  • That's a lot of cost reduction, obtained fairly easily. I think this card will be hugely powerful.

  • HYPE. I am very excited for the new game mode. Looks like it will have great flavor.

  • We need to know for sure what counts as a poison and what doesn't. If it's every card with poison in it's name, this will be OP. Way better than SSS.

Saurfang finally found his way to Hearthstone! Really cool.

And I never thought I'd see the resurrect mechanic in Warrior. We haven't seen that many Frenzy cards yet so it's hard to gauge the power level of this card, but I guess it instantly activates those frenzy effects since its deal 1 damage to all other minions. This will be a nice tool for Warriors, but it's totally dependent on the power level of Frenzy cards we'll see since it's probably just going to be an expansion-specific keyword.

Well, Saurfang was an adventure boss back in Frozen Throne, but this is the first time he's appeared as a card.

I agree that resurrect is an unexpected mechanic for Warrior. This card might work best if you limit your Frenzy minions in order to control which ones he summons. For example, if you know he'll bring back Blademaster Samuro, you can bank on a 2-damage AOE, plus Samuro has Rush.

    That's a 1-mana Bloodlust at turn 10...

well not really... bloodlust gives up to 21 damage, while this at most

1 mana for 9 damage, plus you can run 2 of these and still have 8 mana leftover for some other buffs. Spells like this are why Charge is being gradually removed from Standard.

  • Clearly the watchtowers are not good enough on their own, so you need something like this to justify putting them in your deck. All combined, plus some other synergies we haven't thought of yet, there could be some real potential here.

  • The video suggests playing this alongside Blademaster Samuro. Will the order of events mean he gets the buff, THEN deals his AOE? That could be neat,

  • If you could have both Watchtowers as once, way better. Neither is great on its own.

  • Hmm. I really like the flavor. It's a bit like Never Surrender! but not Secret, and it can happen multiple times. If you opponent can deal with it on board, it's crap. But it they can't ...

  • Dang that's a strong card. Lots of cheap ways to get a decent bit of AOE, and several slightly more expensive ways to get a large AOE.

  • A new playstyle for DH is coming together slowly. We've now seen a card that summons DR's from hand, and one that summons them from the deck, and a card that draw them. There is a lot of flexibility here. Without even seeing some insanely powerful new DR cards, just look at things like Scrapyard Colossus

  • With 10 mana and 5 active minions, Rogue can Barrens Blacksmith, Pen Flinger, Shadowstep, Barrens Blacksmith, Pen Flinger, giving the previous 5 minions all +4/+4. I dunno, just trying to imagine how to best abuse his card.

  • This is a very powerful effect, but only if you can make it stick, which doesn't seem likely.

Wait, if you play this at 10 mana when you have Carnival Clown in hand, then play any 8-mana card (not a taunt minion), you will corrupt the Clown. Right? This could be a neat way to corrupt Clowns without having to play a 10-mana card.

  • I like this, a neat new mechanic. I'm so curious what the respawned minion will look like: will there be something like the silence effect?

  • Ok now I see the deathrattle synergy. Will it be good though? DH already has so many draw effects.

  • This card makes Ancient Watcher and Humongous Razorleaf playable! Just wait for a Demon Hunter to cast this spell, then jam your no-attack minions and voila! Next turn they can attack!

Ok but seriously, this could be pretty good in the right circumstances, although it can be played around to a certain extent (like dormant minions).

  • Super nasty! At only 3 mana, drop this after sticking a board (something Druid excels at) and spam the spells! It won't target itself, so every buff goes to a ready-to-attack minion.

  • So the trend of no class healing for Rogue continues, but this may be the next best thing!

Wow this looks bad. I guess it pairs well with the new spell that burns cards from your deck? But in the late game when this will actually activate, it doesn't even go face.

Well, for 3 mana, and given that it is on a stick, if it had also went face, it would be totally unfair.
It's a situational control card at best, not a win condition per say

I assessed too quickly, didn't think about the fact that the Lifesteal would activate on the battlecry as well. I was thinking about ZooLock (seen too many of them recently) and how quickly they pull through the deck, but you're right, this is a control tool, and a damn good one, if you can last that long

  • This could easily trade away multiple early game minions. On a wide enough board, you could possibly give this a huge attack value, but at 3 (or 2) health, it isn't going to live long enough to go face.
