First of all, thanks for reading the whole thing <3
Secondly, no: the Easter egg is quite elaborate. It's not scammy like small characters or anything, but I guess there may be *ehm* *ehm* language barriers for some of you...
For what concerns the first point you're totally right, but we are as well. We said that Druid and Hunter share big Beasts synergy. On the other hand though, they also share the ability to go wide with tokens/small beasts, thus the prediction of some sort of Swarm support. We're both on the same page, it's just that you may have misread that line.
For the second point, Wildclaw is more flexible than you think: yeah, King Krush is the flashy finisher that everyone thinks about, but Highlander Hunter can easily shift towards a more Beast-based build with some good (upcoming?) support. Even just a 3 mana 3/3 with a slight upside like Rush (Diving Gryphon), Deathrattle (Mok'Nathal Lion, Augmented Porcupine) or a conditional effect (Phase Stalker) can be good enough if well timed in the game. In the end we're talking about Highlander decks, which are all about flexibility. Finally, consider that using Wildclaw on Zixor would turn off both your Dinotamer Brann and Zephrys the Great, which is not a wise choice: it is indeed a cool and value-wise wonderful combo, but maybe it will see consistent application in a non-highlander build or, more probably, when all the no-duplicate cards will be rotated in 8 months.
I can relate to so much of this! When I first started playing the game I didn’t know what net decking was, and I avoided the ladder. I missed many months of card backs because I only played casual thanks to ladder anxiety. I only have two golden heroes (hunter and warlock) which belies how long I have been a daily player.
Now I don’t worry about rank or falling on the ladder, and I want to work towards 500 wins on all the other classes. The grind is brutal!
I also really want to get the 1000 win Gul’dan. I think it’s my favorite art in the game.
I agree. 1000 win Gul'dan is the best portrait art in the game.
Thekal is one of those legendaries that are good but are not essential. This unit gives you the opportunity to dramatically increase your life total in case you hit an early Reno Jackson (which is something every Highlander decks wants to do): being at 60-ish life is good versus both aggro and Reno Priest/Quest Mage. Moreover, you have the Molten Giant highroll combo for the early control of the board.
But again, if the question is "can I play with deck without Thekal?" my answer is definitely yes: go ahead and include any other card you deem useful (SN1P-SN4P? Time Out!?).
Yeah, Beardo is definitely the most efficient way to pull off the combo (and yes, you need a turn of setup with Emperor Thaurissan) but, as you said yourself, it's not the only way.
Keep in mind that these are fun decks, but they're definitely not tier 1 lists, so if you miss some Legendaries that don't see much play outside of these builds (Beardo for example is good only with Uther of the Ebon Blade: the card doesn't see play anywhere else) and you're hesitant, my suggestion is to keep your dust and wait for something more performing to pop up.
However, if the only thing you care about is fun, then go ahead and try some Hero Power shenanigans: in the end it's all up to you.
To be honest I had the exact same question when I found the list online: I guess Magic Trick does the trick (pun intended), but I can see a world where you swap out a copy for Evocation.
Let's just say that this build is a little more budget friendly lol
Does anyone know what is the pity timer for golden epics?
not sure there is any pity timer on golden cards.
I'm quite sure there is: I even saved a page on Blizzard's forums but then it got taken down without me thinking about writing those informations somewhere else...
That was just a fancy way of mine (and others) to write the captions: you can do it too!
Here's what to do:
1) as always, write the card's name and click the "Card" square;
2) the usual card code is [card.]CardID or Name[/card.] (added dots to make the code appear in the post);
3) add text="what you want to be highlighted" in the first square like this: [.card text="Rag"]CardID or Name[/card.];
4) there you go.
It's a pretty cool way to shorten long names of famous cards or to just meme a bit.

Greetings,

Well there's Cobalt Spellkin, which also generates the new Nature Studies.
That 10 mana spell is something.
People (including myself) are already dreaming of early Kael'thas Sunstrider shenanigans, which is totally fair.
With this spell, even a medium sized Druid can quickly become a Big Druid.
The only non-refunded one is regular Galakrond (Golden Galakrond, on the other hand, is eligible for dust refund).
We're on the same page
Shadow Gul'Dan is cool and all, but please.
Name a bigger upgrade.

Well, that's an issue with Paladin as a whole right now.
At least Libram of Wisdom, you have some resources that you can cycle over time.
Come on I can't be the only one interested in this thread!
Just hit 1000 wins with Priest! Raza the Chained is one hell of a card.
Glad to see that you enjoy them!
I see a world where Fel Summoner synergyzes with Rocket Augmerchant for the instant proc... but DH will need a helluvalot of support to get there...
Feast of Souls has potential to be an extremely good card, but the fact is that Demon Hunter has too few tools to be able to exploit it.
Those Illidan aficionados out there will have to give it time and see what the new set will bring us.
I feel you bro, I hate that unit so much. It is so good with so little support.
If you manage to have Arcane Cannon and go first you're almost guaranteed to not lose your entire early game.
More like Tanaris Pogchopper

Quite an off topic but not totally.
