I was referring to only milling your opponent and whilst unfun to play against I also think it's fair as it has its counters. I mean what's people's strategy to control and combo at the mo. The typical answer would be to rush them down. Can anyone suggest some more counters besides this and milling
You'll often lose against combo decks but a full on value deck will beat control. Burgle rogue should rarely lose to a true control deck for example. In fact, with Togwaggle's Scheme and/or Academic Espionage it is a reasonable counter to mill decks too.
I experimented with lots of "fun" decks, for instance star aligners, hand-mage, dragon-reno, cyclone-chenvaala, mechathun otk to name a few. But not to climb a ladder, just to play a fun game.
I would change Silver Sword, I guess that the value that you can get of it is not as big as playing big minions every turn. Personally I would prefer Sir Finley of the Sands, but that depends of the game style.
Lost a game because of spaghetti Code, and i don't know if i'm angry or delused.
Turn 10> play Temporous Turn 11 & 12 > opponents ready to kill me on turn 15 Turn 13 (my first turn) > set big board & play second temporous for another 6 damages
Turn 14> opponent turn.
WHAT
THE FUCKING FUCK
Sounds more like spaghetti brain... you gave him the turn back lmao
I feel like I'm going in the wrong direction here since she wouldn't eat the bones (so "juicy" would be off), but Reliquary Seeker?
Battlecry that's helped by having a lot of small/"weaker" minions in a Zoolock deck, a reliquary holds bones, & it has "seek" if that's the missed keyword you mentioned.
Man i'm glad priest is a fringe class right now because Grave Rune and Convincing Infiltrator are the worst things i have ever experienced playing against. And that goes double for when they are combined.
Give me bloodreaver guldan into 7 voidlords anyday.

Wow some absolutely great answers there guys. I've been away so haven't had a chance to reply.
I think doublesummon makes a great point about what's deemed as unfair and to be honest that's what brought me to this question.
Aliradicali also posted something I was thinking about when posting this question.
Milling the opponent is a valid counter to some strategies and without it there is no threat to players who hold lots of cards. I've been playing an elemental mage recently with that project card and although it's not a mill deck that card sometimes wins the game for me because its countering my opponents strategy.
But why should only few classes be able to do this. Yes rogue is a problem with bounces and is probably what sways the developers to not have neutral multi card draw. But whether you love or hate it. It is surely missing imo
Btw just want to say how great this community is. Very diverse and sensible answers.
Cheers guys for making my journeys more I interesting
Im sticking with the theory that says it should be around the 22th which also makes sense for the new adventure of HS release. Runeterra should return for good before the new 35 cards in HS and thus pull players before the meta shake up on HS
yeah most of the time i never play it unless i know i'm in a control matchup. the problem with this deck and with gonk in general really, is that you're always playing from behind. Quest druid usually can make up for this by playing the choose one cards, that give a lot of value on the turn they are played, helping you swing ahead again, but with the witching hour combo you are limited by playing none of the choose ones that are beasts. I have been experimenting with a dragon gonk druid deck without quest, which plays for tempo and fights for board in order to play gonk on turn seven, but it's pretty watered down, no claws outside the side quests no pounces, i've won the four games i've played with it so far, but i haven't gonked a single person yet. Which is basically a loss in my book.
The biology project is basically a discount floop gloop that'll let you get an extra claw on a combo turn, i thought about ditching it but i've won twice with it while playing it on a combo turn.
I feel Biology Project might be a mistake. Quest Druid has a hard time surviving as is and ramping your opponent really isn't a good idea now that most decks are much more top heavy.
I get that it works great with the quest but I think there's better options
Good job on the paypal option for support. I wanted to start using Patreon but got stuck trying to register (needed my game e-mail account password) and then forgot about it.
Should milling be a genuine supported strategy in standard Hearthstone?

Correct! Well done, you're next
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Anka, the Buried?
Small and weak 1/1s Deathrattle (ie Skull with Bones symbol) minions?
Put Your Faith in Alexstrasza
The deck seems interesting, unfortunately I do not own Nozdormu the Timeless and Frizz Kindleroost, and there are not direct reeplacements. As the deck is heavy cost could be interesting add Tentacled Menace.

Nope. Wrong keyword... and the small/weak minions are kind of a trap. ;-)

Dragon Gonk Druid
Try if you wanna, work in progress tho...
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
You're getting closer, but still no hit. There's a key word in the second line noone has figured out yet.
BoarControl's Galakrond Zoolock
It's very similar to the version I'm using (-1 Mecharoo -1 Dire Wolf Alpha +2 Grim Rally), it has been working very well for me (around Rank 10).

Hungry Dragon?
Battlecry minion who summons a small/weak minion to then eat (hence, "hungry")

Light themes are handy at work, a black website just screams that you're not working (unless you're a developer ofcourse)
