  • Yet another 2 mana 3 damage spell. Man they've printed a lot of these. Being able to go face makes it better than some others, but the added effect is not great and requires a condition.

  • There will be situations where this gets some really good work done. And there will be situations where it's garbage. I'm curious to see how the damage is dealt.

  • Really really cool concept, and I could see myself crafting this just because of that. I think it has the potential to be really good, too.

  • Very cool concept. Can't wait to see what the animation is like. Hard to say if this card will be good enough, but I'm optimistic. DH needs the love!

  • Demon Hunter should have at least one card like this in every set. It's needed to enable Outcast to be a consistent mechanic. This card is very useful.

  • This card is strong! A 6 mana 6/6 with rush is playable, but getting 2 is even better!

  • I'm not too clear on the "Switch" part. Is this like Spitelash Siren, so it will change to "After you play a spell, deal 2 damage and draw a naga"? I guess it might facilitate some kind of APM Demon Hunter where you draw and play a ton of cards in one turn, and strike the face for a lot. Hard to see that being lethal, though.

  • I can see this being used for a lot of burst damage since you can discount it with Load the Chamber. It's still just ok, though.

  • How big is the Naga pool right now? The smaller the better in order for this card to get you something you really want. But how many of those Naga are worth looking for? This card could be just ok.

  • Meh. I mean, I guess it's technically "free" since it costs 3 mana and gives you 3 discounts of 1 mana each. And it's nice that those discounts can carry over into future turns. But it's also just dealing 2 damage.

  • Pretty good card overall. Inexpensive, tutors a spell, and maybe double it. Too bad there are no Arcane spells with Quickdraw, which would make this card really shine.

  • Damn this card is strong! Remember Powershot? Ok, maybe that card didn't see much play, but this costs 1 less, AND has a spell school, AND has the potential to hit all enemies, including the face.

  • Great card! Not only does this have the great effect of all secrets (being difficult to play around), but it punishes your opponent for using Quickdraw. I don't know, maybe that's bad, since they should be encouraging people to use the new mechanic. But since I expect we'll be doing a lot of Quickdrawing, this card should be valuable.

  • Wow does this dunk on Mask of C'Thun, and that card was highly playable. Same exact effect, but for an extra 3 mana you get a 10 cost minion. I wonder if we'll see Big Spell Mage return to Standard?

  • I'm scratching my head on this one. Ok, you can discount a bunch of spells you've generated, but only down to 1. You cannot play this and Sif on the same turn and still have mana left to sling spells. Prime targets for cheap damage like Arcane Bolt already cost 1. This could theoretically go off in a big way, but I don't see what you're setting up with it.

  • Great card! Excavating twice looks easy, you might even play this on curve. Even played later, it will be really impactful.

  • This seems bad. Generating a board of 3/2 minions is not a huge play, particularly in the late game, which is the only time you can really get enough of these to make it worthwhile. Can Mage buff minions in hand? No.

Here's one option: play this on turn 10, immediately followed by Deathborne.

  • This card will be chosen often from Discover effects. I can also see it being run in decks that want to Excavate a lot, which might be a lot of Mages this cycle.

  • This one looks good to me. I think SludgeLock will be sweet and fun, and this will get those barrels firing off in no time.

  • Since there are several cards that specifically put sludge on the bottom of your deck, this will be good! However, we'll need to watch out for shuffling effects (like Plagues), because they will screw with what we put on the bottom of the deck.
