As much as I enjoy me some deathrattle rogue, I do believe the support isn't there yet. There's only 12 rogue class cards that are deathrattle specific: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/cards/rogue?has_mechanics=5&collectible=yes&standard=yes so I do think tempo rogue with a small deathrattle package will be more successful. Burgle + deathrattle will be far too inconsistent I believe.
Unfortunately I do think the current bleed rogue will be superior than deathrattle and burgle 😓 happy to be proven wrong.
I do hope freeze shaman is going to be good, it'd be so funny if it becomes a tier S tyrant coz then we can all bring out our dated freeze shaman memes from KotFT. The freeze mechanic is quite a painful experience, especially if you're a weapon based deck like weapon rogue, pirate warrior or DH. It can be compared to immune in a sense if you exclude direct damage spells.
I'm not understanding the synergy with Teron Gorefiend and Najak Hexxen. Wouldn't Najak give the minion back if killed via Teron? And the second Najak deathrattle would whiff as there's no minion to give to the opponent.
Lots of achievable achievements, similar to the Stormwind ones. There are more "win game" ones than previous expansions but the requirements aren't hard at all.
Bare in mind, there are 6 achievements that require you to play specific hero cards.
Definitely looking forward to control warrior. Being forced to play pirate warrior just to get wins isn't a fun experience at all. It's more a chore. I'm sure even old synergies like Lord Barov and Rancor can be great in control warrior. Lord Barov + Iceblood Garrison will be a sweet combo too.
Rotating set format - So many ppl like this idea and I'm sure blizzard have stats for this coz there's some Brawl Block Tavern Brawls that have had this exact format in the past, see:
Blizzard's usual excuse is they don't want players to have to re-build their decks every time the sets change. Which I find is a BS answer as it's part of the experience. For eg: we get TGT, MSoG, WotOG and DoD this month, that's awesome! Lets see what new combos or meta decks can be made just with these cards! Entire sets like TGT can finally be used instead of getting virtual dust sitting in the collection.
My favorite idea would be having all the hero card expansions like KotFT, RR, WW, DoD, BDP and FAV all together so we can see which hero cards are the best.
Definitely crafting Lightforged Cariel if I don't get her in packs. As for big paladin itself. I think it'll be much more consistent if you include Vanndar Stormpike.
I'll probably test the interaction, but having a big spell like Rune of the Archmage reduced in cost via many means, it won't be duplicated via Arcane Brilliance, right? Or would the original cost of the spell be taken into consideration? If not, then I highly double Arcane Brilliance will see much play at all, even though I love the value.
An older non-evergreen keyword will be making a return in the future.
There's a few keyword that fit this:
Adapt - Was pretty fun and I'm sure can be used in other themes, I'm sure not only beast can adapt right?
Inspire - The effects would need to be much better than in TGT
Echo - This mechanic was abused in some circumstances but the entire expansion didn't showcase the mechanic well enough.
Magnetic - Probably one of the best mechanics and I know Dean and several devs really enjoying designing this mechanic. This one will probably be the keyword they talking about.
Twinspell - Wasn't bad, but Echo is just way better right?
Pretty great card backs all round. The flavor text on Take the Cake card back says it all. When I first saw it, I assumed it would be February's card back coz it looks Valentines day related.

The stall will be real this expansion.
it's there in the 2nd table. A bit misleading as the 2nd table say the achievements don't reward XP, but it's just typo

Awesome word search to get hyped up for the expansion 🤩

Theorycrafting Druid in Forged in the Barrens
Totally understandable copy pasta 😁
Great review though, excited to finally play beast druid, it's been a long time coming.

Corny but cute at the same time. This would have been a great ad when HS was originally released back in 2014.
PC gamer also had an interview with him: https://www.pcgamer.com/garry-kasparov-is-diamond-5-in-hearthstone-but-reckons-if-i-make-a-push-i-can-go-to-legend-rank/
Great write-up on each of the new passives. Keen to see the 12-win decks that use them
Good thing this was in bold:

Well... found this funny, it's not even that mean 🤣🤣🤣
Now Blizzard just needs to sell these scarfs in the blizzard gear shop to make even more money!
Was this the first pack you opened?
