alright, I'm gonna be optimistic here:
JUdging by the Shaman set, they are not bound to reveal every synergistic at once, meaning there could very well be some card that actually make this worth running.
Specifically I'm thinking about possibly getting a tutor for Fire Spells (or maybe even better a card that just says "discover a Fire spell from your deck, so you can still run other fire spells). Either that or something that shuffles big boys into your deck (we have Faelin, but he doesn't work all that well with this)
Either way, just hear me out on this one. This on 5, Lor'themar on 7 and then you just one-shot your opponent with a 30-attack Trenchstalker. I don't care if it's good, I'll fucking do it.
That would be a 34 attack Trenchstalker. I'm with you, though, that would be one hell of a way to win the game. Maybe Decimator Olgra wants a piece of this action, too.
That's what I'm thinking. Warrior definitely has enough valuable targets for this, and you can pretty realistically stabilize at around turn 7 with stuff that aggro just cannot get past. The only issue is playing Blackrock 'n' Roll at turn 5 consistently and the only thing that helps with that is a specific tutor
Blackrock 'n' Roll has some potential! If you play this on turn 5, followed by Lor'themar Theron on turn 7, you're looking at some thicc bois for the rest of the game. If you can gain enough armor and draw some taunts ...
Awww cool is that War Master Voone in the artwork?
Also adding power and health is fantastic unless this card is at the bottom of your deck.
But then I guess you'd run Lothemar as like a second copy of this.
I guess this is a tempo or big warrior tool
Haha! :D I really like today's flavorful "Reveals: Day 5!" news picture! Laughed out before I even clicked the news :D
(funny and real (I guess) at the same time, plus the Dormant thing, that when you are Enraged you go to sleep (Dormant)).
(Less funny if you are the one sitting and waiting at 5 AM, that's for sure...)
As for "Blackrock 'n' Roll" card, seems strong... except it is a 1 of as a Legendary and you have to survive somehow first and then draw it on time...
Sorry but I am not optimistic about this one, until we see some more Warrior cards.
Well, I mean, warrior will be a class, right? In this new release system they are releasing cards with sinergy, so, this card doesnt have sinergy? We at least need to see the core set
[Hearthstone Card (Blackrock ‘n’ Roll) Not Found] is not what warrior wants or needs. Cool card I guess atleast. Second 5 mana song related to Blackrock mountain
At first I saw Black Rock n Roll like “… Wut?” But then I thought of C'Thun! Will probably still suck, but that’s never stopped me from trying before!
Well that gives Cthun +4/+4. I think I'd rather just use the guy from Lich King that doubles minions' stats (Lordemar? idk)
It gives C'Thun +10/+10. It adds the cost, not set it to them.
Oh, I see! I misunderstood the card then. Yeah, then it would make more sense for Cthun!
Lol, and here I was optimistic that warrior wont get screwed yet again.
And then this comes out. There better be huge support, like an AoE to replace Shield Shatter, and a draw engine, otherwise the rock concerts going to the morgue.
It is not that bad card as you might think at first. It adds stats not replace. So 5 Mana 4/4 will become 5 Mana 9/9 not 5/5.
This, plus Lor'themar looks good. Yes it is legendary card but each time I play Lor'themar it does nice things so this would be like second Lor'themar.
If you get to play it on turn 5 then yes, its not as bad as it looks.
The problem is not being able to do that, and the fact is that you're playing a 5 mana do nothing, not even to your hand or board. Most games are pretty much on the cusp by turn 5, so doing something like that is kinda crazy. Plus, warrior cant draw for shit (for now anyway).
And... Warrior is looking like a forgotten class yet again... Warrior is the new priest 😅 RIP
