I knew the Nourish one, but it's still kind of unrealistic to hold onto Nourish in Quest Druid just for this specific combo.
Maybe there's some way to build a Quest Druid deck with Forest's Aid and Force of Nature that also plays Goru and then tries to build a big board to buff with Cenarius (in which case Ysiel could help setting those turns up)
Basically my issue is that outside of Nourish there is no other spell that combos well with this meaning you rely on one specific card for Ysiel to be of any use (outside of her being a 5/5 to go alongside your Starfall/Hidden Oasis when you don't have anything else to play)
Sure, whatever, I guess they're going to reprint [Hearthstone Card (Molten Reflections) Not Found] for as many classes as possible. I don't really see which deck would actually use this outside of it being a better Faceless for combos, other than that I see no real point.
Potentially there are some interesting combos with Imprisoned Satyr (especially because you can eliminate the possibility of accidentally hitting Faceless with it) but even then, it's just going to be the same nonsense we've had time and time again: draw entire deck, discount Malygos, melt face. Couldn't they at least print a different OTk for once? Gonk could have worked, but he'S gone now.
It doesn'T really fit into any current archetypes....at least not easily.
Quest Druid could use it with Nourish to get 3 cards and be left with 2-mana to cast 2 more spells, but in order to even get there you probably used your first Nourish already, and even then the spells you actually get to play are at best HIdden Oasis and Starfall, which are, at best, situational.
MAybe we'll get some more big spells, but even then...Quest Druid already has enough lategame bombs, what they'd really need is better early game tools, which of course they won'T receive because then they'D have no weaknesses otherwise.
Seriously did they actually think this through? We already have Durid tearing up Wild with Kael'thas and now they get even more ways to cheat big spells.
Don't know what to do with this in Standard though
It seems a little overpriced. By turn 5 you won'T really get much use out of a Volcanic Potion. I also have yet to see an actual win condition for Spell Shaman and this basically rules out a minion based approach.
Well shit, here's the Porcupine support...also very generally a great card. Hunter loves removal, it has synergy with Diving Griffin and there'S plenty of great Deathrattle minions to use this one.
The artwork seems kind off...weird though. Doesn't really scream Hearthstone...or Outland for that matter
Well, I don't really thinkk he was ever meant to work as a tempo play anyways. I see him more as a 2-card Lord Godfrey with a bigger body.
You want to combo it to instantly wipe a board and have something left to pressure your opponent. You're not exactly trying to rush this thing out on turn 4....at least that'S how I see it
Makes the "nerfed" Power :Word Shield a lot stronger.
Also it shouuld be noted that this presumably works on enemies as well as any single target removal will proc this, meaning that you average control Priest deck will run more than enough spells to activate this at least 2-3 times.
We haven'T even seen most of t he Priest set so there could be even better spells still left.
that sounds pretty nuts. It's basically a 4-mana Deathwing that only requires you to kill 3 1/3s.
Warlock loves this with Hellfire
Demon Hunter has Blade Dance multiple ways to proc this fast (especially with the weapon that allows multi attack).
Shaman can combo this with the Lurker from Below.
Probably one of the better Dormant minions.
Does have the downside of your opponent also being able to control when it goes off meaning you can't just plop this and just build your board, because then it will backfire horribly.
Still probably one of the strongest cards in the set as long as you have a deck that supports it.
Biology isn't Standard anymore.

isn't there always?

Oh yeah, it's great with Albatross too. Albatross Hunter incoming?
"Removal won't work Jon" (but silence will)
the art is great, but it really doesn't fit Hearthstone....it's too realistic

Eh, not really impressed by a symmetrical effect. Not sure where Spell Shaman is supposed to be going, but it sure as hell won'T be tempo.
OUtside of the obvious Porcupine Support this also works with Sea Serpent Egg and ofc the new Neutral Legendary that resummons destroyed minions.
Also pretty decent wiht Zixor if you want to play the lategame.
Even if you don't have a DR minion available it'S still decent as just removal.

I really like this and I want this to work.
My only concern is that without any draw (at least currently) Priest will have a hard time actually getting to their good cards.
actually a solid card. Reminds me a lot of Lyra

"won't have an impact the turn he wakes up"
y'know, except wiping the board
presumably not

Honestly, if you want to RNG for Facedamage/instant removal that much, just roll for Huffer. At least that one doesn'T need 2 turns to get going.
yeah no, this is way too unreliable on top of having the absurdly slow Dormant mechanic
