Without details I can't easily comment, but on Jinx specifically, she's a really sketchy strategy to run to be honest. She's fun to play when she works, but your entire deck revolves around finding her, playing her and keeping her alive. The second one of those three things fails, the entire deck falls apart because you're playing a deck designed to burn cards without the tools that sustain that strategy. So, it's possible you're losing games because you're going all-in on a really unreliable strategy.
Can't really comment on the Braum/Garen deck without details, beyond confirming that Braum is on the strong side at the moment in general and so may be carrying you :P
Read the wording on Barrier. It specifically states that it prevents the next damage that would be dealt to this minion. That qualifier is in there for a reason. If a 5-attack Overwhelm hits an ally with 3 health, that ally will take 3 damage and the Nexus will take 2. Logically, from the wording of Barrier, the 3 damage will be prevented but not the 2. I must apologise to Riot on this score, as I had previously suggested that the wording should be updated to prevent this confusion, but on checking realised the wording was already correct.
If, on the other hand, you're suggesting that this should be implemented as a balance change rather than a gameplay clarity one, I would disagree. There's nothing to suggest either Keyword needs balancing work right now.
Drain should not heal if hitting a Barrier
Now this I agree with, as it's consistent with the Overwhelm treatment. The wording states that the damage is negated, and if the damage is negated then it isn't dealt. If damage isn't dealt, no draining is done. It's also consistent with Lifesteal, because a Lifesteal follower hitting a Barrier will not heal the Nexus.
The one caveat I'll say to the above is I don't actually recall seeing this interaction in game yet, so I'm not 100% convinced that actually is how Drain is working right now - it wouldn't be the first time someone posted convinced they saw an interaction they didn't. But assuming it works as posted, that feels inconsistent.
Killing Barrier cards
I can't really tell what you're trying to say on this point. If you're saying 'this is the incorrect interaction', then no, you're wrong. Barrier wording negates damage, wheras kill effects remove without dealing damage. Rules working perfectly as written.
If you're saying it should be different then all I can really say is I wholly disagree. I'm not seeing any reason right now to wholesale buff Barrier cards without data.
Kindly Tavernkeeper can heal Nexus, i guess not that surprising, but i havent been picking it cause the wording didnt imply it, i didnt think Nexus would be considered "an ally", that makes the card much better.
You're right, it's not very intuitive at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it makes sense: if it didn't work on the nexus, it'd read "an allied unit." Just like how "Deal X damage to anything" differs from "Deal X damage to a unit".
Luckily, I found out about Tavernkeeper being able to heal the nexus early on. It makes him quite versatile, especially since healing from other sources (spells) tends to be more expensive in comparison.
As AngryShuckie said, Rafaam didn't plan to defeat Galakrond. But pretty soon after the resurrection, he realized that if he let Galakrond continue to rampage, there would be no audience left to witness Rafaam's glory.
I kinda like the way the two stories are tied up: in both cases Galakrond is defeated and Rafaam gets away, but in one story Rafaam defeated Galakrond and in another story Reno did. So what we have is a chaotic event and two huge egos claiming that they defeated the Big Bad, leaving anyone who wasn't there (and some that were) unsure what is fact and what is boasting.
I think its a silly plot with no intention of meaningfull narrative. The focus is on the fun, witch is fine by me. A card game is not exactly the best medium for story narration
Although i agree that a deeper storyline would be great. Maybe they up their game next year..?
I agree that its a silly plot, and less said about the final wing's storyline the better, but I have some reservations about your opinion on card games as a medium of storytelling.
It serves well as a medium, with its own limitations and strengths different but certainly not any lesser compared with other mediums. I personally thought the way Witchwood's adventure ending (final fight with Hagatha) was handled and presented is leagues above from what we got in Galakrond's awakening, so there's no excuse why Galakrond's awakening cannot reach the same if not better level than was done.
Hi, we are glad that you are excited! :) We dont have an exact eta just yet, still working on the proper tools for it. We want to have a dedicated system for it to make things more fair than before and just the whole experience to feel even better, so hang on for a little while longer ;-)
I don't think Rafaam originally planned to defeat Galakrond. He just did that because Galakrond had destroyed too much and was leaving no one behind to fear/worship/etc him.
Also, they DID take artifacts from Dalaran: the treasures we took/used in the Dalaran Heist. It is very possible one of these was needed to unleash the plagues in Uldum (we only saw the story from the Explorers' point of view so we didn't see how the plagues were released). Certainly it seems unlikely they could be released without something special; if anyone could just go to Uldum and let them out they weren't imprisoned very well.
Keep in mind Rafaam is an ethereal with a huge ego. It is well within his character to steal treasures purely for the sake of stealing treasures, and Dalaran is itself one heck of a treasure. Plus it provided a very useful and portable base for the league of E.V.I.L.
Is the story told perfectly? No. As Bersak said above card games are not the best medium for story telling. Did I have to make inferences without official confirmation of the facts? Yes. But you can make a consistent narrative if you are willing to fill in a few blanks.
That's probably my criticism of the adventure as well. The supposed 'choice' of either supporting the explorers or EVIL is rendered moot if both ending results in Galakrond's butt getting kicked.
Moreover, from the final wing, we see Rafaam and Galakrond scorching everything in Azeroth, with him victorious, but make no mention of what he does with Azeroth (king of the world, etc.) seemingly implying that the motivation for doing all this was because its evil.
In my opinion, the final wing should have been a straight up choice: joining explorers or EVIL, no jumping between good and evil wings (you still get all the cards). EVIL's end boss will be against all the explorers (for some reason throughout the entire adventure it is implied that the explorers you defeated aren't dead, but the EVIL guys are properly dead when defeated), and explorer's ending would be to stop Galakrond and Rafaam.
Of course the canon ending would be for the explorers to win.

"Rised" could be refering to Rise of Shadows. When that expansion was released, Ungoro, Frozen Throne and Kobolds rotated, so it could be any card from those. Then there's the HoF'ing of Divine Favor, Doomguard and Naturalize. Since the riddle is written from a first person view and there's only one minion card among the HoF'ed candidates, I go with Doomguard.
@DestroyeR: are you still updating the leaderboard in the original post? I could help with a quick count.
Just a few comments. I haven't tried your list yet but I'm basing my opinions from my experience of playing quest paladin in this meta.
- I noticed your list does not have Truesilver Champion and instead includes Sky Gen'ral Kragg. Since both cards does mostly the same thing (deal 4 damage), but truesilver can do it twice, there's no reason to not include this in favour of Kragg.
- I would personally either remove Kangor's Endless Army or SN1P-SN4P due to the major anti synergy here. With Shotbot included KEA has been watered too substantially enough, and with Snip snap in the mix, there's a good chance KEA generates a 1/1 instead of something substantial.
- Remove Acolyte of Pain for Witchwood Piper. Piper does just about the same thing but better. I would personally make room for two pipers.
- One copy of Equality. Better than Subdue and Shrink Ray. Best of all, if your opponent plays taunt minions to block damage, you can whisk it all away without removing damage from your side.
After finishing the last chapter of the adventure I'm quite confused about the plot.
How does stealing Dalaran help with resurrecting Galakrond? They could have just start in Uldum and steal the Plagues? Would make more senses if they gain some kind of magical artifacts from Dalaran.
What did Rafaam achieve by resurrecting Galakrond and then defeat it? Is it just to defeat the good guys? That is not consistent with his theme as a thief IMO.
Will probably move to Piltovnia, want to collect Teemo deck, might not be viable bu FUN. I like how Runeterra is FUN and you can still win games sometimes, while in HS meme decks are bad (( not so much FUN
This is a pretty huge change! It slows down how fast demons can ramp up by a lot, perhaps even giving other tribes (besides murlocs) a fighting chance.

Show Spoiler
So what's the goal of Rafaam? How does stealing Dalaran help with resurrecting Galakrond? And what did he achieve by resurrecting Galakrond and then defeat him?
The first week of the open beta, I barely had anything so I threw together my versions of the 3 starter decks (including exchanging Ionia/Zed for Noxus/Darius in the Jinx deck). Lots of mismatched odds & ends that just happen to be around the right mana cost/function, right? Ugly, but they win games--let's say 50-50. And I'm not really one for fiddling with decks, so I just leave them. So this week, I decide after my vault I'm going to go and revisit them and finally spend a few wildcards crafting a few essentials for my favorite, the Jinx deck. I take out Darius and some of the 3-cost stuff and focus on discard-synergy, nexus damage, and cards that are easier to cycle for rockets--we can debate whether that's a good deck building strategy, but at least its *a* strategy, right? And I go something like 1:5 that night. So I figure maybe I'm just off or maybe its some unfavorable matchups; I try again this evening and again go like 0:3. Then I swap back to my oddball Jinx deck and its like 2:1, and then I go to my oddball Braum/Garen deck and it goes like 2:1.
It's like the harder I try in building the deck, the worse my games go. My rationale brain realizes the aforementioned is very poor sample size and that there was an inherent trade-off building so heavily around Jinx--all the same, though, my emotional brain is saying that to just forgot about deck building and keep playing the crappy oddball decks until they break entirely. :-P
Holy complainers. Its a tavern brawl. If you want something more serious and competitive play ladder or something. Brawls are just fun with a free pack! Relax and have the fun!!

Summarising so as to save space:

Yes they are not in the res pool. It is as if the cards were not put in your deck.

What is Rafaam's goal in Galakrond Awakening
Rafaam's ego is the main theme: "the Supreme Archeologist", Arch-Thief Rafaam, Arch-Villain Rafaam. He really wants to feel important.
As AngryShuckie said, Rafaam didn't plan to defeat Galakrond. But pretty soon after the resurrection, he realized that if he let Galakrond continue to rampage, there would be no audience left to witness Rafaam's glory.

They stole dalaran to gain more henchmen and a base of operations, maybe also information about how to revive the plagues.
They got to uldum to get the plague of undeath.
He revived galakrond to conquer azoroth, then defeated him to ensure he won't betray him and so he could prove he is stronger than him.

When deck building defies logic
Well i have experience of this in other cardgames.
Sometimes going toomuch in one synergy leaves you open for too much counter.
Jinx is really fun but my fav deck with her has darius in it as a midgame thread
Yes sometimes he got discarded if i need a thread answered or if its better to go for jinx lvl up or the rocket
But he gives you another way to close the game
Think what your biggest weaknesses are and maybe share them so we can figure stuff out :)
