    This legendary is so damn flexible, that's probably his 2nd name 😅This legendary can easily slot into the current burn/freeze shaman but has so many other applications and just thinking about wild... it might break wild. 

    The best effect would probably be the nature spells cost (1) less, but the +2 fire spell damage is nothing to scoff at coz Shaman has a wide array of fire damaging spells.

    I would be very surprised if this legendary doesn't see play.

    The card does plenty of things, but as it stands I struggle to see what the win con is with this card. The supposed idea is that a flexible legendary like this will be auto-include into all decks, but is it really?

    In standard we have only Scalding Geyser as the only burn fire spell available, and the only AoE fire spell already does 10 damage. so +2 fire spell damage comes at an expensive, not premium price of 3 mana.

    Nature spell reduction is good, since a large majority of shaman's spells are nature oriented. But since there's no spell damage, nor a nature draw spell, what is this supposed to accomplish?

    And then there's 3 health per frost spell. You're paying 3 mana + whatever frost spell to gain maybe 6 health. Might as well just play Bracing Cold then. Even Cookie the Cook heals better for less mana.


    Of course everything can change simply by printing a version of Ignite, some kind of nature Cram Session, and perhaps more ways to cheat mana for other spells. Until then this card merely dreams big but accomplishes little.

    Looks good. I'm fairly certain all Shaman decks will run a multicaster package so I doubt that this won't see play somehow. In Freeze Shaman it's basically free healing and occasionally it has some other payoffs as well.


    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

    This is an insane card, this is a must-include for ANY shaman deck. It's also a elemental, so Granite Forgeborn can also discount it. This card is just insanely good.

    Edit: RIP wild. Blizz has to nerf this card already because alongside Unstable Evolution this will break wild. Remember rolling Sorcerer's Apprentice or Radiant Elemental was an insane highroll that stole games? How about getting that reliably as early as turn 3....

    RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

    I like this card, very flexible.

    Let's look at the known spells in standard:


    Don't Stand in the Fire!, Perpetual Flame, Scalding Geyser

    +2 Damage won't matter too much for the first AOE, but they are vital for the latter 2 for changing the health breakpoints. They are low cost too so they can combo well with this card.


    Glaciate, Snowball Fight!, Bracing Cold, Frostbite, Windchill

    The first 2 wont matter much, but combos better with the latter 3. I doubt you will run this for the armor effect alone, but it can definitely help in desperate scenarios when that added health will change the breakpoint.


    Charged Call, Chain Lightning (Rank 1), Bioluminescence

    lol, surprisingly not a lot. Though I'm sure there will be more nature spells in the 2 years this is in standard. Mana reduction is premium in this game. If they print more nature burn spells in the future, this can combo well with Bioluminescence. If you can set up a board prior, drop this, then Bioluminescence, then unload your nature burn spells which have spell damage and are discounted.

    I don't think this will have a very big impact on the meta, but it looks like it could have some fun uses in some niche decks.

    This is a must-include in any Shaman deck. It just packs too much value for 3 mana. The class is teeming with Nature and Fire spells every expansion, and the fantastic Freeze package they got from Alterac Valley all but cements its must-include status. Any spell-heavy Shaman deck will find a way to include this.

    With 3-4 decent Frost spells and Snowblind Harpy, you're going to mass up plenty of armor and decent card draw with up to 4 Windchill ( a la Sleetbreaker).  Nature spells are a plenty with Shaman, and the Fire Spell damage to boot... this is a phenomenal card to have in pretty much any any Shaman Spell build, wild or standard. 

    The only qualm is that to really maximize it's value, it would need to be played later in the game, after you're already played a couple of those valuable Windchills to get through your deck in the first place. With Lightning Bloom having the sun set on it for standard, there doesn't seem to be a way to get a lot of cards played while it is on deck before your opponent targets it right away. 

    That being said, it's still an amazing minion to play.

    Well, most shaman decks run Multicaster so this would fit in niceley ! Pretty sure this will find a way into the meta! Very flexible!

    Synergy with three different spell schools in one card. I'd think this would go best in a deck that uses all three. Not sure what that is right now.

    I really like the flexibility of this minion. Could be good for a burn deck running cheap spells both for its spell damage on Fire Spells, but also because it can give the deck a way to survive against other fast decks with its armor gain. With Fireheart rotating, does this become the 3-Drop Legendary that Shaman fits into most decks? It certainly isn't Fireheart, but perhaps it will do.

    I do like cheap legendary minions, as it opens the door for original combos and getting yourself out of thight spots .. but I also needed to read the card a few times before really getting what its effect was all about; Is it just me or is the wording not really straight forward? Seems like unrelated bits mash together.

    Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :

    With the hopes of stupid Unstable Evolution shenanigans completely aborted, we're kinda left with a Swiss army knife for spells. Decent, but decks dedicated to one thing or another probably will cut this out.

    Super strong and versatile, I can see this card shining, specially in Wild. Very interested to see what comes of it!
