the worst part about it is that if there is a mix of Standard and Wild expansions, even cards that were previously useless and are far too weak for Wild (and were therefore safe to disenchant by any metric) might be needed..

So basically they'D be going back on their word and that will be the point I'll just drop the game alltogether, even if I have more than enough dust to still play it.

this is making me nervous. I am seriously worried that they might pull an "for the year of the Phoenix we'll introduce a new Standard mode with rotating expansions from the past, so if you dusted your old cards, better go buy some more lol"

I can see a case for making Relentless Pursuit a Slow spell, but the mana cost is fine as is.

For Elusives, they should just make it part of the keyword that Elusive units can block (and be blocked by) other Elusives only.

I considered that one too, but it does nerf some cards that are completely fine otherwise for no reason (such as The Empyrean, who is pretty expensive and would be completely pointless if he only ever acted as a mediocre beater, same goes for other stuff like Silverwing Vanguard, etc.) I'd rather keep it limited to the early-game elusives that promote aggressive strategies.

I assume it's overwhelm that does the thing. It's kind of weird because it's not usually a keyword found on spells so the interactions don't seem as straightforward

Yeah, Elusives are still a bit silly, but I do feel they could easily be fixed if they just added the "Can't block" keyword to more of them. Aggressive decks shouldn't have problems against Elusives, but they do since a buffed Elusive unit can just value block an attacker and smash into your face the next turn with nothing you can do.

Specifically Greenglade Duo, Shadow Assassin and Kinkou Lifeblade shouldn't be able to block, especially the last one, since it allows for basically uncounterable recovery.

Also agree on Relentless Pursuit. I'd say 5-mana would be acceptable. Rally is extremely underrated as an effect and most other cards with the same effect come with a huge cost or specific requirement (like Katarina or Garen)

I want an additional feature, where the innkeeper can use decks you made. This makes it easier to practice match-ups while preparing for tournaments and such.

I don't think the piss-poor Hearthstone AI would be able to handle constructed decks anywhere close to how they were intended. I'm not just talking about combo decks, I'm talking about generally average decks. Innkeeper would never be able to properly identify the win condition of a deck he hasn't been programmed for. There's a reason why adventure bosses are programmed for certain scenarios (and why they had to implement a special rule for Doomsayer....a rule that they haven't applied to [Hearthstone Card (Depth Charg) Not Found]e, which makes for some hilarious moments in the adventure)

That seems like an incredibly weird statement.Really depends on what the definition of "fun" is:

-the ability to build multiple working decks

-having a playstyle that's not dependant on any particular support, therefore always being playable

-Yogg levels of RNG because decision making is overrated

also, when isn't it bad news for Priest? They're either hated by everyone or played by noone.

on the flipside, lots of reused characters every expansion (if you don't like Rafaam, he's gonna get o your nerves pretty quickly)

considering that the "Year of the Dragon" wasn't really indicative until the very end I wouldn't hold my breath

In the end Galakrond, the Unspeakable ended up better than Galakrond, the Tempest

    Now how's that for irony

I don'T get triple Glimpse Beyond when you barely even run any tokens that you would want to sacrifice at any point

it wasn't  a mistake, it was a necessity. Charge is not a keyword that should just be granted to any minion.

I could honestly see some Frothing Berserk BS now with Risky Skipper if Warsong was unnerfed.

Dragons are the new Demons I guess....at least in terms of lategame.

Also Cobalt Guardian is still at tier 3 and noone seems to care.

Shouldn't nerf the Shadow Riders. In fact, they should be the main focus of Hecarim, so his base stats should be reduced...or just his mana cost increased.

I think that the 6-mana slot is way too efficient. He should be at 7 or 8-mana. In return they could reduce his upgrade requirement to make pure Ephemeral decks more appealing.

Also yes, Rekindler is absolutely <snip> and needs to either be at least 2-mana higher or have garbage stats

Deathwing brings Beasts back. Rat pack is pretty much insane. You get a free Pack Leader and unless your opponent also runs tokens you never get punished

There is ONE card that benefits from a highlander build and it's Purrsuit of Perfection.

(you can run 3 copies of that..) but why would you ruin your deck for it.. you could also play heimer/karma and be able to fulfill the requirement eventually.

Add in a few cards like Back Alley Barkeep + recall effect and you're not even delayed all that much really - the problem is just the utter lack of consistency :P

I actually pulled it off twice in an Expedition.

Heimer and Flash of Brilliance is practically all you need anyways. Don't forget that Heimer technically generates 9 diffferent cards, which is basically half the requirement already, as long as you have enough spells of different mana costs
