Yeah: right after your suggestion I tried another run and went to 12 wins with it - Healing Rain actually gave me the edge against a couple Mind Tether Priest early matches!
So yes, your suggestion did help me a lot! I thought I replied to your post in the salt thread, but I may have done it just in my mind lol
AbusingKel - Congrats for the second Priest attempt: the first one really needed some justice! As for the Paladin run, I am afraid to tell you that you did not post your final deck, which does allow me to check if the conditions were actually met.
shaveyou - I am honestly surprised to see a flawless run with such a unique deck: I have never seen something like that even in Constructed. Just. Wow.
Edit: shaveyou, do you have any proof that your run is a 12-0 and not a 12-1 or 12-2? Unfortunately I can see it from the screenshots you uploaded. Please keep it in mind for the future, as I couldn't reasonably accept it when compared to other players' proofs of their 12-0s.
AbusingKel - Yikes: that hurts to see! Your deck wasn't terrible at all, but those early matchups may have been too much for it to handle.
Calenmir - I appreciate you trying to get results with home-brews and memes rather than going for the obvious pick; on the other hand, it's sad to hear you giving up on the challenge: there's still some time if you wanna take another shot at it though. However, if you think you're really done, you should just wait for the upcoming content update and November's challenge!
First of all, here's my submission for this challenge. I took my N'Zoth Warlock from before and adapted it a bit to be more greedy and... 9 wins. Not the greatest result so far, but I am pretty proud of it since I managed to mess around with lots of cards that don't usually see play.
BennoFN - At long last, it appears you manage to upload the proof of your run. Congrats for the result and for the rather unusual inclusions like Mad Scientist and Kel'Thuzad.
ferretti - Aww yes: Deathrattle DH - that's what I am talking about! I am a huge fan of it and I am glad you were able to get to 12 wins with it!
Aventurin - Congrats for both runs, one better than the other! Seems like you really enjoyed that Token Druid: 10 wins in Heroic are no joke.
BennoFN - That "Source" is there because you actually have to upload your pictures somewhere else before importing them here. For example, I usually upload them on Imgur and then include them in my posts with the "insert/edit image" command.
Calenmir - Very sorry to read that: 9 wins is a rather acceptable result, but I definitely understand your tilt - I probably would've acted the same way. However, I am quite confident you'll be able to top that result in the future!
AgentCroque - Sweet Heroic run! How did that Deathrattle Shaman run go?
Haffax733 - Already a flawless 12er? Wow. I knew Death Games Deathrattle Hunter would've produced great results in this challenge, but I didn't expect them to some so soon - congratulations for the performance!
With that Warlock deck I went 6-3: Manastorm stole quite a few wins, but then a double Battlecry Pirate Warrior killed me after a sequence of really unfortunate draws...
Since the score is so low, I didn't bother making screenshots and stuff.
For the Priest deck, I have to say that it may be heavily unrefined, so don't take my starting XV as untouchable: in fact, it should be the other way around!
Since I don't want to reach 12 wins with the obvious picks, I am trying to make some form of Demon Deathrattle Warlock work.
This is the list I came up with so far. Archwitch Willow seems like a solid inclusion, but I do not own it and I am not strong enough to craft it, especially since its days in Standard are numbered.
I included as much healing as possible in order to compensate for the rather high curve and to withstand the impact against the very aggressive decks that dominate the early matches. Tamsin Roame may be a good inclusion, but I wasn't able to make enough space for it.
The first Passive Treasure I picked was Robe of the Apprentice (more AoE damage for School Spirits and more recovery with Drain Soul), while I am yet to pick the second one. Immediately after, I got offered a second N'Zoth, the Corruptor, but had not early game at all and I lost to a Secret Hunter (yep, you read that right...).
Then I proceeded to get offered and pick Manastorm, as well as a heavy big Demon bucket, and now I am going to scam so many games on turn 3. I also have Blade of Quel'Delar, so assembling Quel'Delar would be HUGE.
Greetings everyone, and welcome to the submission thread of third challenge of Master Duelist!
General Information
This challenge will begin today, October 10th, and will end on October 31st. During this window of time, you'll have to start a Duels run with a starting deck containing at least 7 Deathrattle cards. Moreover, Signature Treasures and Weapon count as well!
Everyone who'll post proof of a 7+ wins run in this article's comment section will be awarded with a different amount of gold, an in-site currency you'll be able to earn from different activities and that will be used to purchase cosmetics in our in-site shop.
Submission Rules
In order for your run to count towards the challenge, you'll have to provide an appropriate proof of your feat; otherwise, your result won't count. To be precise, you will have to reply to this forum thread including:
a picture of how your run ended;
a picture of your starting deck;
a picture(s) of your final deck.
any other information you want: even though it's not necessary, it may help other players or generate a discussion!
you can submit as many runs as you want: we'll always pick the best one. Don't be afraid to show what you experimented with: let's start a discussion here!
Remember that we have to make sure you actually played following the rules, so please help us in doing so - disqualifying players feels bad, and we'd want to avoid it if possible! No exceptions will be made.

Time Criteria
Those which follow are the time criteria we'll use to determine the winner in case of identical scores:
An Heroic run will be considered more difficult than a Casual one, therefore Heroic players will have the priority.
If you get the best score overall with a 10-wins run in Casual and somebody else gets a 10-wins run in Heroic, the latter will be the winner of the challenge.
In case of more people getting the same score, the winner will be decided by the submission time.
If more players will get to 12 wins, losses will count as well: a 12-0 will be considered better than a 12-2 or a 12-1.
You could get the highest score on the first day as well as on the last day of the challenge, but if someone submits the same score before you do, then they'll be the winner.

I agree on every single point you made - such a good card.

I like the whole Passive Treasures’ revamp, but I am so triggered to see that Mind Tether Priest is still left unchecked. Fuck that deck.
also Diablo looks sooo nutty.
I'd bet my money on today or tomorrow.
Possibly today, since Blizzard likes making announcements on Thursdays but... they're kind of unpredictable these days.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
You don't have to feel like you're 'that person': in the end, your observation is legit.
Although I don't have enough information to actually provide you (all) an answer, I am confident enough to say that time will bring all the answers.
I do not own Awaken the Makers (I started playing a few expansions later), but I am seriously thinking about crafting it for this challenge.
If anyone adds N'Zoth, the Corruptor to their starting deck, they'll gain nothing but my humble respect.
We don't like going for the obvious choices: we always root for the underdogs!

Aww, that's so kind of you. Thanks for the support: seeing this much interest into the Duels content I create makes me so proud.
Really, thank you a lot for your words <3
Yes! That's what I am talking about!
Well player :)
