you can dupe this guy while giving it +2/+2, you can have it swarm the board with the basic totems.. for vessina as said.. or you can also dupe it with totem splitter..
seems like a fun card tbh.. kind of expensive and slow but it can be fun to play with.
Seems insanely good for me, nice reload for aggro, while being a way to really ruin the opponent's day (maybe) if they have a big hand.. or maybe you just made them draw an answer to your board.
If you tap 3 turns in a row it's 5 mana 8/8, definetly not mountain giant but late game it is, control lock could use 0 mana 8/8s.. Shadow flame, defender of Argus, sunfury protector, like og hand lock.. Twilight drake is still a thing.. Well mountain giant isn't this replaces the card.
Really like this card seems really good on power level if you discard it you get a bonus but it's not a 3/3 it's good enough to play for 2 as well (There's still some sacrificial tools in zoo.
reminds me of Spiteful Summoner(mostly due to statline + reward) but no deck restriction.. sure no 10 drop but you can get a 5 attack weapon and get a huge swing only for 4 mana..
Seems very powerful, can punish reckless positioning, can be played around but even then it is probably still powerful, specially cause mage has varying damage ranges (mostly thanks to the hero power)
Seems too expensive as a combo component it's mostly not gonna survive a turn (has high HP but has HYPER taunt (Except when enemy has lethal)).
most board wipes are more expensive than 5, so comboing is gonna be hard also this need to survive the spell to activate, so the aoe can't be hagatha's scheme if it's more than 5. oe earthquake..
probably mostly good with mage or priest, he is a good res target but he also pollutes your res pool.
Dunno too slow for the current meta but it might change.
This seems so much worse than priest, yes you got more ways to cheat stuff, but you got worse survival tools and inconsistent minion cheating, there's also hagatha's scheme as a bad result, dunno I can see it working but it seems more fun.
I honestly have conflicting feelings about the card.
It's pretty cool idea to incorporate the board type into the game, but at the same time... it isn't.
I just played my first match with Transfer Student in my deck, and I know I cannot make assumptions based off of one game, but the fact that it only took one game to find an example of my concerns kind of proves my point.
I slid a copy of Transfer Student into my Highlander Hunter list. I queue into a Druid, which I correctly assume is a Spell Druid on the DoD board.
I had Transfer Student in my mulligan (the game really wanted me to try the new card), giving me a 2 mana Discover a Dragon on a 2/2 body. Not bad.
Long story short, he curves into Exotic Mountseller on his 7, right as I hit turn 6 to clear his board using the Veranus I discovered from Transfer Student, continue to apply pressure, and win the game.
The entire reason I won that match, is because we were on the DoD game board. I did not draw any other answer to that T7, and had we been on say the Uldum board, I would have lost.
I am fully expecting to see a lot of Trollden videos surrounding this card. People losing matches on Orgrimmar with 2 damage going face etc etc.
It may not happen enough to matter, but it will be rather frustrating to lose a game just because of which game board you got stuck with.
stop jumping on your Doomsayers this card doesn't counter control, it can even out card advantage but is control deck always on 8 cards? nah..

You think a legendary card reads that?
I assume he meant using maiev on this card to set up an otk in 2 turns
Seems really really strong to me, any trade you could make, you do it for free, great with rush keyword as well and weapons.. 5/5

does priest even have use for this?
this seems like a zoo card for me.. they are pushing zoo priest but is it good?

Seems good, stronger in warlock than in priest since you can't always activate it in priest but in warlock the worst case it's playable at 6 mana.
both stealth and deathrattle synergy, we didn't see many rogue cards yet.. maybe there's mroe dr or stealth on this set.
seems quite strong in an aggro stealth deck, the deathrattle is 4 random damage that might leave a 4/2 or 4/1 it's quite strong..
It's stronger than the average card.. that's why it's probably a legendary.
7 mana gfor hellfire it's too slow if this is the card you are waiting for to clear the board but Chaos Nova exists, so maybe.. control DH hype?

Huh? Where is that from? Still similar to Harry Potter though kelthudzad- voldermort
Sholomancy is a lighthearted set, it's a Harry Potter setting if anything nothing spooky about it

Or you could have veranus in your deck.
