"Permanently" added to your hand, well, that's a new one.
Putricide has made the first(?) ever class swap from hunter to rogue, which makes perfect sense since he was always misplaced in hunter to begin with. I guess we can expect Anub'arak to do the same and move to druid, given all their nerubian cards so far.
Elder Nadox should spell ‘minions’, not ‘minion’, right?
Indeed. Thanks for noticing and bringing it to our attention, fixed a little while ago!
When I saw all the druid cards prior to this, I had hoped that we might actually have a mild druid set this time round.
And then I saw Crypt Keeper and immediately get that feeling 'Here the fuck we go again'
I'd just like to remind team5 that there are other classes in the game besides druid. Because in what world is this card fair considering that Feral Rage only costs 3 mana? Even if its not on turn 3, the fact that its can easily cost 0 should immediately ring alarm bells. You'd think anyway.
Hopefully there's a typo somewhere, this cant be real.
ok
Wtf is Lingering Zombie. Why does it have so much fucking stats for the cost. Guess Druids just get all the good shit by defaul
Looks like rogue is doing the relics next expansion, except its called concoctions this time. If Im guessing, the concoctions are standalone spells that will keep adding itself into each other so at the end you'll get one massive drug that would presumably end the game.
But honestly, if it ends the game any later than turn 7 you might as well scratch the whole thing off because everyone would just be playing miracle rogue instead.
A combined one was also leaked, but it’s not present in the article. It doesn’t have the italic text, so it looks like it stops at combinations of 2.
Add a random card from another class to your hand, it costs (3) less.
Warcraft lore nerd here, getting irrationally angry about Mind Eater. Worgen can't be risen as undead, except only as Death Knights and only by the Lich King. It's the main plot point in Silverpine Forest post-Cataclysm.
Presumably being a DK rather than a shadow priest is just a choice (either yours or the Lich King's, depending how much autonomy you have), since playable classes are always a matter of mechanical convenience rather than strictly distinct entities in the lore. Many NPCs don't fall neatly into the playable classes, for example. So I think it's fine to have an undead worgen shadow priest, especially since it would be assumed Arthas raised it in this case.
Im actually interested. Is there a contrivance as to why this can't happen, except as death knights?
Far as I know, the curse is actually a druid thing, so its related to nature magic as opposed to arcane or necromancy. So why cant worgen come back as undead?
I'm pretty sure it was just a plot contrivance. Back in Cataclysm, Sylvanas gained the service of Arthas' val'kyr, and she was using them to resurrect fallen Alliance soldiers into new Forsaken. One of the reasons the worgen were brought into the Alliance's ranks was to convert their forces in Lordaeron into worgen so that Sylvanas couldn't do that.
The reason why The Lich King is the exception is so they could justify you rolling a worgen death knight.
Prescience is Shaman's first Shadow spell. It will give the class more value out of Multicaster and, more generally, it's kinda neat. Here's hoping for tons more spell school interactions in the future.
Also: chump blockers on 4 while you develop your hand is not nothing.
Also: they're not just chump blockers since you can evolve one or both when you don't need the taunt.
Also: this is two more warm bodies that can inherit a deathrattle . . . but that doesn't play nice with evolve. Aw, we were on a roll. Still, looks good for both evolve and deathrattle if not so much together.
Edit: I should have specified in Standard since I disregarded Haunting Visions.
Haunting Visions would like a word with you :P Also Deathweaver Aura was revealed first in this set.
Sooooo which one was supposed to be revealed by Regis?
He doesn't seem to have gotten a reveal this time. Idk if its a rumors thing that I'm not aware of.
I'm actually a little saddened by Scourge Tamer. It makes Deathstalker Rexxar just a little less unique. It's like when in World of Warcraft they introduce a Raid boss with a really awesome model, then two expansions later you need to collect 10 Chromaggus asses in the new race's starting zone.
