I personally stopped frequenting HearthPwn as soon as OutOfCards was a thing. Mostly because at that time HearthPwn was supposed to be getting shut down, but even when it was announced they would stay online I just stayed. I won't detail the history of that whole saga, but I'm sure there is a few forum posts about it all if you want to find them.
But ultimately I found that the majority of people who followed Flux and crew from HP to OoC are a great part of the Hearthstone community. And you're sure to see some super salty posts on here as well from time to time, but I feel like the toxicity levels here are WAY under what HP was/is. The only time I still go there is if I'm looking for an old deck list from before this site existed to try and refresh an old deck idea for wild.
“Priest is supposed to be based in tempo and board building right? So let’s do that!”
Only played three so far but I beat two Demon Hunters easy, and a Big Druid who was part frustrated by my board control and part from random secret luck.
Side note: versus both DHs I got a free Metamorphosis and used their own upgraded hero power against them for the finishing blow.
Pretty sure I've gotten drops every time, even the most recent drops, with muted sound. But then again I'm doing that on iPad and not muting the stream, just the device.
This isn't part of their esports though. It's a promotional event. Plus, I believe the official stream from Hearthstone/Blizzard is still on YouTube. But since all the competitors are doing this from their homes they are also streaming.
Lastly, the Twitch Drops are for watching "any Hearthstone stream on Twitch". So I believe that means even if they aren't participating in the event but have drops enabled it should count towards time watched.
Example: Dekkster is not a part of this event but has "DROPS ENABLED" in his stream title, indicating that watching his stream could still earn you the packs.
EDIT: They are live on the HS Twitch page since the event is not part of their actual esports. So if you feel safest watching that stream for the packs it's an option.
Not using this as a submission, but this reminded me of a past custom Rogue secret I made.
The idea here is that it would trigger next turn, no matter what. So you could play this against an aggro opponent to try and get a bunch of minions if they went wide, or you could delay your opponent a turn if they wanted to try and play around it because if they play no minions it still triggers but does nothing.
A more practical version of my idea is probably the actual secret, Ambush. But I still like this idea.
Probably just going to adjust offer rates of some really good cards. I did one DH draft with HearthArena on. When Priestess of Fury popped up it got a score of 125! That’s massive!
But once you unlock the cards you can craft/DE them as you see fit. They are only uncraftable if you haven’t bought GA solo content and then played the wings that unlock the cards.
Haven't climbed much since hitting Diamond 5. Got an almost 5 month old at home now so my free time doesn't allow for much ladder grinding. Last night I probably quit at least 4 games or more in the early turns because he was very restless and kept waking up and crying through the night. I'll get that free legendary some day... [Hearthstone Card (Natalie Saline) Not Found] is the only Classic Legendary I don't currently have. I'm sure I'll have her by the time I get around to hitting legend. Maybe the Leeroy replacement or some other new Classic Legendary post another HoF rotation will be available when I do.
One funny story: A few weeks ago I hit the Jaraxxus rank in the new system. Platinum 5? Anyway, I got my free Classic pack from that. I opened it and one card was glowing orange. It was either Natalie or... Lord Jaraxxus! I just thought, "Of course I would play for 6 years, never open Lord J, until of course they make a rank with his portrait and I hit that rank." :)
Overall, since hitting Diamond 5 I've been playing a variety of different stuff, trying it all out. Also been playing more Wild overall in the past year or so. Been having more fun there with weird decks and wacky combos. Don't feel as much pressure to climb in Wild as I do in Standard so maybe that's part of it.
So I tried this... Very first game, I was playing a Reno Lock. The turn that he played Dragonqueen Alexstrazsa, I played an 8/9 Paragon of Light after dropping Umbra to reequip the weapon. When Paragon died it buffed a Doppelgangster. Umbra was still on board so I dropped the Gangster. He quit before the animation ended!
Whether or not the Umbra addition ends up being really good or not in the long run, that moment alone was well worth the suggestion. So Thank You, very very much! LOL
That is an interesting interaction that I honestly haven't thought of since the deathrattle isn't natural to the minions. I don't know if I like removing Kings because of the nice interaction with Echoing Ooze the turn you play Ooze. However, I'm sure there is something that could be cut to make room for her.
It is likely difficult to play her with Doppel or Faceless as that would require the game to go long. However, she could help to avoid a silence effect or a shuffle like Psychic Scream from completely removing Val'anyr from the game in some scenarios.
There's always that one guy in the group... dammit, Cheese!
:)

Anyway, welcome! Hope you like it here.
If this deck didn’t include Millhouse Manastorm, I swear I will reach through this screen and not do anything because that’s physically impossible!
My first thought when I saw the brawl:

Just beat a Big Druid with my Tempo Galakrond Priest. It really was a ton of fun! LOL
That’s where you’re wrong! Think of the memes from only playing spells in this brawl! Think of the MEMES!!!!!

I'm dying over here! :D
Actually it's on both because this promotional event isn't part of the esports deal that YouTube paid them a ton of $$$ for.
Only if it's for Grandmasters.
Sounds like all, as it says "any" in the official statement and many streamers not participating have "drops enabled" in their stream titles.

Great! Now I can safely play Magtheridon without worrying if my meme dreams will be crushed for zero mana.

They are definitely playing on special accounts, that’s also why every player has all golden card decks.
