off) so I'm thrilled for its return.
That "shuffle your deck" part is giving me mad Yu-Gi-Oh vibes from back in the day.
I'm seeing a lot more bottom-of-deck support than I expected! I have mixed feelings!
On one hand, this is an interesting new mechanism for the game. On the other hand, it could make broken combo plays a lot easier to find.
The best-case scenario is if cards that can be added/sent to the bottom are just good cards, not OP combo pieces. I doubt Team 5 had the foresight to make sure that's true.
Now I know which deck I will try first in Wild, when the new expansion is out. :D
If mechs are good, 5 star card.
This looks great. I know post rotation doesn't look good yet but with mage also being pushed to our mechanized overlords I can see core set getting a good sprinkling of mechs both neutral and class focused. Even just drawing 2 will still make this a good draw spell.
Just remember to dredge after this card as it does shuffle your deck around.
2-mana draw 5 in Paladin. That mech class identity is working overtime today
in wild . downvoted by others cause ppl only think standard is the mode to play
Standard too if the Core set has enough Mechs.
Pretty hard to draw 5 when Paladin is only going to have 3 different mechs after rotation, and one of them is Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece.
It's true that we haven't seen the core set which may include a bunch of mechs, but given that Paladin is losing a lot of the support for aggressive strategies (i.e. Hand of A'dal) and we're probably going to see more Holy support, a deck that can consistently get 5 cards off this seems like a pipe dream. I think it's more likely that this card is going to be used to tutor specific sunken cards, and maybe it can synergise with Paladin's colossal minion.
Core Set changes. Core Set changes. Core set changes.
Pretty sure this will shot wild mech paladin to bonkers level since they have Galvanizer and Mechwarper. Even if this draws three it's still excellent.
Time to reequip my Sir Anoy-o hero skin.
"Shields up, red alert!" PTSD incoming.
Good card for Paladin's returning mech archetype. Not much else to be said. Some risk high reward
I like this card. It keeps the Unity of the Mechs in your decks. It requires Precision to play. It is, without a doubt, Perfection.
Zilliax approves this message 🤖👍
He also wants to be added to the core set
Just made a post in the forums before this card was revealed about that
Magnetic will return
This is one thing I love about Hearthstone: because they established that they don't necessarily need to be extremely specific in a card's text, they are free to use words and sentence structure that make it so much more flavourful.
As a matter of fact, the word "scan" works perfectly here, since you don't actually look at the bottom 5 cards of your deck. It's like a sonar, where although you may be scanning multiple different objects, you'll only get readings of the ones your sonar is tuned to detect.
That said, Paladin has access to a grand total of a whopping 3 mechs thus far: Popsicooler, Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece and that new dredge card. With the fact that we're seeing a lot of Holy synergy, I have a feeling there isn't going to be a Mech Paladin deck, but rather that this is to tutor a specific sunken mech minion.
I feel that it's also worth noting that the Mage colossal minion is a mech, and that Ambassador Faelin shuffles it to the bottom of your deck. I wonder what other spicy interactions we may see in the coming reveals.
