I hope the introduction of dual class cards pans out better than it did with the tri-class cards in Gadgetzan. Cause boy did failed multi-class mechanics drag down the classes saddled with them. The only one of the Goons classes that survived that power-level massacre was Warrior because screw handbuffing, we got Pirates up in here. And the mechanics that worked out (singleton, Jade Shaman/Druid) made the game feel samey as hell. Every Mage/Warlock/Priest was the same controlly shit with minor card variations (Reno and Kazakus potions were the most impactful cards for the outcome of the game and those stayed constant between the classes) and the only difference between Shaman and Druid was which flavour of green dudes they played: Midrange or Control?
I was kinda hoping they learned their lesson from that. Even if this isn't a complete "tri-class mechanic", if these cards are good enough, they'll appear in both classes all the time. Think "strong neutrals but stronger because class specific". That'll get old fast when 1/5th of the decks you face run the same shit. And that's assuming equal popularity for all classes. It'll more likely be more like 1/4th.
It's totally different this time around, there are not 5 dual classes groups.. some cards are just dual classed, so you won't have a deck with ALL the dual classed card that is the same deck than the other class cause they are spread (there are DH/warlocka and DH/hunter cards) so it's different.
I like that you can purchase a card back for gold. Although you can get it by just beating the Curse of Naxx, who am I to judge. I would like to see some of the other older card backs become available like this
Its a monthly reward not the naxx adventure card back
5 health and it's 4 mana... Might see play in highlander decks i guess? This generally has to survive a turn to make use of it's effect, unless you have a 0-mana spell in your hand. The only deck that MIGHT consider using this is Libram Paladin (Not Pure version, and because of 0 mana Libram of Wisdom) This might replace, or get used alongside [card[Wild Pyromancer? (Even though the Wild Pyromancer + Equality combo is 2 mana cheaper)
Consistency though, you will have more activators.. more pyromancers.. but this actually survives..
there's libram of justice for similar effects to equality +consecration.
they seem to be pushing CW and CW used to play rag (well every deck used to play rag) this is even better (unless you board is full and it's mostly not in CW decks) , it leaves some bodies your opponent needs to take out.. and it's repeatable? and ALSO this can be 2 off?
This card is insane if you can play the control/midrange game with warrior.
You won't see this card played in decks, loatheb is great because it locks out a turn.. this mighj give you a game from time to time but you don't know generally and it's too prediction based such cards rarely see play.
Embiggen buffs stuff in deck this buffs the board, hand and deck.
It's slow but it can be a finisher or cheated out with kaelthas as said by the first 2 commenters.. I think this has potential
seems like druid is gonna get some beasts that probably work well with buffs (seeing the dual class legendary)
Goblin Lackey is the best card (token actually) to compare this to.
and it's actually even favorable to that card.. seems great specially in Magic Carpet decks (Warlock/Paladin)
aoe rush buff? seems powerful when your main way to fight the board are minions.
Those are neutrals, he asked about class cards
"We will tone down rng and resource generation and direct them mostly to mage and priest"
Yeah sure.
aren't his stats really good? also has a dragon tag.. so maybe can be used in highlander mage.
Warsong Commander
jokes aside there's also Fearsome Doomguard (unless you consider his demon tag "text")
This card is quite stong but you can't really build around it being good.. guess overall you are adding this card when you want value/tempo
at least once a game starts you know what he will do, that's less random than the usual HS..
some of those effects are quite insane.. one of them is a 2 mana Arfus

Also win more but it's ok while slightly behind, since it deals 2 instances of 3 damage to random targets.
Now this looks pathetic in comparison to what this cards makes possible XD.
7/3 and a 7/7 cause you are overloading for 6.
I see it was priced at 1 cause it's a "worse" Devolve but devolve is quite an insane card.. so..
I see this card as extremely toxic, I can see it getting nerfed to 2 in the future.
This card seems insane to me it's a really cheap discover card much better than babbling book.
Consistency though, you will have more activators.. more pyromancers.. but this actually survives..

This card is really good like Priestess of Fury and Ragnaros the Firelord

Has bad synergy with other choose one beasts in druid, and the beast tokens they got, the copy effefct seems good for the 7 mana 6/8 beast
has synergy with [Hearthstone Card (embeggen) Not Found] but as far as I know that's not the archtype druid plays currently.
it makes much more sense in hunter, the keleseth effect I mean..
we will need to see what they get to synergize with it.
Unless it's for a combo it's neutral in terms of mana.
are there overload synergies in standard?
now you can play tunnel trogg into 4 mana 7/7 on the same turn(you play 2 of this) in wild..
ben brode junior is done for..
Oh it's also even.. RIP WILD.

5/5 in arena, decent stats and maybe disruption.
1 mana 1/4 so it's finally the time for this huh? would be too broadly used if it was neutral, but in priest.. maybe with the buff direction..
Cleric definitely died for this XD
Too random to put in a deck? or maybe it has strong enough effects on every board so it might be fine..
it's random but actually you know what it does which is not something HS does a lot.
I like the design but might be hard to fit in a deck cause it's inconsistent
is the DR injured (it's important) I would guess no..
could be played.. depends on if CW is a thing
