An update to Dungeon Run could be cool. Or a better idea, just give us a new version DR to go along with an expansion.
As an example: If the three expansions this year go Horde, Alliance, H vs A in an old WoW BG setting like AV they could just do an updated type of Dungeon Run based around the BG.
Pretty sure they said with the Darkmoon expansion that there would be a mini set with every expansion moving forward. Generally can be expected about halfway between expansions, or around 2 months after the main expansion release.
We'll see how it goes! I feel like last month the majority of responses were all "Why would I play that trash?!"
So I'm not optimistic (on ranked at least, maybe casual will be easier to find a Speedstone match). But last month I ended up playing several games against a friend where we built decks with Noz because I found no one throughout the day to fight. We had some of the "let me swap one card in this deck I already use" decks as well as a few where they were brand new. My buddy made a Bronze Dragonflight Paladin! He literally just made a Paladin deck, shoved in as many bronze dragons as he could, and a few dragon synergy cards. These were Wild decks too so he had plenty to choose from, like Dragon Consort to make his Noz cost 5 (if he played him next).
My favorite I made was a Malygos Warlock with Noz. If I could get him reduced with Frizz Kindleroost he was a 5 mana 8/8. If I couldn't get him reduced, I just wouldn't play him ever so that he was there to activate my 2x Nether Breath.
I love the idea of this and will likely take part. But I feel like I could spend the entire day queuing decks with Noz and maybe get one game where his effect activates
i haven't even found that "Regular Tavern level" or something that shows the accumulated reward track level of all seasons...
It's under the "Progression" section, and since everyone who has achieved it is already showing as collected it is giving no notification and won't currently let people choose a portrait.
I was playing paladin with Reckoning in play. My opponent plays Tundra Rhino and gives it Immune with Bestial Wrath. He attacks with it and it dies from Reckoning even though it had Immune.
Normally, things with immune can't be targeted, and if you play an AoE they just ignore the damage. But I guess since Reckoning hits a single target, but you aren't the one picking the target, it works differently.
Also, could you destroy an Immune minion with a random effect like Deadly Shot? Or would that work differently?
What you're describing sounds like correct interactions. It can't take damage, but it can be destroyed. Also it can't be targeted, but Reckoning isn't targeting the Rhino in this case. At least not directly. The Rhino is "targeted" only because it was the minion that triggered the trap
Rag isn't being nerfed, he's just getting another level of cosmetic upgrade. So likely DE values will be normal: 400 dust for regular legendary, 1600 dust for golden copies.
Didnt they mean that you just had to go and reclaim the achievement, and not redo it all?
I think this is correct. I could DE all Classic Legendaries today and likely still get it on patch day because the game says I've completed that achievement in the log.
I think the decks were built based on actual play data, and card performance. So unlike the often under powered deck recipes designed to be starting blocks for experimentation, these are meant to be competitive.
That's one of the reasons I like Classic though to be honest. I didn't have anywhere near the full collection when it was just Classic and Basic. But now I do have all those cards, building the collection over time. So I get to experience these decks in their pure form.
That said, while I enjoy the mode I tend to only play it briefly before returning to Standard or Wild because it is mostly the same 4-5 decks over and over again. Unfortunately the ability to experiment and discover is little to none. But I wouldn't be surprised if in the future we get some sort of progression in the "Classic mode" to start including other expansions.
Wild is worse, honestly! Because of how fast the meta is in Wild. Been experimenting some with different decks in the format, like Dragon Paladin, but not finding success. None of the top Wilddecks can afford a spot for him.
APM or Secret Mages just want to win fast. Darkglare Warlocks want free 8/8’s so a 7 mana 8/8 is a no. Caverns Quest Rogue would make him a 7 mana 5/5, ouch! He could go in Odd Paladin because it’s easy enough to play fast, but lately every Odd Pally I find has brain damage or something because they rope out every turn with that low skill cap deck. I’ve played that deck a lot, it’s not a think and rope kind of deck!
But in short, if I ever saw it activate in a Wild ranked match I think my head would explode from the shock and disbelief!
I made a Wild deck for this day. Dragon Malygos Warlock! It was not good!
However, the deck would likely have had a +50% win rate last night if not for all the APM Mages I faced! At one point I hit about 5 in a row, and each time the killed me by popping off on turn 5!
One fun thing about the deck though was Frizz into drawing 5 mana vanilla 8/8 Noz! The times I got him for 5 mana were the only highlights he had because no one I faced had him!

If you use Hearthstone Deck Tracker, there is an Auto-Squelch add on you can install
I think it was a Druid avoiding Celestial mirror matches, but yes! Also what you said!
I've been wanting to find a fun deck with Plaguemaw after getting him in gold from the pre-order. Thanks for this list! Will definitely give it a go.
EDIT: This list is so scary good I won my first match with it before the Mulligan was over! Hell yeah!!! :)
The bug picking the T2 armor skin just gives me more time to decide which one I want.

He's the only returning hero I've actually been excited for and will likely get.

You mean you don't already own these powerhouse cards?!?! You must be a Bronze player. :

Waiting on that Magni return over here!
Interesting that Medivh came back for gold and she isn’t (or might not?). Just testing out different prices and sales methods I guess.

Druid
Embiggen
Power of the Wild
Patches the Pirate
2x Embiggen into Patches likely means turn 1 win via concede unless they have some crazy turn 1 win condition.
