I want to try this in a Wild Spell Hunter list. Curious to see if the hero power being free and refreshing after playing a spell carries over to new hero powers after playing a hero card. Creating multiple zombeasts in a turn for free?! Yes, please! The effects of Wildfire carries over when you play Frost Lich Jaina so I imagine these effects would carry over for Rexxar or Zul’jin.
I can't see the image you posted, but you can see it on the Blizzard page about rewards track update at PlayHearthstone.com
While I wasn't expecting it to be the same artwork, I believe they have confirmed previously that the person featured in Judicious Junior is actually Tamsin. If they didn't confirm it previously, this new Scholomance Tamsin hero portrait sure seems to. Whether it was intended from the start or not, I personally love the tie in.
I think because it’s when you play a spell, not just play a card, maybe it won’t be as strong… (maybe?). But as someone who mostly plays Wild now it makes me think of trying it in an updated Spell Hunter build.
I think because the mole is flavor-wise “investigating” or “getting dirt” on your opponent they decided to go back to the “your opponent’s class” mechanic.
I get it! I was looking forward to the reveal as well. But honestly, there are worse things that could happen. Like, for example, being sexually harassed and/or assaulted! So whether the streamer involved cancelled last minute, or if employees involved in producing the stream decided to use this as a moment of protest, or if they just want to avoid the live stream chat commentary, I completely understand cancelling the stream.
I’m sure we’ll get to see them all soon anyway. Either later today or tomorrow is my guess.
You’re being too literal. To say you can’t compare things, or that they aren’t comparable, is basically a way to say they are two very different things (as you said).
Is Stoneskin Basilisk a core card right now?! That’s kind of like giving it Rush and Windfury, only you don’t get to choose what two things it kills if the enemy has 3 or more minions.
Not to mention that if you run a lot (or only) demon minions, Free Admission can make this a (4) 8/6. Takes some lucky draw to do that, but when it does a turn four 8/6 demon isn’t bad at all.
For Even Lock in Wild it could be a decent addition to go along with Mountain Giants and Molten Giants too!
It's a game. Grow a thicker skin. Take it as an opportunity to challenge yourself not to be offended so easily
I haven’t read all the comments here, but the ones I have aren’t people complaining the BMers offend them. But rather pointing out the immaturity of it.
You say you aren’t doing it to tilt people, but… why else do it? You say you are the nicest person, but the anonymity of the Internet has a way to bring out people’s true selves. In other words: If doing annoying things to get under random people’s skin is fun for you playing a game then you aren’t nice deep down. Rather you’re actually a jerk in real life, but also too much of a coward to be a jerk to someone’s face because doing that as opposed to over the Internet might have consequences.
But if that’s who you are and what you enjoy doing, that’s cool. You be you! But everyone’s sense of fun and what they enjoy is different. People will see this topic different depending on that very perspective. And it’s my opinion that people who BM because it’s fun are no more better than school yard bullies who are unfulfilled in their lives, requiring them to put others down and be irritating to make themselves feel better.
Lastly, please don’t confuse mental maturity and security in one’s self with being soft and easily offended. Some of us just don’t feel the need to belittle strangers to feel good or have fun. In this situation it may very well be you that needs to re-evaluate your own position and better yourself.
This Book made me feel like a WoW movie (or series) based on these characters with an ultimate confrontation between the Roame sisters being the main connecting plot line could have been pretty damn sweet.
I've been playing a lot of Galakrond Warlock that has an oddly favorite card of mine, Blood Troll Sapper. It has never ever been a "meta" card and it never will be. But holy shit has it been clutch in some games as the finisher after my opponent puts up a big taunt wall and feels safe. It's also been great for going face with a bunch of low health, higher attack minions, trade one off if you need a spot on the board, and then Sapper + Defile to get 12 more burst damage (or more if some of your minions are eggs and the hatching minion(s) can also die. I have fun imagining my opponent's reaction when they a) see the card land on the board and b) die because of it!
Also, Egg Zoo Lock (or my Galakrond Lock list) benefits greatly from Ritual of Doom. I've had a few turns where I go from nothing on board to suddenly: (5/5) (5/5) (4/1) (1/1) (1/1) (2/1)
Not the most intimidating of boards, but when your opponent is low on resources from constantly clearing your swarm of invoked Imps and other minions, it can be tough for them to deal with and lead into some fun Sapper shenanigans!
I'm really confused of how this would end up being of financial impact.
It's simple really! Control decks are expensive, and if they dominated the meta then Tickatus can dominate Control decks, encouraging players to play cheaper aggro decks, therefore, Blizzard has financial gain by forcing a meta that costs less money...
We kept Basic cards when they moved to Legacy, so the precedent is that we keep them. I could imagine new players needing to craft them if they start playing after they have already left Core though.
Back when Vargoth came out every Priest player in Wild immediately started using him in Big Priest while I was using him in an Aggro/Midrange Priest with big burst potential to finish the game via Vargoth + 2x Mind Blast, then a third cast by Vargoth himself. I kind of want to revisit that idea following the release of the Stormwind set!

Scholomance Tamsin?!?! Don’t they mean Judicious Junior?!?!
I was excited for the first Dranaei hero but then was like “Oh wait… Xyrella exists.”
Still! Pretty freaking cool!

If Rotface is at 1 hp he no longer takes damage. So he’d stop producing legendaries at that point, right?
I love the idea I’m just curious about the actual mechanics.
Could still play this on Stoneskin Basilisk to clear two random enemies.

Curvestone personified!

None. Because BM’ing is for immature children.

Wait...
That would make the most sense honestly.
