Sometimes I have to hit the button a few times, on both this site and others. Not sure if it doesn't copy correctly, or if it's something like I copy when HS isn't open, and then opening the program somehow it doesn't recognize the code? Doesn't really make sense, but if I don't copy and immediately go to create a new deck it happens occasionally.
Another trick is to open a new deck, copy the code, then click back into HS and it should copy over. I just copied this one.
Wish the hero skin was Mage, Hunter, or Warrior. I already have two alt skins for Shaman. And I’m trying to avoid Shaman as it’s the only class I have my golden hero for. I’m way over the 500 wins for that class and in some I’m only around half way!
With the current Dalaran themed expansion a Mage hero would have been better (like making Khadgar available again...?).
It's because the Echo copies are technically additional cards you get that disappear from your hand when that turn ends. So if you play a discounter like Galvanizer, it discounts the Mechs in your hand. If you then play Snip at 2 mana, the Echo copy is playable at 3 because Galvanizer was not played with that Echo copy in hand. Same would happen if you played a Glowstone Technician that buffs all minions in hand. The Echo copy of a buffed minion would have original stats because the Echo copy was not in hand when the buff was played.
Taverns of Time was nothing more than a fun event centered around Toki. And I don't remember specific cards made for Brawl. I do remember special event cards for Arena. While some of those cards may have been tests for ideas later used in future sets, I think you're reading into it a little too much. I mean the effect from playing Possibility Seeker became Plot Twist, however, the RoS cards would have been in very early development still when the Taverns event happened. See what I mean? Hinting at future cards: maybe not. Using them later as inspiration: definitely.
Also, your Mage example seems a little weak. Mage has almost always been more about tempo and spells. But when your strongest win condition is [Hearthstone Card (Frostlich Jaina) Not Found] you have to find a way to survive until the late game and that's what Big Spell Mage did. That and it paired well with [Hearthstone Card (Dragoncaller Allana) Not Found]. Clear out aggro boards until they run out of steam or until you can play your DK, start making Water Elementals and get to Lifestealing the crap out of your opponent's minions and face.
I will say that I was just thinking yesterday about the Fire Festival we've had for two consecutive years now in Hearthstone. It started last year right after the Taverns event. I guess the free legendary is the extra rewards this time instead of extra gold and free dust. But I do hope we see a double gold event again for the Fire Festival this year! Maybe a special legendary quest or two as well.
The fact that no one is using it should tell you something.
I use Prelate, but not for the actual buffed Prelate. Instead I play it for the deathrattle to add it to Da Undatakah along with things like Mechano-Egg or Mechanical Whelp. It was better before the nerfs as it could ramp up and beat Warriors with one minion that would die and spawn an army of 8/8 dino mechs after playing it a few times, while also going back into my deck so you could refill again later. The buffed Prelate was bonus!
With the rise of other decks and a little less Warrior lately it is a little slow in the meta. But still a ton of fun!
Wow i don't know we can play co-op in Hearthstone.. Wish we have more like this, really like this brawl...!!!
There were a couple other co-op brawls but they all follow a similar pattern. We've battled Mechazod together a few times, and a few New Year's brawls were co-op as well. Again, similar styles between those and this one. Just different bosses and different effects from the bosses, different cards in our decks to combat the boss, etc
so it works with a friend and i get the pack? didnt know that, thanks
You can always get the free pack from playing Brawl against friends and winning. Not just with this one. In fact if you had two accounts and devices you could play this co-op brawl in solo mode
The only thing in this post that I'd agree with is that preventing new runs from starting 6-8 hours prior to a rotation is excessive. Maybe 1-2 hours prior is enough.
To look at both sides though, what if someone is playing an Arena run right up to rotation and they are on pace for their first ever 12-0 finish? Then before they can get there the rotation happens, their run expires and they are forced to start over before hitting that 12-0? That wouldn't feel very good either.
So what this discussion boils down to is there is no clear cut way to make everyone happy. The way things are now don't seem to bother too many people as this is literally the first time I've ever heard a complaint about it, and as we know from the Internet people with complaints are typically very vocal about them. Therefore, if it were upsetting a lot of people, the Arena lockouts would have as many forum posts about them as Big Priest does.
I only have bad behaviors towards those who behave badly towards me
If you rope me every turn, I will do it back. I am not a serious player trying to grind legend every month and typically play while also watching a movie or show. So I can take as much time as you want to waste in a single game.
If someone spams things like "Well Played" on turn 2 or something similar I will usually not emote back, maybe even squelch. But if I end up winning that game I will spam emotes right back to them right before I make the winning play.
As for netdecking, which many people are mentioning here, I don't mind it at all. I sometimes build my own decks from scratch, other times I pull an existing list and try to adjust it to the desired win condition/combo. And sometimes I just pull a list straight off of community page like this one. A lot of people who play this game don't have the recognition of potential synergies needed to be a great deck builder, which is fine! Even if you are playing a deck you didn't build you still need to know how to pilot it well to be successful (unless you're playing a high-rolling deck like Big Priest).
I occasionally play Big Priest in Wild because sometimes I just want to farm gold! But I have typically played my own version which is less high roll, and more about the memes with win condition of 2 to 4 Ragnaros the Firelord and a Drakkari Enchanter to just watch a second Cataclysm rain down on my opponent's board and face! I typically pull it off with 2 or 3, but in one glorious instance I had 4 Rags and the Enchanter for a huge eight random 8 damage blasts! Built this deck around the last Fire Festival (the one Ragnaros had, not the con artist music festival a few years ago).
I guess I main Shaman as it’s my only gold portrait so far, but tend to play all classes. Depends on what I feel like playing. And lately in Standard that’s been Druid and Hunter with some Mage or Warrior sprinkled in.
Agreed. Per what we've seen with previous issues during a launch or patch release, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone got a couple free packs out of this.
I was thinking about doing that earlier, but I decided to try a Glinda+Mechwarper combo instead. Also watching Kripp do something similar right now and I swear I always seem to forget that Summoning Portal is a thing in Warlock and makes the combo happen so much sooner than with Glinda if you can stick a mech.

All I have to say is... what in the hell is a “HearthPwn”??? Never heard of that (dead to me) site!
Thanks for the tip! Emerald Goggles, Shielded Minibot with (+2) mana and +4/+4 which always starts in hand, Banana Split, and infinite Sound the Bells!.
How was your Turn 1?!?! LOL

I love that all three of the Warlock hero powers are “Take 2 Damage” and do something else. Talk about on theme!!!

I would think we get three free, per standard set with past launch/patch issues.
But I’m down for 23 instead! Or 2300 gold to choose our freebies! LOL

A company Blizzard’s size should have three things: “Unity. Precision. Perfection.” ~ Zilliax.
Agreed. Per what we've seen with previous issues during a launch or patch release, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone got a couple free packs out of this.
This is more a question for Blizzard. My guess is it's related to the Arena issues they are experiencing since they'd likely make that a priority.
Also, there's this: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/1695-mech-token-druid

Just a quick check on HS Replay, some mech centered Token Druid decks already exist. Found this list: https://hsreplay.net/decks/xNL6kaleNR4ANeflkANE2d/
You could probably swap out something like Flobbidinous Floop for SN1P-SN4P.
EDIT: If you are thinking of something in Wild with all the old mechs, this list could be a good jumping off point as well.
I'm just upset that I forgot to start an arena run yesterday to get rewards AND a free ticket due to my unfinished run expiring... DAMMIT!!!
