We don't know all of the effects yet, but if this is anything similar to the old kazakus it should still be a very strong card. I wouldn't be surprised if this, like the old kazakus, becomes a staple in control decks. The deckbuilding restriction does kind of suck, but there will definitely be decks where the sacrifice is worth it.

Here is my first idea. I will change the watermark later, I also intend to change the art when I find something better (if anyone has any good art that would be appreciated). My main concern is that it is too similar to Mana Tide Totem.

    More feedback:

@Swizard: I like Ilxos a lot more than arrogant gnome. It works very well as a finisher/build around card, and I don't think it is terribly OP. The only concern I have is that a lot of decks running a bunch of burn spells probably won't need a big finisher, they would just kill you with the initial round of Fire spells. Maybe change to arcane spells?

@grumpymonk: I prefer Abundance. Partly because I just really like Druid, drawing cards, and gaining armor. But also because I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to be making Fire spells, so staying away from that school may help your card stand out more. I do think Abundance is a little powerful as it is. It shouldn't be hard to put only nature spells in your deck, so this can easily tutor 2 spells and gain you a hefty amount of armor. Maybe if it only drew one nature spell and gave you armor for the cost, or if it gave you 5 armor instead of armor equal to the cost.

@Dreams: First off you shouldn't use the Classic watermark. I think this card is very powerful, I would either increase the cost or make it buff +1/+1 instead.

@Neoguli: This basically gives your arcane spells a soft version of twinspell. I think it is an interesting idea but in practice I don't see this surviving more than 1 turn, which means you probably won't be able to get more than 1-2 spells from it. I would make it cheaper and smaller, and just have it buff a random arcane spell in your hand with twinspell, or have it generate a copy of a random arcane spell in your hand. This would make the design much cleaner while keeping the card roughly the same.

@NerdyMcNerd: I don't have anything to criticize. The card looks great! :)

@KingMicahhh: First off you shouldn't use the Classic watermark. My main concern is that it is too similar to Lyra the Sunshard. It has the exact same cost/stats and has a very similar effect. You did a good job on flavor, but I would adjust it slightly to make it a bit more unique.

@anchorm4n: I like it but I agree with other people that this could very easily become problematic. I would make it a 7/7 and have it affect only the first spell.

@Elfensilver: There is a typo in the word "whenever" and it should also say "your hero" instead of "you" in the battlecry. I like the design but I would change the battlecry to a "when drawn" effect so that the opponent can't just hold onto it and avoid taking damage.

The Rng part is stupid they could of just made it select 2 enemy minons.

No, they couldn't. There is no effect in the game that allows you to make two selections. They'd have to add new functionality to the UI, and they are not going to do that for the sake of one spell.

I'm not saying they will never do that -- in fact, they probably should at some point. But not now, and not for just one card.

Personally, I don't think the RNG kills this card. The only time it is relevant is if your opponent has 4 or more minions and you want to hit two of the minions in the middle. And even then, it is only a 50/50 chance.

If they did want to get rid of the RNG they could have made it say "deal 2 damage to a minion and the minion to it's right" and it would function exactly the same but without the randomness.

Simply put, it isn't worth spending your entire turn playing a single minion with no keywords and removing a single minion from your opponents board. Maybe if she had taunt, or rush, or was cheaper, or did anything more she would be good. But 8 mana is just too much to remove a single minion.

@Demonxz95: I would like it better if it read "Battlecry: draw 2 cards, Nature spells drawn cost 2 less", similar to Lunar Visions. I think flavor-wise it works the same, but the design would be a bit tighter. Also, it would cause it to have more immediate impact and make it harder to use for combos.

@Fedrion: The stats are a little odd, having aggressive stats but a defensive ability. I would make it a 3 mana 2/3 or something like that. 4 mana feels like a lot and I don't imagine you would be able to combo this with more than 1-2 spells. Also, what happens when you play a frost spell that freezes on a non frozen minion. Does the Cryomancer add a damage? Or do nothing?

@Nirast: Natural Evolution seems a bit odd flavor-wise and problematic balance-wise. The Frost King wouldn't be enough for freeze shaman, and it seems a bit random that he affects fire spells. Out of all of the mistresses I would go with Ice and Fire.

@BloodMefist: I prefer Vile Instructor. The design feels better both in terms of playability and flavor. I would consider reducing the health to 4, but other that I like it as it is.

@Linkblade: These both seem rather over powered. Getting a 6 mana Ragnaros is very powerful, especially when it comes with an extra 2/4. And casting 8 fire spells should be fairly easy in a dedicated deck. Compared to Jana'alai, this costs less, and it easier to trigger, and isn't legendary. I would increase both the cost of the card and the number of spells required.

What's the general consensus on disenchanting classic cards? Before rotation or after?

I haven't DE'd them since the news broke. I have a pair of duplicate legendary minions in classic now and wonder if it makes more sense to hold for a full refund or if we may see a situation similar to what happened with HoF cards in the past. (IE Sylvanas/Rags were auto-refunds but only for 1 copy so holding dupes wasn't advised.)

As a general rule of thumb, don't disenchant cards at all unless you really need the dust right now. I am not sure when the best time to disenchant cards is, so just hang on to them and if an opportunity to get more dust arises, take it.

Ok, when I read this one, I imagine the frenzy effect sends a copy of the card, with a buff, into your deck, which would mean a 3/4 with frenzy that then shuffles a copy of itself into the deck with frenzy, and so on. This being part of an expansion, along with info that all classes will have some access to card draw, means that this guy could end up being seen a LOT. That bit about "permanent" +2/+1 makes me wonder. . . when that 3/4 gets hit and shuffles, is it adding that 2/1 to a 3/4, giving you a 5/5 with frenzy in your deck? That seems kinda bananas, i would assume it's shuffling a 1.0 Sunscale in there, giving you bunches of 3/4 raptors.

Of course, if all this thing does is shuffle a 3/4 raptor with no frenzy, then it's just an ok to good 1 drop.

I am 99.9% certain that "permenent" means it will, in a sense, buff the base stats. Meaning that the shuffled copy won't be a 1/3 with a +2/+1 buff, but a 3/4 with no buff. So yes, the buffs will stack. If they didn't stack the card wouldn't really make sense. And even though it does stack, I don't think it will be OP. By the time you have gotten it to a 1 mana 5/5, you will have had to draw, play, and trigger the same dinosaur 3 times. At the point in the game a 1 mana 5/5 isn't really that crazy.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

This deck looks like a lot of fun. I will definitely play something similar for the few days while this is in standard, and when it rotates I will try and come up with a viable wild adaptation.

The only problem I see with this deck is that by the time starving buzzard gets buffed, he'll be in wild.

I have been visiting that page. It may be a visual bug. I am mainly curious if this is happening to anyone else.

*edit* it started working normally today.

I wouldn't say it's "literally insane". By lowering the price they are tempting you to spend more money. And by having "limited time" deals they get to take advantage of the FOMO effect. This is especially true if they have cosmetics on sale.

I have had a problem both today and yesterday where I couldn't complete the "visit the Forged in the Barrens expansion guide" daily task. Is this a problem with the website or am I doing something wrong?

The original will be changed to a hero card.

There will be two versions in our collection, the real one that we own, and the free version that is given to everyone for free from the core set. But both versions will have this update.

As another avid fan of Shudderwock, I think this is a very big deal. Now we don't have to play a 5 mana "do nothing" card. Instead we can play a 4 mana card that actually impacts the board. This doesn't help the consistency of the combo since - as you mentioned - you can double the battlecry with relative ease guaranteeing extra Shudderwocks. But this change does mean you get to run better, cheaper cards in your deck that help you survive the early game, and still have your combo work later in the game.

I would be surprised if they didn't nerf this card. Corruption at 1 mana is the easiest thing to trigger, and 4 damage for 1 mana is just too much. Eviscerate is balanced at 2 mana, and cold blood had to be nerfed. Nitroboost Poison is arguably better than both of those cards.

After hearing that Starving Buzzard is going to be unnerfed in wild, this suddenly becomes much more interesting.

I can see this being a powerful asset in a draw-heavy/deck-thinning aggro hunter deck.

I am sorry, but you can't just say "the pack opening system is broken. I can't prove it, but trust me. I know I've opened more than 40 packs because I feel like I have" and expect people to actually believe you.

It is far more likely that you are misremembering or miscounting. The human mind is a fickle thing, computers? Not so much.

This tribe seems rather over-powered. It is very difficult to tell with a battlegrounds tribe, but there seems to be a whole lot of snowballing and permanent buffs. At tier 6 you pretty much have Dread Admiral Eliza only permanent. I would also like to see slightly more variation in what the ogres do besides overkilling to gain stats.

Overall I think you did a good job, but it could use a little work.

The green fel glow synergizes well enough with the purple border, but the art is somewhat unfocused, the imp is not really centerstage.  Not  a great design, not a great card.

About the art, if you look at all of the different versions you can see a story. First you have the imp who appears to be taunting the pig guy, then the pig guy is about to punch the imp and he dodges as a second imp sneaks up in the background, then in the last one you see the pig guy getting overwhelmed by a bunch of imps. It's a terrible card, but I like how they did the art
