  • Saviors of Uldum - 5 Pack Bundles Giveaway

Definitely Sir Finley of the Sands . Reno Pally is probably my favorite deck atm, and it already have old Finley, so I am instacrafting this if I wont open it form my packs.

  • New Neutral Minion - Siamat

Probably the best legenary of the set. Neutral, flexible in almost every situation, and with an elememntal tag, for what it's worth (Mage and shaman have some tools to make use of that). The first card I will craft if I don't get it in packs.

  • New Neutral Minion - Khartut Defender

Be adding one into my wild rogue mill/noz deck.

  • Saviors of Uldum - 5 Pack Bundles Giveaway

Conjured Mirage, because the effect of the card perfectly suits its flavor, and fits very well into theme of the expansion and its desert landscape setting. It's also the kind of card that will be extremely fun to try and build a deck around, with such a unique effect and strong vanilla stats, and I can't wait to experiment with it!

  • Uldum Legendary Card Reveal - King Phaoris

I hope you are correct, that would be awesome! However, sometimes the mana-cost referrence counts with the original mana cost. For instance, Skulking Geist will destroy 5 mana spell that was originally 1 mana spell (lets say your Prismatic Lens will pull Getaway Kodo and changes the cost to 5). That one gets geisted, if i remember correctly. If you pull Arcane Intellect from Primordial Glyph, then it does not get geisted. Don't ask me why, that is just how I remember it.

I like fishflinger. First it is a good murloc. Second it gives a murloc to each player, and that makes the game a bit more fun because murlocs are always fun. Fishflinger

  • According to gen concious, Hearthstone has become pricer to play? is it true( A F2P player's perspective) Dust wise breakdown.

    Quote From NightCrawler

You missed the point I was making, which was that most players' collections should be fairly similar.  ie - an evenly distributed amount of opened cards, then an amount of crafted cards favoring the more powerful or novel ones.  Some might favor specific classes but the distribution of cards that they specifically craft and the mediocre cards that they open should still be about the same

It's not even about playing "for fun" vs playing competitive decks trying to be a professional player.  Most "fun" cards and decks still require powerful cards to be successful.  For example, pogo and thief rogue uses mostly powerful cards from tempo rogue as a shell to keep themselves afloat in winrate

Also, there's a difference between cards that are bad and cards that are fun.  For example, Madame Lazul is a card that is bad but not fun; discovering an opponent's card is not a novel nor synergistic effect that you can build a deck around and no deck, even creative ones, cease to function if you don't have her.  Gonk, the Raptor is a card that is both bad and fun; the effect irreplaceable and can't be replicated with other cards.  You can build a deck around Gonk to OTK, make him a secondary win condition in other combo druids or tempo him out with witching hour in a beast druid.  Gonk druid won't work if you don't have Gonk

When I crafted Gonk, I was thinking, "Gonk is pretty garbage but I came up with a neat deck idea that requires him," not, "I'm a druid main so I should craft all druid cards in case I want to experiment with them later."  That's the difference between crafting to play and crafting to craft.  I'm not crafting Duskfallen Aviana without a better reason than the fact that I main druid.  What deck can't you experiment with if you don't have two Mindgames or a Chameleos?  There are none.  Maybe some fun synergies will be printed later but there's no reason why you can't craft these when that time comes rather than now and do something else with the dust in the meantime.  Conversely, if synergy is never printed (which is extremely likely given history), you've just wasted dust

You'll have to define a functioning deck more specifically to make those claims. A functioning thief priest must not only function but also be a thief priest to be a functioning thief priest, so while no single card of what you mentioned must be in the deck, they're a part of a set from which something must be in the deck, and they are necessary even if they don't boost the winrate at all above that of a basic deck.

What does this have to do with what people craft, then? Well absolutely nothing, but for exactly the opposite reasons than why you'd think so. You claimed that generally speaking players tend to craft good cards, but I speculate that people aren't crafting these kinds of cards despite that they're better than the ways they do spend their dust in. This statistic is from before the ladder update, but 50% of the active player base was below rank 18 - the point being, there's a lot of casual players and they're a lot more casual than anyone committed enough to be on forums realizes.

  • Uldum Shaman Card Reveal - Splitting Axe

Hmm, good point.  I'll probably still try it out, but I might end up removing it sooner rather than later.

  • Saviors of Uldum - 5 Pack Bundles Giveaway

Dinotamer Brann - I just love King Crush so this will be a fun card!

  • antonidas/jepetto/alexstrasza

I just switched out the research project its hard to play. Added 1x blizz b/c so much freeze synergy and also great for stalling the turn before you use a combo.

  • Legend Wackey Lackey Handlock

Dr. Boom is still the best card in the game I think, making it pretty hard to beat if they get it early. I typically play the deck like a more traditional handlock and go for early Mountain Giant and Sea Giant since they lose value later in the game with Omega Devastator wrecking you. You have to play faster overall since they will win eventually if you can’t kill them. Also make sure to get max potential out of your heals, I always try to magnetize Zilliax. Hope this helps

  • Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Sahket Sapper

This is better on curve than Ticket Scalper, so may see play in some Hooktusk decks. Deathrattle is a downside in this case, but don’t underestimate the power of forcing your opponent to play around the effect

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Wrapped Golem

Agreed, this was my first thought when I saw this card.

  • New Neutral Minion - Jar Dealer

Fire Fly is much better than this, since it has better stats and gives you a specific minion that you can immediately play. While this one still needs to die first, and it gives you a random 1 drop which is on average worse than a 1-2.

  • Saviors of Uldum - 5 Pack Bundles Giveaway

Siamat, because it is so flexible and powerfull midrange card i believe this is gonna be just kike zilia

  • Uldum Legendary Card Reveal - King Phaoris

Interesting. It seems there's gonna be Big Spell decks. I wonder which Class can achieve that.

  • Idea for Genn and Baku Nerfs

    Quote From AliRadicali

I'm well aware that wild has different standards for balancing and a distinct pool of players. I didn't argue that every card that is a problem in standard must be nerfed in wild as well, I said that if a card is so problematic that it has to be HoFed/nerfed in standard it's reasonable to assume that the same logic applies to that card in wild, if not necessarily to the same extent. If Genn and Baku make games extremely predictable and repetitive in standard then it stands to reason the same is true for wild, even if the cards might not be as strong there.

"So problematic" is a lot lighter condition than it sounds like, when Blizzard's philosophy of balancing Standard has been sliding towards tweaking smaller and smaller things, recently even with buffs, in order to keep things fresh. In the light of no such change seen in Wild, I don't think it's reasonable at all to make assumptions like that.

  • Two Uldum Card Reveals - Khartut Defender & Wretched Reclaimer

Well, my point is that [Hearthstone Card (Madam Lazul) Not Found] isn't the only support tool for Thief Priest, and that in fact the problem has never really been support for the archetype because there's lots of it. The problem is a lack of payoffs to make up for the lack of tempo from that support. Where Rogue gets cards like Underbelly Fence, Spectral Cutlass, Obsidian Shard, Vendetta, and Tess Greymane as payoffs for low tempo burgle cards, Princess Talanji is the only major payoff Priest has for that archetype.

I think the thought behind that is that because the cards are not strictly random, but rather random cards from your opponent's deck, the card quality is naturally higher and the payoffs can be lower. Additionally, Priest has lots of AoE to deal with higher tempo decks. That's probably true to a point, but Hearthstone is at its core a tempo game, so these kinds of slow plays mean you need even more powerful plays later, and good AoE on turn 5 is often too little, too late.

You're right that Drakonid Operative was exceptional because it had a vanilla statline and a powerful effect, but it would probably still have been quite good as a 4/6 or a 3/6, or at 6 mana. Crystalline Oracle is perhaps a better example of a Thief Priest card that saw play and was useful both as a stealing tool and a tempo tool.

    Siamat Card Image

This is my favorite cause it's Neautral and very flexible and i i think it will fit in many decks !!!

  • Wretched Reclaimer

I will gladly add it in my wild deathrattle decks. It has nice synergy with Twilight's Call.

  • Uldum Legendary Card Reveal - King Phaoris

Has synergy with Mana Cyclone and Khadgar ,also cost 1 after Luna's Pocket Galaxy . It might see play

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Wrapped Golem

Could almost see it in Making Mummies paladin.  They've already got two taunts in Bone Wraith and Khartut Defender. Wrapped Golem isn't particularly impressive, but you've got to fill out the required minions somehow, and this isn't the worst (slows things down a little, and a decent target for Emperor Wraps if you've completed the quest).

  • Private Messages stopped appearing

    Heya.

So a fellow OOC user and I are chatting via the PM system. 1 hour ago I sent a big post, it appeared on the screen, but when I decided to refresh the page, it disappeared. I was curious about what was going on. I thought a bot could have deleted my post, because it wasn't written in English (Flux warned me about this back in hearthpwn), so I immediately sent another post, this one however just contained the word "test". And I experienced the same issue again - it appeared on the screen, I refreshed the page and it disappeared.

Could it be, that my posts were moved on another page and I am just not able to go there?
