Rewards Track: Current progress 5.0

Hey all! We are two weeks into the new expansion and I wonder, as always, where´s everyone at. Since noone has started a new thread and I´m too impatient, I figured to take the imaginary torch back from Tetsuo and create the next one once again :P Feel free to share your progress here, lurk in from time to time or completely ignore this thread, whatever you like :) So let me start:

Like always, I´ve hoarded 3 Weekly and Daily quests and bought the TP from day one, so the first day of expansion I´ve jumped to lvl 26. I´ve started to focus on doing XP achievements, I´m at 50% done right now, and just hit lvl 60 thanks to that. My free Legendaries from RT was Crabatoa on lvl 20 and Raj Naz'jan from lvl 50. I still have 6 of this week´s quests, so I´m expecting/hoping to hit lvl 70 by the end of the week to get that sweet 20% bonus :)

How about you? What´s your current RT level? What free Legendary/ies did you get? Share as much as you want :)

Just hit lvl 56 myself. been pretty active jumping between Arena and BG. Im still Biased about not getting the same among of XP as Standard players, but yeah whatever man. FU blizzard

@Alleria, between the two of us I won the waiting game lol 😆, but more importantly thanks once again for continuing the tradition by creating the latest version of this nice thread.

Sixteen days into the year of the Hydra and I am sitting at level 93 right now. Thus, I am almost done with the cosmetic part of the current Rewards Track. I have collected the entire Voyage to the Sunken City expansion after opening 222 packs which I think is pretty decent. As for the new XP achievements, they are already 100% done. At this moment, I am steadily progressing through the new Core achievements. Personally, I am proud to say that I withstood the FOMO temptation of trading 3000 gold for the overpriced diamond Drek'Thar.

I'm at level 60, and 9% done with the Sunken City achievements. 

My level 50 reward was the Leviathan, woo-hoo! 

I hadn't even noticed that there are new Core achievements to go with the new Core set until this thread. So I went and looked, and their sidebar icon is blank. Ouch. Can't even drop a little hydra icon on there? 

I am done with Level 76 on the Rewards Track as of this evening. I bought the Tavern Pass, and have been grinding the XP achievements. I have two achievements left - no coincidence that they're the ones for my two missing legendaries from the set: Commander Sivara's and Nellie.

So far have loved the flavor of this new expansion. I am really enjoying a hand-hacked "Naga" mage deck right now as I try to discover Sivara using the amalgams. The pop-off turns are so fun!

I personally have no goals for this new rewards track. In fact, I haven't even touched Standard since the expansion launched. I've just been doing a bit of mindless grinding in Mercenaries because I don't have the energy for traditional Hearthstone lol. 

I did reach Level 20 yesterday from all those Mercs XPs, and my reward is Glugg the Gulper. My annual tradition of terrible free legendaries continues.

I'm 59 with my quest log full, will get a couple of new levels over the next few days. Achievement tally at 23%.

My freebies were first Raj Naz'jan (yay!) and then last week Za'qul. I always get Warlock legendaries from the track, except from Stormwind when they were good. And yesterday I opened Gigafin from the rewarded packs.

Lvl 66 Here, been playing a lot (considering the little free time I am having this days) and I am really happy with the current state of standar. Seems like different decks can be played and that is sth I ennjoy a lot.

Got DH's Colossal and Gigafin as free legendaries and right now I am waiting for my next legendary card from Sunken City packs to start saving for the miniset and also start crafting. Got enough dust for 2 more legendaries.

Talking about mission XP. I have not claimed that much of them, but will start doing those this week. Mostly been experimenting with no clear goal in sight.

Will try to reach around lvl 200 on this pass too as I really enjoy getting those skins every 200 lvls.

As expected, I´ve hit lvl 70 yesterday and finally got the 20% bonus. I´m a bit mad at myself, because I didn´t complete my 5 Ranked wins quest, not realizing it was Monday the next day, so I´ve technicaly lost 3000 XP because of that :/ Oh well.. My achievement count is 65% done, did almost all I could with my cards, now I´m trying to do the rest by forcing missing legendaries, like discovering Colossals through Ambassador Faelin or Nagas like Lady S'theno, Commander Sivara or Queen Azshara with Amalgam of the Deep. Other than that, some missing cards can be also found in Duels buckets, like Bottomfeeder, etc.

@NebuchadnezzarHS I knew it was between us two :D Whelp, you won, I couldn´t wait much longer, I´m too curious :P

I reached level 130 and I also finished ALL of the gameplay achievements except It'll Be Done in No Time! for which I still need to win 426 more games with Nozdormu the Eternal in my starting deck. Let us see how long it will take me to complete this last remaining tedious achievement using Linecracker Mecha'thun Druid in Wild and Control Warrior in Standard.

As for Mercenaries, I still have three characters yet to fully max out. I think this will progress a lot faster during the "leaked" N'Zoth special event.

@cavestuck: Diamond Drek'Thar was just way overpriced, but if it ever returns for 1500 gold or less, I might reconsider.

Lvl  72. Been juggling with BG and Arena. looking forward to new BG patch

For the first time im actually been afk farming xp in merc and gave me 2 extra lvls over the week. just doing some runs on phone and when afk at home doing breaks. Normally it wont be bothered doing this and im not a big fan of it but since blizzard decide that giving 25% less xp in BG and arena compared to standard is the way to go and trying to force you into a gamemode that you dont like then i find afk farming merc totally ok. so getting that extra xp is nice.

I´m at lvl 80 now, with XP achievement count at 75% done. Since the new N´Zoth event finally works now, I´m trying to complete it. For Mercenaries, I have them all at lvl 30 (with 11 maxed out), only Deathwing and Drek´Thar missing.

@cavestuck Grats on getting Legend mate :)

Got around to level 91 as of right now, I've just been spamming BG games since the latest release, and climb the Legend tirelessly with Handbuff Pally lol.

Really can't wait to replace my mainstay Shaman and Hunter heroes with Night Elf Vashj and Naga Undead Mommy Sylvanas lol

Level 73 on the Paid RT right now. Been having a blast with a Pirate Thief Rogue. Using the new Pirate Admiral Hooktusk and Ambassador Faelin, along with dredge, to create some strong Contraband Stash turns.

Also messing around with a From the Depths Warrior. Hedra Druid has been fun too. Not quite sure I got my balance of spells into her battlecry right yet, still feels good to play though.

Legendaries so far: Free: Okani, Faelin, Sir Finely (diamond), Hedra (rt freebie)

Packs: Nellie, Crabatoa, Glugg, Radiance, Gaia, Colaque, S'theno

I will say Faelin is the kind of freebie card I love. Gives you a way to see the other legendaries in the set and rewards you for playing the new mechanic. Especially since I got to play them all in one deck! Sad though that Tess is a bit too slow this meta, ah well, maybe in the next.

Level 98 at the start of the day today. Should easily pass 100/the end of the track by the end of today. I have two 1200 point dailies and two of my weekly tasks left, so plenty of XP on demand. Can't wait to get those final Tavern Pass portraits, a couple of them are awesome.

Lvl 81 today. All my gold is going into packs as I did not open any single legendary since expansion opening day and just waiting for pity timer until saving for miniset. Still have 2/3 of achivements to go.

Drekthar's refund policy really made my day.

I'm at level 80 right now ( no bonus) with 70% achievement hunting down, there are a few that will likely be impossible for me to do due to rarity, but this has been by far the easiest achievement one to grind IMO.

The Voyage meta started out fresh, but now I rarely see innovative decks which is a shame, as a warlock main it was painful early and I don't really enjoy playing with or against curses.

Faelin is a perfect free legendary, really pleased with that decision by blizz. I also really enjoy dredge and sunken, overall a decent and flavorful expansion. 

I just arrived at level 200. This marks the halfway point which means there is another six more weeks to go before crossing the Rewards Track finish line.

This season I reached legend with my Even Warlock which consistently beats Pirate Rogue on the wild ranked ladder. More than half of all the ranked games I played were against aggro decks and thus the penultimate climb from D5 to (dumpster) legend was relatively easy.

In hindsight, I should have spent that 3000 spare gold to get the free diamond Drek'Thar. Oh well, better luck next time.

Hopefully, the announcement for the upcoming mini-set or next Mercenaries special event will be announced soon™ because IMO Hearthstone is already getting pretty kind of stale once again.

What has your Rewards Track journey been like so far? Very positive, I hope.

Reached 85 today, still missing my "Win 5 ranked games" weekly and one related to battlegrounds as I did not feel like playing.

After Drekthar's nerf I got 3K gold and opened packs till legendary. (only 2) now saving for mini-set and next expansion 3.1K gold saved as of now.

I´m at lvl 95, hoping to hit lvl 100 at the end of this week. My XP achievement count is at 80% done, didn´t really work on it, since I was focusing on Mercenaries these days. Still missing Deathwing (350/500), but it´s the only one I don´t own by now. Another two are maxed out, so it puts me at number 13 total. As for the N´Zoth event, I´m forever stuck at Murlocs in the Valley. I can get all the way up to the Rotimer no problem, only to get one shooted in the boss battle. I´m thinking about giving up, tho I really like the Diamond N'Zoth. Just like I gave up with the Chi-Ji event, can´t have them all I guess :P

As expected, I´ve hit lvl 100 at the end of the week, choosing Garrosh of Might as my 6th RT hero. The new XP achievements has sent me back to 60% done (down from 80%), but since I´ve bought the mini set with gold (getting a nice coin thanks to that), it shouldn´t be a problem. At least I hope so, as I haven´t seen them yet, praying there´s no Oh my Yogg! difficulty this time :P As for mercenaries, I´ve hoarded 19 free packs from tasks, so I´m more than ready to get most of the new ones right away, even more so when I found out that there is free golden Tyreal mercenary in the shop! Yay!

@Avalon, thanks for the guide, I do have Balinda, but haven´t seen any comp including her? I´ve tried murlocs, dragons, humans, orcs, even nature comps, but to no luck :/ I think it´s mainly because I´m missing many of the required equipments locked behind heroic bosses. Ah well, never mind, maybe next time.. At least I have chicken! :D

Hey all, how´s it going? For me, after two another weeks I´m at lvl 130. With XP achievements, I´m only at 70% done, not much progress here, since I´m focusing on doing the new Y'Shaarj Mercenaries Event. This time I´m stuck on Task 8 You're a Kid Now, it seems impossible to complete with my beloved Nature team, so I´ll wait for our precious Avalon for a guide with some good comp tips :) (EDIT: I see the guide is up and ready, I will look at it later, thanks, Avalon!) I´d hate to give up again on the Diamond Y'Shaarj, but seeing the other two tasks, I´m not sure if I´ll be able to finish it all. We´ll see. Right now I´m missing 7 of the new mercenaries, 4 epics and 3 Legendaries and have maxed out another two (15 total). All new normal bounties are done, but I won´t do Heroic ones now, because I want to start to focus on completing XP achievements again. Anyway, good luck all with anything you´re doing/trying to achieve :)

You should know that the last one is a piece of cake, just get to Serena Bloodfeather in the Barrens and windfury will do the trick. I did #8 with holy team but #9 was trickier.

I'm doing well otherwise, at lvl 129 now. I haven't played much this month but made a jump from Gold 5 to Diamond 10 the last two days and cleared the quest log. Slower on achievements, 39% now but I have no plans to grind the most boring or unrealistic tasks.

107 with Tavern Pass. Been fun, 19 legendaries overall. Bouncing around different decks. Been distracted with other games to really progress but certainly happy with were I am. Colossal and dredge have been real fun. My Identity Pirate (Thief Pirate Rogue) has been my go to for most of this expansion. Stealing and resummoning Colossals feels good.

114 with Game Pass. 

Hit Level 175 yesterday with the Tavern Pass. I've been playing a mix of modes, but mostly constructed. Still really enjoying the flavor of this expansion, if not all of the archetypes. I am working on grinding the less RNG-driven achievements from the mini-set. 

I just hit level 300 today. All the new XP achievements have been completed in the meantime. I have collected all the 18 new Mercenaries and finished their tasks plus the special Y'Shaarj event. I am not really sure what to focus on now though. Perhaps reach 1500 wins with all 10 classes in anticipation of the next possible tier of collectible hero portraits.

EDIT: @Daowen, I can sleep again after completing the entire Rewards Track 😂

I just hit lvl 107, without the pass. Just the daily, weekly and mercs. If i only had time to do the achievements haha

Lvl 152 with Tavern Pass.

Arena+BG+ Merc afk ( only good thing that came out of mercanaries )

I´ve hit lvl 150 (with TP) and 1200 levels total in Tavern Regular achievement at the same time, so I could choose my seventh tier two hero Transcendence Anduin. As for Mercenaries, I got stuck on the 9th Y'Shaarj task with pirates Tag Team. I haven´t unlocked the second task for Edwin, Defias Kingpin, so I didn´t stand a chance. On the bright side, thanks to free packs from other tasks I´m missing only 4 new mercs, one rare and three Legendaries, which is cool (and I´ve finaly got enough coins to craft Deathwing). I´ve maxed out another two mercs, so I´m at 17 total. With that out of the way, I can finally focus on completing the SC XP achievements, and even finishing some of the old ones (I´ve crafted Lightforged Cariel just for the achievement and DE-d her for full dust after completion lol). Other than that, I´m just doing my quests, play one Brawl a week for pack and that´s it for me these days.

Level 132 with pass here. Just been doing dailies for some days because of work. Also achived 1000 total levels, so I can rest knowing I got another tier 2 skin. (Trying to get one per expansion if possible)

Yesterday I´ve hit lvl 180 and I´m at 80% XP achievements done, hoping to finish most of them before they remove the XPs from it. Too bad the Warlock one We DID start the Fire is broken after the recent patch, along with it´s Herald of Shadows not counting towards the neutrals Harold Who? achievement. I really hope they will fix it in time, but I honestly doubt it. As for mercenaries, I´m happy that I was able to finish the Yogg-Saron event this time to receive it´s Diamond version, yay! It´s my second Diamond mercenary (first was Leeeeroyyy Jenkins :D). Other than that, I´ve maxed out another merc, so I´m at 18 total now.

So, we´re like a month before the new expansion, how are you happy/unhappy with your climb this RT season? Do you expect to finish higher or lower than before? Do you plan to finish the achievements until they are still rewarding XPs, not stressing about it or have you already finished them? Anyway, wish you a good climb and a lots of gold, so we can enjoy the new expansion to the fullest :) Have fun all!

I´m at lvl 200 right now (with full log) with 95% SC achievements done (thankfully they´ve finally fixed the Immolate one), expecting to end the season more or less around lvl 230, which would be my lowest yet - my previous end levels were 250+. I´ve missed a couple Ranked Weeklies (not feel like playing these past weeks), and haven´t had a friend quest for a half a year now, so there´s that. I´ve maxed another merc, so I´m at 19 now, with 25 hoarded merc packs. My gold count is at 8,3k which is nice I guess, getting ready/excited for the new expansion. I even left an Arena run opened just in case, heh. Let´s goooo :D

I am totally ready for the new expansion; the daily quest log is fully stocked with three 1800 XP quests plus a full set of weeklies. I just need to refrain myself from clicking on the reroll icon which my finger seem to always gravitate towards.

Not really feeling the hype just yet after having seen the revealed cards so far. Just glad that new achievements will be added for us to complete. I only have three mercenaries left to max out (six upgrades total). Also, C'Thun will be the next Old God to get introduced, w00t!

Don't you kinda feel that they should've just let players go infinite level instead being stingy with Lv.400? I mean why would they limit that in the first place? We all know that there's a bunch of different player that may or may not reach 400. But for those reaching 400, it's such a downer to have to see our own XP wasted just like that.

What's with that logic of stop giving player some more gold? And to be honest, those players reaching 400 I can even bet spending some real cash too, to some extend, so, gold is not a commodity they really need unlike F2P players.

@h0lysatan, I agree with you. The limit is kind of unnecessary. Though, I am not at all bothered by it that much, really.

In fact, having an artificial finish line and by reaching it I get to experience a form of accomplishment. Also, I enjoy the relieved pressure of needing to play HS during the last few weeks actually.

I am currently sitting nicely on 40K gold. I honestly do not know what would be meaningful to me to spend that gold on besides packs of the latest expansion until completion which for me happens at a modest average of 220 packs.

220 as we speak with all quest done for now. sitting at 9400 gold. I gotten more interested in BG lately and playing less arena for now so the gold has been going up. Probably buying the perk the next xpac then and also the Tavern pass as usual, but nothing else.

I know standard is getting more xp but getting to lvl 400 is so insane. i am playing HS like 80% of my time and reaching even 230 with pass is very time consuming.

Up to 175 as of today (w/ TP). Good enough. I got about 4k gold too which is a lot for me. Almost 4k dust as well. Colossal and dredge have been real fun. The theme of MCN really got me and the puns! Definitely excited for the next set. Curious where they go with the mini set from there too. They hit a lot of random dungeons and other zones for characters. Could be anywhere (The Maw or De Other Side are my hopes).

I´m at lvl 220 and slowly reaching the end of current RT, might reach lvl 240 and keep my next Weeklies and three Dailies for the new one. My XP achievement count stopped at 96% done, and most likely will stay that way, since it no longer grands XP and I´m missing last two required minions to complete it all - Bottomfeeder and Kotori Lightblade. I´m sooo excited to do the new achievements, hopefully will open most of the required cards. Currently I´m sitting on 9k+ coins so I should be able to open around 100 packs at the launch which feels great (time to start praying to RNG Gods). With mercs I´ve maxed another one, so I´m at round 20 done. Looking forward to the new C´thun event, I hope I´ll be able to get that sweeet diamond version.

I am working on level 275 today, and will finish Sunken City a little short of where I got to in Alterac Valley. I have thoroughly loved the flavor of this expansion, and have played most of the various game modes, at least a little bit. Right now I am following Old Guardian's guide for grinding the new mercs coins - something I can do stress-free during the workday. It doesn't yield nearly as  much XP as playing ladder or other modes, but it's progress towards a goal (maxing all mercs in my collection, F2P in mercs except for the initial $5 welcome bundle)...

I completed all but 2 of the XP achievements in Sunken City - didn't bother with trying to trigger the second tier of Ozumat's DR, and never got close with the Demon Hunter AOE one.

I have nearly 38K in gold saved up and a ton of dust waiting on the sidelines. Even with all that, I plan to pre-order Castle Nathria because the "free" legendaries that are given with the bundles help out the initial expansion collection so much. I'll probably supplement the pre-orders with gold totaling 100 or so extra packs - more than enough to get all the epics, and hopefully close to all the legendaries if I am lucky.

Can't wait to crack open packs and play with the new cards next week!

I'll probably come in around level 151ish overall I feel the expansion was a great success, decent mechanics, great flavor.

probably have around 5k gold which is about normal for me because they always release at least one warlock skin in the shop that I have to buy with gold.

Looking forward to the castle, warlock got some really fun tools and Prince and Sire are great free legendaries. Locations are a cool new mechanic as well.

With the new expansion on the horizon, I'm proud to reveal that I have reached the impressive heights of...Level 57. Yes, I hardly played traditional Hearthstone during this expansion. I spent most of it in Mercenaries, which is starting to bore me as well. I'll probably try to get to 60, but I don't know if I have the energy for it. 

I just didn't give two craps about this expansion. I don't know why people like it so much, but I'm not judging them, to each their own. The next expansion isn't tickling my interest either. I guess my passion for this game is simply trickling away until one day, I no longer feel the urge to play it. 

Oh, and for my level 50 legendary reward, I got...Lady Ashvane! Yet another useless legendary from the rewards track. That's what, five in a row now of useless legendaries? Amazing, lol.

Grinded to level 200 yesterday and I will wait for next track. I reached 20ish levels less than usual, I do not know why because I enjoyed the expansion a lot.

Level 180 and just hit Legendary for the 2nd time about six hours before midnight :)

Also, just hit 5,000 gold which is my normal goal to get 50 packs on launch. Personally, I'm loving the rewards tracks, the consistent nerfs/buffs, and other freebies - haven't paid anything at all in almost two years. 

Paid Pass.  I'll stop at 217.  I'm pretty satisfied considering I took some breaks to play other games this expansion.

So today I´ve hit lvl 240 (just as I´ve expected) and that means my end of this RT. It´s the lowest yet (by 10 lvls or so), but I didn´t really like the meta lately. I´ve hoarded 10 free MaCN packs and 10k gold, so I´m very excited to open 110 packs in the evening. I also have an Arena run opened and managed to save three Weeklies and Dailies, so I´m more than ready to go :) I bought the pass before and plan to buy it again.
