Hmmm... I'd say hpmor.com is pretty fast paced :)

I'm also currently reading the 5 books Demon Cycle by Peter V. Brett which is just awesome. There are some cutbacks now and then to explain the protagonists' origins as well as slower parts where changes in society take place, but it never gets boring, there's always some action going on. Big recommendation for everyone who likes to read magical fantasy away from the usual spell casting stuff.

Next in line, I've finally given in and gifted myself with the Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear. A colleague convinced me it was worth it to read them even without much hope for the last volume to be released soon.

Happy to hear that! Flux told me a decision about how to proceed with the series will be made next week after the holidays. I'm looking forward to checking out your deck!

Not my best idea ever, but I've wanted to try my hands at a working Flame Leviathan for some time.

    I like it. Nice idea!

    Wailor
Solid effect and Christmas flavor! Nice one :)

    AeroJulwin
Nice idea, but I think you need to add "card" after "duplicate". I like how this is both a strong tool for Control decks and hits the flavor on spot at the same time. Great work!

Bit late for my own party, but work has been busy for a few weeks now. Here's my idea:

I'm still undecided if it should be a Rare or an Epic and if it should cost 4 or 5 mana. The 5 Cost version would mean a Flamestrike and a free Fireball when you're at 7 Mana which seemed a bit too mediocre so I went with the 4 Cost version for now. What makes this really hard to balance though is Hot Streak. The most extreme scenario would basically be a Fireball and a free Flamestrike (Hot Streak into Fiery Lessons = 2 Mana) which might be okay since nobody cares about board presence anyway. I'm looking forward to your feedback!

I like the owl / wisdom flavor. Cost increase in Druid feels a bit off though. 4 stars for the Battlecry version. I don't like the Deathrattle iteration though, sorry.

    Nirast
I was considering doing something similar to your second version with my card, but Mage already has too many AOE cards. Going down the Breath of the Infinite road is tempting for this comp, but overall I like your first version more right now, if only because I don't see a connection between a Fire combo and protecting your own minions. Are they building a camp fire to find shelter from the hail? Maybe you could go full Frost and make it a Frost Combo with a damage increase?

    R
I'm sorry but I don't get the flavor of the first card. If you choose to go with this, there's a typo in "Corrupt" and you'll lose points if you don't add a second card for the corrupted version (which is nearly impossible because of the art). The Fire spell looks more interesting. I like that one.

    Wailor
Very hard to decide because both are cool. The Rogue card is one of that simple but very cool designs, but the Mage minion has more potential as you've described yourself. My guess is that the Rogue one has a better chance to get high ratings because you know what you can expect from the card at the first glance.

    BasilAnguis
Both are cool, but I agree that the Priest card is useless without the Combo activator so making it a minion might be a good alternative. That said, the Mage card looks super nice! Already my favorite concept so far, it just needs a little polish - basically what the others said: maybe only draw one card, freeze one enemy minion, or increase the cost.

    AeroJulwin
Solid card, nothing to critizice here. Well done!

    Me0203
The Murloc somehow doesn't appeal much to me. The Warlock card is much better, but as the others have already said, repeating the Battlecry isn't the most creative approach. I do like the suggestion to word it "Battlecry and Shadow Combo" though, that might help hiding the repetition a bit and is already established in the game.

A lot has been said about the amount of OTK decks in this tournament and the meta in general, but I'd like to add one more piece to the pile: The final Demon Hunter mirror match that decided the World Championship was completely decided by draw RNG. I'm no particular fan of any of the two contestants but I felt sorry for Glory right from the mulligan. He did an awesome job making the best out of his draws, but that just isn't enough when Yogg favors your opponent.

Interesting side note for the Wild community: Salhet's Pride now tutors Alliance Bannerman.

Congrats to linkblade91! And it wasn't even a Paladin card! :P

    Jokes aside, cool idea :)

Feedback at last, sorry for being late!

    DestroyerR
I like your general idea but this is too weak by far to be worth the draw back. I'm also not sure if Mage is the right class, there's not much flavor in any direction so you might as well make it a Neutral.

    BloodMefist
My favorite card so far. Very cool!

    Wailor
Interesting flavor though I have to admit I'm not a big fan of the pizza art piece. You managed to find a very fitting effect for it and the foreshadowing of Honorable Kill is a really nice addition that you should definitely mention in your description box. I'd go with the rare version that increases the cost of one card.

    R
Plus 1 point for creativity since you are the only one in this thread who went down the Hero Power road. Other than that, judging the balance is pretty hard since there's a delay, but it lacks Baku's deck building restriction. I tend to vote OP though.

    BasilAnguis
This is genius and at the brink of being too complicated at the same time. I can guarantee 4 stars from me but will have to think some more about adding the fifth as well. Great work! (The name is a bit bulky as well)

    Demonxz95
The Golem would have been fine a few years ago but doesn't make the cut for me these days. Clock Tower Guard is okay but too niche to be really interesting. The Hunter card has a lot of combo potential without necessarily encouraging OTK builds too much. I definitely like that one the most out of the three.

Got a weird idea, not sure if this is the right way to phrase the text or balance the card. Feedback would be very appreciated, I'll try to reciprocate ASAP.

Congrats to BloodMefist, looks like we got tied!

That's the third out of my four wins that is a card for a competition about new keywords (Spellburst, Frenzy, Honorable Kill) and the fourth was technically a new mechanic as well (mounts) :D

You're very obviously perfectly free to do and say what you want, but so is everyone else and with that controversial ideas to begin with and the way you express them on top of that, you really shouldn't be surprised about getting so much negative feedback.

I do agree to some extent that it feels underwhelming when new archetypes don't immediately take off after they're released. But:

    1) Don't forget the roation cycle. This is the last expansion of this year so completely new stuff will naturely have a hard time against archetypes that got support throughout the whole cycle so far. Sometimes things come to together two or three expansions later.

    2) For some people, figuring out what works and what doesn't is part of the fun. It's no challenge and therefor less rewarding to put together "robot decks" as you call them on day 1 and go down a mirror match spiral of doom. Remember that we are only one week into the expansion yet, it takes some time to figure things out. My personal take is that they should completely abolish the theorycraft stream with the pros by the way.

    3) As others have already pointed out, not every archetype is supposed to be competitive. Unfortunately, Burgle Rogue is one of them.

    4) Try to tune it down a bit. I certainly know how it feels when you perceive an injustice and people rush to defend that perceived injustice on top of that. Yesterday's Formula 1 finals did that for me when my wife defended everything about Verstappen and I flat out told her she wouldn't come to the same conclusions if the roles were reversed. It ended with me leaving the room because I didn't want to spoil the race for her (she's the fan, I'm most certainly not). What I'm trying to say is: Sometimes we should just agree to disagree and move on. Just keep things polite.

I did the research yesterday and played it against a Pirate Warrior who got the Juggernaut online pretty early. It took some time, but I actually managed to outvalue him in the end. Galakrond was not fully upgraded when I had to play him, both Macaws had to be played with a weak but necessary battlecry so I only got one Shudderwock turn. And it still worked out!

All in all it looks like Pirate Warrior has gotten into trouble. Handbuff Paladin has a decent chance against them as well, they just can't deal with a 20/20 Saidan the Scarlet and Shadowburst Priest has already had a decent winrate against Garrosh before Alterac hit.
