  • Don't forget that Gunslinger Kurtrus is still in Standard. Ci'Cigi might be a critical mass of value generation for a DH Reno deck.

  • Aura = continuous buffs like Raid Leader.

  • Wow, that's going deep. Clever.

  • Does anyone know what Endgame's flavour text is referencing? It's just "2:29:55"

Googling it didn't turn up anything that made sense.

  • Malefic Rook has anti-synergy with hand and aura buffs, while Pit Lord doesn't.

  • I like the design on the wrench. You can set it up like Necrium Blade and get full value, or you can play the Mini version and swing with it to get two immediate triggers.

  • Timebound Giant is now a (slightly nerfed) real card.

  • To be fair, Rumble Enthusiast isn't Outcast, it's the same mechanic as Altruis the Outcast.

  • The problem isn't so much surviving with an empty deck as it is surviving doing nothing on turn 8.

  • From what I've watched the deck didn't seem strong, but I don't play the game so I'll admit when I'm wrong. I can however tell you the downvote that you got, was not for what you did but what you did not. To just add a correction without joining in on the fun, made my efforts feel a bit shunned.

  • Looks like another great card for Rainbow DK, even if Hearthstone is a game I don't play. I'll enjoy watching Kibler try to rank up, with decks that by all metrics probably suck. Will this see play elsewhere? No bet. Mixing runes has been a disappointment. Still, I love when designers come up with a bit and alter the card to really commit. Cards like this are a community dream, with a high power level and play-along meme.

  • Probably not. One, they definitely would've come out the gate with that. Two, it specifies Shaman Quests, and I seriously doubt they're adding three Quests per class. If I had to guess, the token puts Unite the Murlocs, Corrupt the Waters, and Command the Elements in play as one mega-quest.

  • Elusive is "Can't be targeted by spells or hero powers" keyworded.

  • Okay.

    Okay.

    That's amazing.

  • It just struck me that they really didn't do much with Overheal. They introduced the keyword and added like two cards that have it.

  • This is the first time they've done balance changes since going off active development that aren't consistency fixes or compensations for consistency fixes. That's honestly really exciting.

Fingers are crossed. Expectations are low, but nothing would make me happier than HotS going back on actual development.

    EDIT: It was fixed.

  • I'll be the first to say it: this was the correct nerf for Blindeye Sharpshooter. This is what I'd call an "invisible nerf". It's not something you the opponent will ever notice. However, this does mean that Blindeye Sharpshooter is now completely useless outside of the combo turn. You cannot play it on the board preemptively, which slows down the Demon Hunter and gives them a dead draw in the early game, which in turn opens them up to aggro decks, which in turn reduces the deck's overall winrate and thus playrate.

I think that's a brilliant change. Nerfing the effect would've just killed the card and also killed the archetype, while this way the deck can exist in a more fair state.

  • Heroes of the Storm is probably too free. You can easily get every hero and pretty much any skin you want without spending a single penny, as long as you play every day and maximize your hero levels to get optimal chest drops. The game does use loot crates, but they're pretty un-predatory. You can buy everything directly, and you get so much gold and dust to craft things for free.

  • I like it! Somebody on the Hearthstone team remembers that Heroes of the Storm exists.
