AoE in Murlocs and it is a Murloc? Seems quite insane. Demands instant removal, and if your opponent has none while playing a Zoo/Token-kind of deck, this might just shut them out of the game.
It's good that the effect triggers from playing and not summoning, otherwise it would've surely been broken.
Might easily turn out to be a good card in most Mage decks, but Frost Nova on a stick feels quite uninspired to me. Maybe I'm just too greedy as Mage already got Mordresh Fire Eye so its ok to have a solid-but-not-flashy second legendary.
That's an effect which is very hard to evaluate without testing. At least the statline is premium for it to survive more than one turn, although I'd imagine you will be rarely slamming this on curve rather than holding it for some combo shenanigans.
This isn't a joke, right? I mean, the art of the card is the card in golden.
They only provided a small image of the card and that's what we were able to do for now. I'd imagine this is one of the cards that gets silently dumped to playhs gallery after the final reveal stream so until that it'll look like this.
Interesting to see how many people think that the card is weak, I was already jamming it in all sorts of Warlock decks. I do agree it's quite lackluster without the effect proccing but when it does it's amazing tempo.
Not sold on this one. Upside that is situational and requires some effort, and even then it's not a massive tempo swing. In a right kind of deck sure, but not something for every Priest ever.
Oh my Greybough :D I wish we had this card sooner, when I was desperately trying to complete the "summon 200 Greyboughs" achievement.
I feel that pain. Celestalon has already teased a bunch of new (potentially annoying) achievements so I'm sure an equally happy grind awaits in the Barrens.
Solid-statted minion with an upside. Seems like the centaur cards are pushing Spell Hunter, it will be interesting to see if it'll be enough for Professor Slate & co to finally see actual play. After all, stuff like Rapid Fire rotates, as does Vereesa Windrunner (not sure if the latter would've even made the cut if the deck will become more tempo- than value-oriented).
It's kinda nice that it won't be completely useless if it's randomly created when you are not playing Murlocs, but other than that it shouldn't see play outside those decks.
The leaked video suggested that some future cards will take advantage of destroying your cards, so while it might not seem like the most playable card right now, some extra support might change that.
I could see this being either too slow or very strong. I don't think the current Paladin lists would like to run this, probably a minion-heavy swarm Paladin would be the ideal environment for it.
I mean...its a 4/3 with rush and divine shield. The cost reduction is just gravy for a card like this.
This.
My first instinct was "you probably won't have more than 2-3 Holy spells in hand so it's not really worth running this" but then I realized that 4-mana 4-Attack Rush with Divine Shield sounds pretty good on its own. Especially since Librams aren't going to rotate.
Rogue with a hammer/mallet?
Anyway, do Weapon Rogues need Immunity since they go face anyway? Quite crazy in Wild with Kingsbane though.
Nice use of the Frenzy mechanic for Warriors. I don't think it will be super strong but I'd imagine it's solid enough to see play.
OH NO! No nononono....

I'm so glad that Mana Cyclone is rotating...I guess Mozaki Mages will still use this. Gadgetzan Auctioneer fodder.

Didn't even realize the Shadowstep potential before reading the comments, I'm really not good at Rogue...
Regardless, getting that 4 damage is very unreliable but then again 2 damage should be good enough in a lot of cases. Should see play.

I always fail to estimate the tempo effect of cost reductions and I will do so again: seems rather unimpressive to me right now.
I already forgot that. The card might be much better than I initially thought.

Correct, she is one of the mercenaries. She can also be seen on the expansion trailer.
