We have an auto-generated page for the new Core Set cards already, but it doesn't contain the existing-yet-confirmed cards for now as we need to figure out how to handle those.
I have a lore guide on Shurima in the works, and Targon is already out if the story behind the cards interests.
Everything else in your lore seems to be correct except Zoe. She is (or at least used to be) a regular human who got Aspect powers, and she was not the one to end the Darkin War (her predecessor did that).
EDIT: Will Ascendant/Ascended be a new tribe, something like Dragon or Elite?
This is what I see as the most likely thing.
Ascended are immortal Shuriman god-warriors that have gained their power from the Sun Disc. The Expansion trailer showed us Renekton (the crocodile), Nasus (the jackal), and emperor Azir (the hawk), who are all Ascended and likely to a) feature in the expansion b) belong to the tribe.
You'd need to save the deck in deckbuilder first before using the deck thing. There the code seems to be working well.
I'm far from a great player so my advice might not be the best, but I'd start cutting from Insight of Ages. Depending on how many Entreats you want to include and how many Insights you're prepared to take out, you could remove a copy of any single target Frostbite spell.
Additionally, have you considered adding Catalyst of Aeons? Feel The Rush is very slow with no ramp, but you may end up falling behind on board too much with Catalyst.
I'd take Defile back any day of the week but I understand if some people dislike it.
I'd imagine they'll let Zephrys rotate instead of bringing him instantly back.
Aluneth feels redundant when you still have Sayge (although it would allow better draw in non-secret lists like No Minion C'Thun Mage or Mozaki Mage...but do we really want that?).
I initially laughed UI off, surely they wouldn't bring back such a strongly-opinionated card. But Overflow is rotating, and they do love giving Druid cards that draw 5, by bringing it back they wouldn't have to reprint the effect...
I'd love C'Thun and his support gang back in a format where the strategy might be a bit more viable, at least for a couple of expansions. However, we just got the new Old Gods so that's highly doubtful.
All in all, I'd like the returning cards to be older than last rotation and cards that see little to no play in Wild but which could make an impact with a smaller card pool. I think there's no sense in bringing back strong meta-defining cards.
In WoW, it's a toy tank = to-nk. I don't know any other explanation behind the name either.
"One of your cards kills an ally or enemy via damage, Strike, or direct kill effect" is the official rule of slaying.
Shows correctly as "owned" to me. Can you still find it from your card backs too? Or does the game actually think you don't have it?
Riot has been quick to respond: they've already promised to make changes to the art and also recasted the voice actor (Source).
Didn't even know that was a theory. I guess I'm still too new to the lore. However, the flavor text or King Jarvan III is very interesting:
"What, pray tell, would a father sacrifice to save his son? Better yet, what would a king?" - LeBlanc

"Chatty Adventurer" with a ton of voicelines would be amazing.
Well since Renekton needs to survive while not even having Challenger for the buff...

It's an orc thing. Lok'tar ogar means "victory or death".
It's a treasure (or similar) from Rastakhan's Rumble.
(Yes it's an actual in-game card and not something I made. I think it was for April Fools or something, initially.)
First two comments are complete opposite opinions on the new icons :D
I stand with minuano28, I liked the previous location much more. The new landmarks seem okay though, units look a bit iffy, and spells are...not good.

Unpopular opinion: I don't really like food-based card backs, less is better.
That bread-one is pretty neat though.
A great philosopher once said: "You've got this! You're way ahead!"
Over half a month left, I smell a new Legend.

It's the first nerf that won't be reverted since they're using June 2014 patch for the format.
The Tavern Special Bundle is also leaving soon, lot of offers expiring before the Lunar New Year celebrations.
