Added Odd/Even archetypes to classes that were missing these. I could have sworn i did that before, but apparently not.
I dont think a "Minion Mage" is worth its own archetype, you can put it under tempo or midrange mage and be fine with that.
I changed the name of the thread, but i dont think making it sticky is worth it, not like we are gonna have new archetypes every day. Ppl can find this and request it here, on discord or via PM, if they feel the need a new archetype should be added.
Understood. Just thought that with recent cards from Uldum, for Shaman class, do you think it's worth adding Totem Shaman? I mean, it was used way back in TGT-era and I believe that new cards might resurrect this archetype from its graveyard.
Is it possible to add Odd/Even archetype across all classes? Although rare, one would like to share her/his Odd Priest or Even Warrior so to say, which will help finding more unique decks. What do you say, fellow members of OoC?
P.S: I'm sure there is an archetype named "Minion Mage" which was started with Book of Specters. Or, do I have my facts wrong?
P.S.S: Let a topic be sticky for forgotten archetype suggestions.
But, in Wild, Secret Mage is based on burning your opponent to his/her face, not as a Control archetype. However, if that's what your heart desires, feel free to do so.
Your points are clear as a crystal. Sadly, there are not so much non-Basic Totems that could carry Totem Shaman archetype but I'm glad with your average succession. Thanks for your feedback and I hope you enjoyed with this deck 😃
Is it, really? I mean, I just came up with this deck as I don't have some cards to test out, ha ha. So, can this deck compete enough against average deck according to your tests since you said this deck is "surprisingly effective"? Or, do I need to change some cards here and there?
Your valuable feedback regarding my questions is needed because I may need to take a different direction. It was an honor for site Staff testing my deck and I wish you a good day, AbusingKel 😃
In "Out of Budget" series, all decks I made consists of only Free/Common/Rare cards. Thus, these decks will cost 3000 at most. On average, the decks I made so far cost 2000 dust. So, give them a try if both of you want and I wish both of you a good day.
So, I tried to play something like this last season. My experience is that, in the end, you'll have a board full of weak minions, so, a good option would be to include Bloodlust as a finisher. This is like a token deck.
Also, I tried the Valiant but he is too slow, although his effect is cool. In my experience, just one was enough.
Stormcaller is another cool card that will never have the effect triggered (just think about this: you'll need to have the four basic totems and, at most, just one more minion on your side, otherwise, he won't have space to summon Al'Akir). I also tried him and he just doesn't work (btw, mine is a golden one, but I'll never dust him!!)
Another great option is Maelstrom Portal, since your small minions will suffer against other aggro decks.
Also consider the great tips by RavenSun.
The thing is: Like you, I enjoy building conceptual decks, but if you don't like losing so much, you'll have to make some pragmatic changes. (I.e. if you are playing casual, this deck will be a joy, but in ranked, you'll eventually be frustrated to lose so much).
Let us know how was your experience!!
I will, when I got new cards for sure. About your pragmatic changes, you mentioned all points clearly, so I will keep them in-mind. Thanks for your feedback, Painkiller.
Good notice, forgot of these cards for some reason. Thanks for the feedback, RavenSun. I know that Even Shaman fits better here but I wanted to use Totem-related cards that don't cost Even, namely Thunder Bluff Valiant, to give a nod to a forgotten archetype from TGT.
Title says it all. Have a look at this deck, then feel free to tell me how to improve because I think it can be optimized better with your valuable feedback:
Although not 100% sure, my guess is: If you draw Reno first, followed by Dinomancer, Reno might be discarded. Reason is: Game registers the "firsts", similar to this scenario: You have Piloted Shredder and Piloted Sky Golem on-board. Shredder is played first, then Sky Golem, and wherever you put your minions is irrelevant in any matter. Mage played Flamestrike and your Mechs will start to pop-up: First Shredder, then Sky Golem. Unless an exclusive rule that I have never heard of states otherwise, discarding your lowest-highest card should work the way I have illustrated.

But Goblin Blastmage works well with Mech decks and Jeeves is the only one to proc his ability. Also, why exchange Arcanologist with Ancient Mysteries? Having 0-Cost Secret will sure help to proc the ability of Cloud Prince on turn 5. No words for Babbling Book as it's a filler card in all honesty 🙄
I appreciate your feedback, however, and thanks for the compliment.

Hee hee. Glad you like it.
Hey, Pezman. I'm not sure if you and your daughter are playing Wild but check my "Out of Budget" series within my profile. Here are the examples...

Which one should I cut for, though? Have any idea, Colin?

So, what to do?
Wow, you are too fast 😄 Let me finish the guide first. Then, I will answer your question.
EDIT: Not at all, really. However, it doesn't hurt to have extra value, don't you think?

Whoops :D
Either Whizbang or Zayle is way to go.
I have no time for games streams 😂
You can't finish Quest the instant you played it. That's why I added him to combine Choose One cards whenever needed.
I will do my best.
Enter the Coliseum, right? I can't believe there were no good AOE card printed for Paladin since then.
