Well, it's known that Uldum expansion is about Highlander decks. Since Hunter is chosen for Highlander archetypes, with revealed cards, I thought: Why not Reno Spell Hunter? It will make sense if you follow the guide. Let's track down the forgotten spells, shall we?
HOW TO PLAY?
With Uldum, some tools were added to the arsenal of Spell Hunter in Wild. Thus, a perfect 30-card combination is done. Let's see some cards as to why Reno Spell Hunter is great. I will start with new cards:
- Pressure Plate: Deadly Shot as Secret variant. I like that.
- Hunter's Pack: Three cards for three mana, and you thought 5-Mana Nourish was broken? This card is insane.
I will add cards from Uldum expansion whenever revealed or if needed. For now, let's check other cards:
- Master's Call: Either tutor Reno Jackson for heal or Subject 9 to draw Secrets. You have six Secrets, so you will nearly draw all of them if you pick Subject 9.
- Lock and Load: Refill your hand with shenanigans. There are endless ways to do that, so give it a try. You won't regret it, I assure you.
- Zul'jin: Your ultimate value-train. With new cards, he will act like Rhok'delar in this deck for sure.
You may noticed I didn't include these cards:
- Tracking: I don't like discarding my tools.
- Unleash the Hounds: It's not good to see Zul'jin summoning 1/1 dogs.

Note the archetype: It's Spell Hunter. Sure, Spell Hunters don't put any minions in their decks but this is different: It's based on singleton decks, so Reno is a-must for heal. As for Subject 9, it's a supreme card-draw. In short, any minions other than them seem irrelevant to me. Adding more minions will prevent from Rhokdelar activating as early as possible. However, that doesn't mean you aren't welcomed to add these minions, only to fail in the long run.

This is a cheating spell hunter deck but a true singleton/highlander deck. This is a very interesting hybrid. I too wanted to include Dinotamer Brann but your argument makes sense. I am use to seeing Barnes/old god combo but this is a good mix.

I'm aware, but you are running all of two cards that require spells (the weapon and to my side). You are running Subject Nine and Reno, so you're already more likely than not going to get clogged up until the late game where you've drawn more of your deck. Rather than running terrible cards like Lock and Load, I think you are better off running some more high powered minions. I guess what I'm saying is spell hunter in reno fashion isn't a strong concept, so you should just shift this to more of a proper reno.

Until it's tested, we can't be so sure of it.

Hmm... You've no idea, really: In Spell Hunter, it's the best card due to potential of cycling your spells into something more useful, just like Mana Cyclone.

That's your decision for Reno Spell Hunter, I respect that. For me, it's worth testing, and I will when new expansion launches. As for proper Reno Hunter decks, I made this deck and this deck, so I know the basics.

The whole introduction makes no sense. You can play Spell-Reno Hunter without the new expansion, because you don't play the new Brann. And the new two spells are really good in this deck, but for real: When you write THIS:

Indeed, you are correct. One can play Reno Spell Hunter without new expansion but I don't understand why you want new Brann like Aurin. As for what I wrote for introduction, I intentionally specified for Highlander decks and not new Brann. Uldum expansion, in general, is meant to revive Highlander archetypes. Thus, the introduction makes sense.
I'm sorry that my introduction wasn't clear enough. Thanks for the feedback though, I will be more clear next time. I hope you will test this deck like me and enjoy every single bits of it.

Don't get me wrong! I like the whole Highlander Archetype and now I know what you mean. When i look to the new 3 mana spell for Hunter it's clear, that this is for the Highlander decks!
I will test this deck for sure, because i love Spell Hunter and Reno decks! Maybe i will try out the new Brann, but I think you are right, it will make the deck more inconsistent. Maybe I won't play subject 9, because i didn't craft the card yet.
