I don’t believe that there’s a pro-Legendary bias - I’ve been playing a ton of Galakrond Priest and I get no shortage of non-Legendary minions.

That said, I can’t recall ever seeing it generate Invoke minions (Fate Weaver or Disciple of Galakrond), and as far as I’m concerned that would be a bug. It’s common to omit these kinds of build-arounds from random pools, and I know there’s a post here saying I’m wrong about these being omitted, but I can’t recall ever getting either after well over 100 games with Galakron

It's there. I've gotten both of them from Invoke effects before.

Flavor texts for the DoD Cards:

Nick of Time - It's not like Jane of Time or Mark of Time.
Dragon Summoner - He getting ready to summon a white dragon with blue eyes.
Dimensional Explorer - He made the jump from 2 dimensions to 3 dimensions quite well.
Nebulon's Call - Just leave a text instead.
Astral Wyrm - Not to be confused with "Astral Worm".
Cosmic Breath - It does not taste milky.
Observe the Cosmos - "That one looks like a planet. That one looks like a star."
Hour of Twilight - Because "3,600,000 milliseconds of Twilight" doesn't have the same flow.
Dragonlord Rakuen - Sounds like a move in Street Fighter.
Nebulon, Aspect of Space - Do you like his style?

I was actually going to make this topic on the 23rd as my all time favorite video game has a release date anniversary on that day.

Oh wow! Some of these cards look like they can get very much out of hand.

I had a better winrate with Elspeth, but both decks seem quite well balanced against each other.

I think the event was really fun, and so were the games I had.

Your DoD set seems pretty sick. Even if Galakrond has an even more random-chance ability than the Warlock one, it's like a hundred times more fun too. It may not be the strongest Galakrond, but it definitely seems like the most fun one to play.

Ancient Swipe seems like a strictly better Seal Fate (except for the fact that Seal Fate can target an undamaged hero), but that isn't exactly the strongest Galakrond Invoker, so the power level is fine. Blackrock Cultist also may be a worse Shield of Galakrond if you don't meet the requirement, but it is even stronger than Corrupt Elementalist when you do.

It's also a bit of a "soft rule" that Secret classes never get more than 1 Secret in a set except Classic (or Rogue in K&C), but this is a very obscure soft rule that I imagine very few people know about it, so I don't blame you. The exact same soft rule used to exist to weapons, and as of RR, they've broken that rule a few times (if you don't count the Legendary weapons from K&C as breaking the rule, which I personally do not).

Nefarian also looks like a really fun Legendary.

    Overall, great job.

Eidolon of Philosophy kinda looks like he's flipping someone off.

This is fairly common in custom cards, but there are a few problems that affect this idea. Namely, there's what CursedParrot said about how there's very little space on the tribal tag on any card. Just "Elemental" by itself already takes up pretty much the entire space it has. This same thing also affects some preceding cards though, namely the fact that Patches would be a "Demon/Pirate", the phoenixes could be classified as "Beast/Elemental" (if the tribes were to go in alphabetical order) potentially (as could Arcanosaur). If Captain Cookie were to ever make it into the game, he'd most likely be tagged as a "Murloc/Pirate". I do believe that Team 5 has probably experimented with this idea multiple times, but for right now, the Amalgams are a very easy way of accomplishing the same base purpose.

I do believe that adding or taking away tribes will become a thing at some point, as once again, I think Team 5 has most likely tried it in some capacity at this point. I'm not sure what the biggest problem with it is though other than just possibly "awkward implementation" and the requirement of tribal synergy to be prominent in order to work.

I feel like the front page is trying to tell me to get back into MTGA.

Well, there's only 16 minutes left before the set releases, so you better think fast.

And that's not even including the tokens, or the adventure modes that come with the sets. It's kinda crazy.

I thought of doing the same thing with Prophet Velen and Holy Smite, although Desert Obelisk sounds much more memey. Definitely excited to try out.

Congrats to all the winners of the 60-pack bundle. We're so close to the new set, I can almost taste it.

Also to all of the runner-up winners and everyone who received an exclusive title, sounds badass too.

Oh, then the card is a lot better than I thought it was, although because it's a tech card that only works against 1 class for the most part, it's still a bit "eh" on its playability.

Thunderhead says "after", meaning it will summon the Sparks after Storm's Wrath has resolved, so the Sparks won't get buffed. That said, as a 1 mana Overload card with only 1 Overload, it's still a good way to trigger the effect even if the Sparks don't get buffed, and it's still a good card.

The card itself is okay, but it has weird anti-synergy with Galakrond himself since you don't want to draw this with its Battlecry as it essentially wastes the discount.

Actually, Mecha'thun Priest used it, although the Combo with it was unaffected by the change so you're probably right..
