Searching card text for whatever Winter related words that come into my head isn't getting me anywhere. And ice gets me everything that contains words like sacrifice, which is a ton of stuff.
Not a minion or a spell, eh? What does that leave, lands and artifacts?
I think I'm going to need help with the 8 turns, 7 more mana, another 8 turns, 56 more mana MTG clue.
Anyone? I've tried everything I can think of involving 8, 7, 56, turns and mana, and I either get way too many results, or the results don't include the right answer. Though the search function only does exact substrings, not each word is somewhere in the text.
I feel like that's the kind of thing I would've tried had I seen it, but when there's like 60k cards and I have no idea how to reduce the search space, well... Anyway, found it. Thanks.

Okay, I give up. I tried to think of things you typically do when meeting someone else, and nothing came up when searching under name or text for those things. I'm not sure of anything that's Winter specific either.
I seem to remember it always being called labs, unless they changed the name of the specific one. Only other game mode I saw though. Still had to click a bunch before I got it.
I thought I'd try and do Runeterra. After blind clicking every collectable card in Freljord, and every Champion card, and some attempts to legitimately solve clues, I'm left with:
Three spirits stand next to Zed. This one symbolizes his memory.
The only thing standing in the way of getting that icon you want is Viktor... and about 8 others who want to kill you.
When I said you should try to stay warm, I didn't mean that you should engulf your entire freaking body in flames.
I just realized that somebody (actually you) had already asked for a hint to this one. Normally I search before asking, but there was so little hint discussion this time, I got used to just asking. And it was hidden under a spoiler tag (unnecessarily imo), so that made it a bit harder to find. Sorry about that. I found the answer thanks to that last hint though.
That makes all the Hearthstone clues for me. Normally I solve the whole thing thanks to hints given, but since there's been a lot less hint discussion this time, perhaps I should quit now. Otherwise I might end up flooding this comment page with hint requests. Almost did just with Hearthstone hints.

I went through everything above 5 mana, and didn't find it. I wasn't limiting the search to minions, but that still leaves a lot of cards, even so.
I was wondering when something about this would show up. Have the daily tasks been going on the whole time? Is there going to be a link in the header so we can come back to this easily if, for example, we don't finish all the clues before this gets pushed off the front page?

Just got this one now. I checked the LoR news on the site, and didn't see anything helpful.
Filtering by certain keywords helped with those other two.

If the temperature just dropped drastically for seemingly no reason, then you're probably experiencing one of these.
