Sorry guys for being absent throughout all the month, but the reveal season *really* drained all the free time I usually dedicate to content creation, to the point where I didn't have time to try out the challenge myself either.
Definitely a shame, but it do be like that sometimes.
I congratulate with everyone that decided to join Master Duelist 1.4 and take a shot at the challenge, as well as to those who achieved great results and shared them with the rest of the community.
I will now go over each submission and check if the criteria are met, and then I'll upload the results in the database so that you'll receive your well-earned mentions and rewards.
The next challenge of Master Duelist has already been decided, and will start as usual at the 10th of the month. While I shouldn't say anything about the theme... make sure to enjoy the new expansion!
I feel like most of these new tier 1/2 Passives would be sooo much better if Team 5 were to remove some of the old powerhouses that at this point are just limiting the design space.
Namely, I am talking about Fireshaper, Battle Totem and stuff like that, which can't be easily topped as they're simple but extremely consistent.
Imagine going to be after writing an article and feeling good about it, only to wake up and see it become quite irrelevant due to the latest reveals: that has to be a reeeally bad feeling, huh?
Mantle of Ignition definitely has some potential: casting a spell two additional times is just too good to be ignored.
If your Hero Power is Frost Shards, I'd say you could try Spice Bread Baker. Armor Vendor: is quite useful too!
I don't know if Questine Hunter will be a thing in the upcoming meta, but I have high expectations for the Secret package.

Patch Notes didn't mention it while they did with Arena, so the logic answer is that no, we won't receive any Duels refund ticket.
Not gonna lie: I feel like some of the "old" tools are so strong and consistent that do not let the new toys be as successful as they may be.

That's actually a good question: we haven't received any communication on the matter from Blizzard, so we genuinely don't know.
Next Tuesday there's probably going to be a patch, although we are not aware of its specific content.

Unless I missed something, Purified Shard is not a Holy spell.
I see this as a reverse (and way more proactive) Spreading Plague, for 4 mana and with Rush.
Sure, you have to kill off your 4/2 to summon another one, but if your opponent has just 1-attack minions then you're not in trouble...
This card is bonkers and will be a 2-of in Big Demon Hunter, with high chances to be included in any non-aggressive strategies. Nutty, nutty card.
