Highly dependent on two things: 1) do you have some big demons in hand? 2) do you proc this deathrattle while it's your turn?
#2 relies again on the type of demons in your hand. If you kill this minion off on your turn you could first set up your hand to have one demon and pull something like Hulking Overfiend to help immediately clean up some enemy minions.
Seems pretty easy to pull off, especially if people are running things like Twin Slice, they could get this off on turn 2, or even turn 1 with the Coin and Twin Slice. Not that it'd be that great of a turn, but... it's possible!
I am more excited for DH cards like this than the rush 'em down type of aggro cards. One of the best things about this class to me is the versatility it might have depending on the mix of class and neutral cards you have available. It could go aggro, midrange, or possibly venture into the realm of control.
EDIT: And in Wild it has the possibility to create a Combo archtype with Metamorphosis and cards like Clockwork Automaton and Garrison Commander. Get 2 Automatons and the Commander in hand, drop Emperor Thaurissan, maybe Drakkari Enchanter, then after setting up Metamorphosis you can do a big 40 damage combo the following turn.
Fool's Bane is a bad card, I don't see how this is much different. You are able to attack the enemy Hero, but I don't think that is enough for this card to see play.
Maybe not, but the DH is all about aggressive attacks with the hero. This weapon could be for clearing a minion (or two) and then going face. Maybe they have a 9 or less health taunt in the way and 3 or less life left for their hero, and you have the health to spare. Drop this, hit the taunt until it's dead and kill the enemy hero. It fits the flavor of the class very well. Situational, but not great.
Targeted [Hearthstone Card (Y'ssharj) Not Found]. I like it. Could make for interesting deck building, especially in Wild with Bloodreaver Gul'dan being a thing! Get those big demons out, baby!
Oh wait... Darkest Hour is already a thing. So maybe this is bad. lol
Nevermind! It's DH card. Spending all day, every day at home with a 4 month old during this pandemic is obviously driving me crazy.
This was probably the first card I saw that was an auto-craft for me outside of Metamorphosis. Insane! I was thinking they might eventually give us an ignore taunt type of keyword, but a general effect for your entire board? Definitely only allowable on a one of legendary. Also glad it's not a neutral.
That card is basically a turn 6 Pyro. I wouldn't call it a "little bit" better
But it's a Pyro split over two turns for a total of 7 mana. The damage/cost value is much better, but the time it takes to do the 10 damage is not great.
In Wild it could be a huge value boost if you set up a big hero power finisher. Turn 9, Metamorphosis and don't use the power. Turn 10 Clockwork Automaton, hero power, Blackwald Pixie, hero power. Could also substitute Garrison Commander for Pixie and do the combo one turn sooner.
To reiterate what frenzy already said, it was never guaranteed that you would start with 60g quest or better. It just seemed very common that people got a 60g quest to start.
It is possible this was happening more than intended, and perhaps they adjusted the algorithm to give more 50g quests. OR the more likely situation, some of you have just been unlucky in your awarded quests lately. That or I’ve been very luck as I personally have seen no change in 60g quest frequency, or in reroll potential of 50g quests when I get them
Through the Initiate and Outland sets, DH seems to have the ability to go swarm, midrange, and maybe even control. It seems very flexible based on the meta with use of more class cards for aggro/midrange and a larger mix of big neutral taunts, etc to play a control style.
Can’t wait to see what comes out of the community after time to experiment and react to the new meta.
As a side note, this expansion both improves and hurts Warlock Galakrond as they can summon some of the new, big demons. They also have the potential to summon 4 random dormant demons. Imagine taking the time to invoke to full and getting four tokens that can’t do anything and take up space in your zoo deck for two turns!
There is already some crossover between the original classes, and now DH is like a Rogue-Warlock-Hunter hybrid.
Was thinking about what a Monk might be in terms of a class in Hearthstone, but I only briefly played as one in WoW before quitting the game. Maybe a control type with some defensive plays and quick strike ability in the late game?
Understandable. I used to do that, but now I tend to get enough packs through preorder and my gold stash that I am good. I also DE'd all my golden cards unless I didn't have two or if they were legendary. Sacrificed some flare for more dust reserves to help catch up on card collection over time.
I was more referring to the part where it tracks cards collected over lifetime
So in other words you don’t have a full collection and you keep DE’ing these two and opening them again. I get you. But prior to this change you really should have kept them to avoid re-opening. If you currently don’t have them when the change happened, it’s likely you aren’t marked as having opened them either. So you’ll probably get them one more time before you can DE and still be safe to avoid them
The Druid player needs to save Cho and Millhouse for a big turn later in the game when the Mage has a lot of big damage spells. And then using the Moonkin with +2 spell damage to both players to increase the damage dealt.
I never really had problems with Mechazod brawls before, but this one is a bit tougher. I think they previously had a lot of healing in the decks but with no Priest in this one that isn't the case. So try to exploit the Mage damage spells as noted above, despite the fact that you can't talk to your co-op partner.
I think this already got nerfed to “your attacks” which I assume are your hero’s attacks. That or they changed the wording. Or Kibler had an old picture in his set review? We’ll see.

Insane if the outcast effect goes off. Especially if it pulls some of the big demons in the DH set. Or the big "gain 8 attack this turn" spell.
Really like the effect, however, will be interesting to see how effective this actually is.
The fact that this happens end of turn and not at the start of your turn guarantees it happens at least once, which is well worth it.

Could be a bug and not consider them.

You can usually still prepurchase right up to the release going live, but the official messaging is always the through the day prior to launch.
