Is it worth buying Wild Adventures?

Just a quick question to raise to you all.
I'm considering getting them for both the cards, and the gameplay, but are the cards worth it in wild? Or if so, should I only pick up some adventures and not others? Thanks in advance.

Depends on what decks and cards you want.
Naxxramas and League of explorers have quite a few good cards that see play in today's meta. The other two... Not so much.
My advice would be to buy those two, if you really need those cards, and craft specific cards from the other two remaining adventures.
Wild is a RnG fiesta, games are won or lost based on your match ups, so no it is not worth it.
Dead but dreaming
Yes, their dust value is way better than the dust value of packs for the same price, many more legendaries. (I suggest getting LOE and naxx tho, the other 3 adventures are kinda bad)
Reno Jackson
Kazakus
My faves!
You can beat me but I will still yeet your skeet
And the same thing is also happening in standard :)

^ Basically this. It really depends on the type of decks you want to play. If you share your personal preferences with us, we can give you more specific tips on what to craft/buy.
If you plan to play Wild in its full extent, with all kinds of decks and archetypes, from Aggro to Reno, then yes, it's definitely worth it.
But if your spectrum of archetypes is more selective, then you should check first.
Yeah. I'm looking at certain archetypes I like and think I want LoE, Naxx and maybe Karazhan. I'll keep looking, but I've crossed out Blackrock for now.
:)
I highly recommend the first (or second?) Wing of blackrock for emperor thaurissan. This guy will allways be a nice combo enabler in wild.
Otherwise ... 28 packs vs an adventure. Definitly worth it if you want to get invested into wild

I found them all to be quite enjoyable; if you're looking for a break from PvP, it doesn't hurt to play singleplayer content that rewards you a bunch of cards and a couple card backs.
In terms of the actual content I'd say League of Explorers is easily the most fun of the lot. Kharazan is a bit too easy and Naxx and Blackrock especially have a few bosses that are so difficult you basically need a specific sequence of events to win, so you're just restarting over and over until your Majordomo Executus gets Mindgames-ed. Big whoop.
WRT cards, other than LoE there are only a handful that see play (Emperor T, Barnes) so you might as well craft them specifically if you're just doing it for the cards.
The wild adventures reward you with many cards that are still staples for their various archtypes today. For example, Brann, Reno, Blackwing Corrupter, Loatheb. Honestly some of the wings aren't that worth it anymore in terms of gold, but if you don't want to spend thousands of dust crafting the staples you're going to have to bite the bullet and push through the less OP wings to get the better rewards later on.
In terms of gameplay I would definitely say the heroic modes are worth it. If you don't look up videos to instantly cheese the encounters most are quite satisfyingly challenging tbh.
Well you could just play standard then and play fotm class roulette, where some classes just completely disappear from the meta for months at a time *coughcough*.
Btw, speaking of wild being an rng fiesta all I have to say is Dr. Boom hero powers/'Discover a random Devastator' and Mana Cyclone in standard say hi ;)
Pick your poison.
Definitely purchase Naxx and League of Explorers, the other two you could probably get away with crafting the few viable legendarys
OK. Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I'll only get Naxx and League and craft the other cards I need for good decks.
:)
Gameplay warning: if you end up trying out Heroic Naxxramas, it mey turn out to be harder than expected. At least when I did those (probably during LoE?) a lot of the bosses were pretty damn hard with the cards I had back then. It's still worth it though, and those adventures are good choices indeed.
I got 4 legendary cards, kinda pleased - but they advertised it 7$ cheaper so I will also try to sue them for that amount. On the bad note Regis got 0 legendaries - absolute trash.
Adventures, not the bundle.
Good luck with that.
Seriously.
The end of days is coming. Doomsayer was right all along.
Naxx and LoE have many decent cards for Wild that are still played nowdays regularly.
Other Adventures are not so interesting and you should probably just craft what you need instead of buying them all.
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?"
Adventures are funny! You should buy them for this reason ;)
For the cards, every adventures have cards that are played in wild meta: Naxxramax has some good low rarity card, Loatheb and Kel'Thuzad, while the Mountain has Thaurissan, LoE has Reno Jackson and Brann Bronzebeard, and Kharazan has Barnes and Medivh.
Yeah, but if the only good Blackrock card is Emperor, I can just craft him tbh.
:)
There are a few more playable cards in Blackrock Mountain, but Emperor is the only one that isn't easy to replace by anything else.
Dark Iron Skulker is nice since Rogue doesn't have a lot of AoE options.
Gang Up used to be a unique card, but now there is Lab Recruiter who is usually just better.
Demonwrath is useful in Control Warlock, Demonlock and Renolock.
Lava Shock is good in overload decks.
Resurrect is too good for its cost...
But all of those are cheap crafts, so not really a reason to buy the adventure.
Unless the card DB is broken, there seem to be no epics in BRM, and of the legendaries Emperor Thaurissan is good and unique, Nefarian and Chromaggus are playable but easy to replace, while Rend Blackhand is less versatile than Crowd Roaster and Majordomo Executus is a meme card.
If you really like dragons, getting BRM might be worth it, otherwise crafting select cards would be more efficient.
As legendary, yes. But the other can be used as budget solution for some archetype, or they are still worth 400 dust each, that means a free legendary of your choice. This is a point too.
For non legendaries, the card in Blackrock are part of the dragon engine you can use in dragon warrior or dragon priest, and other interesting card too like flamewalker or grim patron. Most of Blackrock cards are used in some kind of deck, from zoolock to egg druid to the various dragon archetype you can build (warrior, priest, paladin, other).
Most cards aren't used in high tier decks, other than skulker, flamewaker, quick shot and Twilight welp. That's not worth spending 25 bucks (iirc) on.
