2,061 totalAfter a quick look at Paladin buff options in Standard, I think I can say maybe.
Now I have to wonder if decks will be running a bunch of cheap spells and playing this for free. All you would need is ten.
[card]Remornia, Living Blade[/card] except it switches between location and minion instead of weapon and minion. Cool. And also looks really strong.
I guess Spell Damage makes this good. Otherwise, I'm not sold on 6 randomly split damage for 3 Mana. Randomly split is the issue here. A 3 Mana [card]11374[/card] would be insane.
I don't know if this is supposed to be used as a mana cheat with a Big Spell Mage deck, but I don't think this is likely to survive until your next turn. And paying 3 Mana to make a …
These locations that can re-open early are an interesting mechanic. I could easily see you being able to use up all three uses in a single turn with this.
Definitely not so great if there are weak low-Health minions on the board. I'll have to see how well this works out, but I imagine it requiring some setup.
On the one hand, if the spell you draw costs 7 or more, it's a good deal, on the other you lose the ability to pick your target. In most cases, I guess it doesn't matter.
Obviously you'd want to draw an expensive spell with this. I just have to see what mana cheating options there are before I can guess if a Big Spell Mage will work.
Interesting design. Nice offensive and defensive choices.
This doesn't sound too bad. If an enemy isn't killed, it will at least be frozen, potentially keeping you alive for longer.
What does combining this with Paladin cards get you? Divine Shield synergy? Is there even anything on that front?
Just adjacent minions, huh? You're probably going face if you're playing pirates, so 2 extra damage. 3 if one of the adjacent minions has Windfury.
Alright, so why would I want to buff my guy, then make it unable to attack? It would just be asking to be removed before I can take advantage of the buff.
This seems alright. [card]11496[/card] costs 2 Mana. 1 extra gets you a way to consistently pop it.
Well, this looks really strong in a pirate heavy deck. Especially with [card]Sailboat Captain[/card].
I suppose it might make it easier to kill some of your opponent's minions, though it affects your side too. And then your opponent could just play some minions with normal stats and kill it to get a free buff.
Nice concept I guess. The discover pool would presumably change each time a new expansion releases.
I can see this potentially allowing you to avoid a ton of face damage and give you another turn to clear the board.
Why don't they just print it as a 4/10? Or is it for classes that can heal it?
