I'm split on this one. On one hand, with just one murloc on the board this is Conditioning rank 2...and it just gets better from there. However, if you have multiple murlocs on the field already how many can you still have in hand? This is just really hard to evaluate without having seen all the murlocs in the core set.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
If theres a massive draw engine, this card will take over the entire meta.
But as it stands, its just a middling card that'll see play for the memes. Murlocs being so frail themselves doesn't help much too. But sometimes you can get a +3+3 on your hand and a tearful smile on your face seeing your opponent get ganged on by bunch of giant fish.
Maybe lock will get a Minion/spell that adds murlocs to hand like Schooling does with piranhas in shaman.
By The Holy Light!
These damn cards are so difficult to evaluate without the new core set 😓 really want to know why the core set reveal was set for after the new card reveals.
Regardless, I highly doubt this will be any good unless we get more draw. And on a side note, having hand buffs for Warlock feels super weird, like this should be a Paladin spell for mechs instead
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This has the potential to ruins everyone's day, given enough Murlocs in the core set and a few new addition to justify playing a fishy-zoo. But like it was said before me, it is hard to evaluate at this point ; could be a hit, could be a miss.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Very powerful card, if warlock has enough draw and murlocs are good at filling board. It's just really draw/reload dependand. Still i think playing Chum Bucket when you have 2-3 murlocs on board is probably enough, because +2/+2 or +3/+3 is to all murlocs in hand seems good enough to me.
Also i wouldn't be surprised to see a "Summon a copy of this minion" murloc printed for warlock. Also we only know 5/12 cards, so there might be a little bit more support. Probably about 2-3 more murlock cards, if it's going to be a 50/50 split between murlock and Curse/controllock.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Seems pretty good for 2 mana. I think Murloc-Warlock will be very strong.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Handbuff for Warlock, eh? I'm not sure how easy it will be to fill the board with murlocs, but 3-4 of them in play should probably be good enough.
Reminds me of Imprisoned Scrap Imp. Obviously it has to be in Murloc decks, but maaaaaybe Murlock is an actual thing? I'm not buying it. I was super-burned by the idea that Murloc Shaman was going to be good in Barrens, and they had incredible tempo Murlocs like Flurgl and the guy that deals two damage. You're not getting me again Blizzard! (OK, I'll try to make Murlock a thing).
I have spoken.
Just needs one Murloc in play for it to be Conditioning Rank 2. Seems kinda scary.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Pretty crazy card. Murloc Warlock has a nice ring to it, and this makes it all the more insane.
