The only way this card sees play is out of discovers, because its actively competing with other stuff like Flipper Friends, which may well be the better card.
Because while it does grant you either 3/3 taunts or 12 armor, both aren't particularly valuable because they dont grant initiative, one of the main reasons why rush is usually better than taunt, unless against burn decks.
But of course, if you care about the armor, then why not? Crypt Keeper is likely going to see play and that card need more activators. This is one such card, which aside from that can also play defense with tempo.
Nice flexibility if you don't need the armor, although I do feel the 3/3 taunts are pretty lackluster for the cost you're paying. It'll most likely see play in this new armor druid archetype or off of random card generation.

That was also my train of thought; the 12 armor seems more valuable to enable major discount for Crypt Keeper and the new stuff. If I wanted to populate my board instead, cost for cost, I'd go for Flipper Friends instead. Unless, you know, Fandral Staghelm

Hmm this is a... difficult card to judge. It seems decent for getting the 12 armor + cheat Crypt Keepers out, but at the same time i dont know if most druid decks need it. Fandral Staghelm is in the core set, and there is a bunch of choose one synergy already. Raid Negotiator, Pathmaker and Pride Seeker are still in standard, which might help make this card work. But i still don't know if running a choose one package will be good enough.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I wonder if this might make you wanna run Fandral or the Choose one Discover guy just because it's a very powerful combined play.
Either way, maybe just stacking armor is good enough because of Anub'rekhan

It was awful.
I would think you would choose the armor in almost all cases, especially if you have Anub'Rekhan handy, but if you need board presence more, the taunts are certainly a strong choice.
How hard is it for Druid to get to 5 mana? This with Jerry Rig Carpenter is kinda fun. Too bad it's not a Nature card though
Man, both of these options are terrible. Branching Paths is a better card

Seems solid enough. Not sure it'll be played, but it'll be nice to get from discover effects for that extra health, at least.
