Even better than Kirin Tor Mage, the discount being held over across turns until you play a secret shouldn't be ignored either.

3 taunts is annoying to deal with, but I still sleep on this.
This is one of those cards that, the more you think about it, Hunter plays a lot of things that makes multiple minions actually, especially in Big Beast.
Remember that there's not that many totems in Standard for Amalgam of the Deep to discover...
