I think that would weaken the Zephrys, offering a dead choice. If you want Sac Pac to kill that demon, just play Zephrys when it awakens, not like you can kill it before it does anyway, so you are not dodging that 10 damage aoe.

Okay I was still curious so I tried some of these out. The Holomancer interaction is broken in the same way the Pack Tactics one is. The token should be a 3/1 (or a 1/1 with +2 attack buff) but it's just a 1/1.

Then I tried it out with Emeriss. WTF?! Okay, in hand it's a 2/12 just like you'd expect. But then, when you play it, it becomes a 2/12 with +4 attack?! So it shows as a 6/12. Somehow the Emeriss handbuff also doubles the board-based bonus?!?!

I've got a screenshot and a short video but I don't see any way to upload them into the forum posts.

You need to upload images/videos to an external site and then paste URLs. We do not have a storage/"upload from your PC" function on the site yet.

Thanks for testing tho, it does seem that you have found yet another Blizzard spaghetti code. Must be Tuesday :)

Isnt Brightsteel Formation just a design clean-up rather than a nerf? I believe "give all allies" includes itself, so it will come with a Barrier regardless. You can tell by the new text on Vanguard Bannerman that will say "grant other allies" to exclude itself.

While information in this guide is still valid and you can upload your collection this way, we highly recommend you use our plugin for Hearthstone Deck Tracker to make the process automated.

This guide will show you, step by step, how to import your collection data from HSReplay.net to OutOf.Cards Hearthstone Collection.

    1. Login to HSReplay.net and navigate to your collection - https://hsreplay.net/collection/mine.
    2. Hit F12 to open your browser's console.
    3. Click on the console's networking tab.
    4. Reload the page.
    5. Using the filter on the network area, search for "account_lo".
    6. Right-click on the URL that pops up and open it in a new tab.
    7. Switch to "Raw Data" tab, select entire content of that page and copy it.
    8. Paste the copied content from previous step into the new field in collection management and click "Submit collection".
    9. A pop-up appears in top-right informing you that "Your collection is in a queue for saving. Please wait!".
    10. After a while, another pop-up appears informing your that "Collection successfully updated".
    11. Done!

    Notes:

    • The JSON import is now destructive -- i.e. it clears your entire collection, then replaces it with whatever's in the JSON. You no longer need to request a manual reset. (This is very handy for those of us with Macs, since the JSON approach is the only bulk option we have right now.)
    • If you do need to reset your collection manually for some reason, there's actually a way to do it yourself. Just go to My Hearthstone collection -> Edit collection. When you land there, the default search shows all your cards (every set, every rarity). Click the Bulk Remove Filtered From Collection button, and it will remove all those cards from your collection. Since these are all your cards, that leaves your collection empty.

I am not the most technical person and was not able to follow the new instructions for the JSON importer.  I get that you just need to copy/paste the file into the text box, but don't understand how/where to find said file.  I've looked through the HSReplay website under my collection for an option to export it.  I've looked through the app for an option to export it.  Does this save a copy of my collection as a JSON file on my computer?  I guess I could have checked before posting this.  I'll do that now.

I made a detailed guide, i hope this helps.

Well, what ur asking is already implemented and has been for some time - game portals. If you look at the homepage, you can notice at the top (under the nav menu) there are 4 game portals - Hearthstone, Runeterra, Magic ... and Forums as a placeholder for now.

If you would like to follow only a specific game, bookmark the portal url instead of the homepage. The nav menu also changes based on which portal you're on or which you have set as default.

Also, individual portals, Hearthstone especially, have more features on the portal-homepage that wouldnt be fitting for the main-homepage.

Btw when you look at the Hearthstone Portal, we've had several HS articles per day ... saying there was no HS article this week is just incorrect. I get that the main-homepage might be moving too fast for your taste, thats why you can follow the portal(s) individually.

This card is actually pretty annoying, i guess arguably better Crystalline Oracle will do that.

Also .... in vs from ... why must you do this Blizzard?! I know why, it wouldnt fit in 3 lines nicely, but ...

You can check the interaction with stuff like Zerek's Cloning Gallery, Herald Volazj, Shadow Essence, Barnes, Dollmaster Dorian, Holomancer, Muckmorpher, Power Word: Replicate, Shadowcaster, Flobbidinous Floop, Kobold Illusionist, Mirage Caller, Prince Taldaram or Sonya Shadowdancer. Could also be intersting to see if the copy had higher stats than the original, if that worked properly, the only way to do that is probably Splintergraft.

Kinda interesting actually to see how few cards summon a copy with exact stats, most of them being legendaries and most of them summoning 1/1s. Hmm.

So... Demon Hunter... How does this affect the class creation Competitions? Or are they getting fused into one, where you must design an expansion that also introduces a new class?

And not to be a nag, but any idea when the big competitions are coming back?

We are working on preparing a Big Comp, but no ETA right now. Demon Hunter shouldnt present any problems for these, if anything, it might make the class comps a bit easier, depending on how we are going to go about it. Class competitions are going to get more robust with each HS set released as has been the case in the past, so eventually something will have to be done for the sake of the comp's length and the amount of cards needed to be designed. It is going to take more and more time and work to design a new class, if you would like to design full set of cards from each expansion.

But like i said, we do have something planned, so stay tuned :)

Vulnerable mechanic is interesting, looking forward to see more cards that give it to see how will it play out.

But Sejuani, damn, she seems a bit insane.

Clearly there were some OP Demon Hunter cards, glad those get some nerf.

I'd say the Burrowing Scorpid is one of my favorite neutrals. I see Ruststeed Raider quite a bit and it's definitely a good card.

Agreed. Scorpid is very strong. I think your comparison was better than mine, it is basically a Stormpike Commando on steroids. Also agree about Ruststeed Raider, 5 damage can remove a lot of things on T5 and leaves an annoying taunt behind. Certainly good value for 5 mana.

You had the score right... I wanted to give him 5/5 but didn't. The beast tag is a nice bonus, too.

I meant the comparison to Stormpike Commando. I went with Fire Plume Phoenix cause of the mana cost ... and also cause i didnt remember to think of the Commando at that point :D But it is a better comparison overall ;-) Did we have such a strong power creep yet i wonder? More attack, less mana, bonus ability, beast tag. Phew, poor Commando.

Actually, I think it was when they attacked with the 4/4 that the Attack got readied again. Maybe I’m wrong though, the video was highly edited so it’s unclear how it really work

I think only the very last combat at the end of the video looks uncut. The previous ones do look very cut off for splashy effect. But yeah, either way, the video is not a great definitive source of information for this.

Feels like integrating a fast, aggressive class makes sense as your first addition. Ppl will play it more, so you will get more data and it will probably be easier to design cards for it and see how it goes.

Making a complex control oriented class could be too cumbersome as a first addition.

Fast and flashy, that is the name of the game for masses usually. If the concept holds, then you can built upon that imho.
