Looks good enough. Reminds me a bit of Warrior Invokers. Being able to attack is good tempo and drawing a card is also nice and as we've seen so far, attacking with face seems to be a thing Demon Hunters want to do a lot.
Guess they didn't want to give that kind of support to Druid during RR...
HS has been known to cut corners in that department. I wouldn't be surprised if they just pulled a Whizbang for the time being, where building a deck with a specific card (i. e.: Illidan) will open up a Demon Hunter tab.
Holy Nova is completely fine at 4-mana. It's literally a consecration that also helps keeping your minions alive....and Consecration is ran in almost any Paladin deck that isn't built on a single gimmick. Spell damage is also a thing.
Your point on Thief priest makes no sense. With enough thief cards you are more likely to get better stuff since what is in your opponent's deck will usually synergize with itself, whereas Rogue burglary can give you completely useless cards and no way to ever play them. (you're more likelky to get Totemic Might as Rogue than Priest)
They also just got 2 solid 1-drops. If anything their early game has improved significantly. NOrthshire was a huge crutch for years and now that the OTK shit is out of the way we might get some other useful draw cards (and if not we can just spam Auctioneer, Priest now has better 0-mana cards than Rogue)
Also, not to be a dick, but 1300+ wins on Priest isn't really that impressive these days unless you only started playing a year ago.
i mean, with that argument you could easily design a "Decoy" card that's just a crudely constructed scarecrow of sorts that diverts attention. Rogue has gotten less fitting cards in the past
At some point will get an entire expansion of taunts just to make up for it...and then another one for healing. By that time we'll probably also have infinite deck slots and tournament mode.
Classic: Inner Fire, [Hearthstone Card (Mind Games) Not Found] (because it's utterly useless), and either Mass Dispel (because it's kind of unfair, but without Divine Spirit, who really knows) or Shadowform (no real reason, but it doesn't really seem to fit the direction they're going with)
IN any case it looks like they're going to cut actual draw from Priest in favour of Random Generation....let's see how that pans out. Either way we get yet another 0-cost spell for Auctioneer shenanigans
Like sure, a 4-mana Nether sounds crazy....except cheap boardclears should usually matter early game...which this doesn't. It's a dead card against most aggro or zoo decks because they rarely play anything above 4-attack outside of the rare sea giant or Edwin....at which point it's just an overpriced SW:D
Where it shines is in the late to mid game where it acts as a cheap removal that allows you to either build a board afterwards, or keep your own if it's small enough.
I'M also pretty sure they have some sort of plan for Demon Hunters that makes them not totally useless. If you really break it down, only a small fraction of class cards is actually useful overall...if they just don't print obvious garbage for Demon Hunter they'll be just as viable as any other class...only seemingly less diverse.
yeah, let'S nerf Black Spear, one of the few means of actually killing an early game threat before it spirals out of control, but keep 99% of early game threats completely intact.
I don't even care about Hecarim or Rekindler, at least those actuallyl pretend to play the game instead of dropping an unkillable unit on turn 2 and I just have to go "didn't topdeck my answer, time to surrender lol"
but it's not though. YOu can#t reace elusives because they are free to value trade into your stuff while you can't do the same. If Elusives couldn't block as a default they wouldn't nearly be as much of a problem, but right now the only way to beat them is hard aggro or super control. Midrange decks just get stomped because they just don't have a counter...and we're talking about a game where unit combat and clever trading is the main focus.
I'm sorry, but I'm still not over LoL and how that game was in a constant state of things being broken with no real progress being made and I hate to repeat that experience.
alright, no actual nerfs to the elusive crap. I'm out.
While I admire their communication efforts and redesigning of underused cards it's just absurd that they fail to see how Elusives are the least interactive part of the game right now and there's still way too many of them that win the game by themselves if they can't be removed.
I was hoping this game would be spared from Riot's tendency to just ignore obvious problems while working on irrelevant stuff. I guess I was wrong. Time to find something else to pass my time with.

Can anyone explain to me why Wrathspike Brute is a demon?
depends on how DH will be handled.

I didn't actually think it was fake, it just seemed almost comical how it's exactly what people have been speculating for years.

I assume that any of the new Priest cards on there will replace one of the existing Basic/Classic cards.
Excluding Velen, which was already confirmed through the post and Natalie that makes 5 cards (2 Basic, 3 Classic), which I assume will be:
Basic: Divine Spirit, Northshire Cleric
Classic: Inner Fire, [Hearthstone Card (Mind Games) Not Found] (because it's utterly useless), and either Mass Dispel (because it's kind of unfair, but without Divine Spirit, who really knows) or Shadowform (no real reason, but it doesn't really seem to fit the direction they're going with)

The Priest boardclear is actually somewhat weak.

they most certainly wouldn't retroactively print cards for entire wild sets.
Will probably make DH weaker than other classes since they'll have the least amount of cards at the start of every rotation
This almost sounds like an April Fool's joke...or one of those fake reddit leaks that just tell people what they wish would happen.
Good on them though, revamping Priest was more than necessary.
Also, with a new class coming I DEMAND AT LEAST TWO MORE DECKSLOTS OR CONFUSION WILL GET THE BEST OF ME!

yes because each time an Undying dies it adds another copy to the death pool. They'd all be 2/2s though.
doesn't really fix the issue
If anything we need the "Can't Block" featuree added to more elusive units so they aren't as easily abused with permanent buffs and the like.
Or just do the Navori Bladescout thing and have most of them lose Elusive after one turn.
it's okay to be wrong
there are many chonkers. There is only one Chonkler.
All Hail the Chonkler
because the DNC rigged the primaries and the Russians are interfering.
it's not a typo, that's just what I call him.
