We run all the RR big beast stuff like Stampeding Roar and Oondasta, then we buff a bunch of normally not as impressive beasts (Silverback meta hype) and summon them with those. MAybe even run Sathrovarr to get some additional value.
Aside from that we also have great interactions with Anubisath Sentinel, which will always cost (0), Zilliax is always fun with stat buffs, and just generally any taunt minion with high Heath benefits from this.
It's clunky, but at least Druid has enough draw to give this consistency.
On one hand, the fact that this is a 0-mana spell is already huge, because it means there is no tempo loss the turn you play it.
obviously a double Keleseth is pretty crazy as well (or quadruple if you wanna go full nuts), but the cost increase is....heavy
I wonder if you could run this in a dragon deck with Breath of Dreams to offset the cost increase (and then maybe play Frizz laater on the reduce the cost back to normal?)
The effect is strong, but the downside might not be worth it if you have to play off curve for the rest of the game.
Also, you can now play Oasis Surger without Quest, yay
probably to reduce the overall cost. We have so many good legendaries, having a bunch of really strong epics would drive the cost of the set a bit overboard for a lot of players. I don't have any other explanation
I wonder if they deliberately made the neutral epics "worse" because all the legendaries are so good and they didn't want to make the essentials too expensive.
also, 5/5 for 5 is not well statted. that's the bare minimum. 5/6 or 6/5 is the 5-mana vanilla baseline, and even that's being challenged with stuff like Waxadred
Also I don't need you to change your opinion, because time will prove me right anyways. If you want I can come back in 2 weeks and make fun of how including a vanilla 5/5 did nothing for my deck'S winrate in 6 out of 9 cases.
are you delusional? this is a 5-drop with no synergy that does nothing (or barely anything) against 6 out of 9 classes. Even Skulking Geist wasn't run that often despite JAde Druid being a relevant force in the meta.
Do you still run Harrison Jones in every deck despite there being barely any relevant weapons in the meta?
Also stop trying to pretend to have the moral high ground when you're bitching and moaning that big meanie Blizzard is introducing a necessary tech card that just so happens to also hit your homebrew rank 5 meme build.
what are you on about? That's like saying printing Skulking Geist killed Jade Druid forever.
You can still play Thekal because not everyone will run this.
The only situation in which Platebreaker will be a common tech card is if there is an armor focussed deck that completely dominates the meta and in that case you just don't play Thekal in whatever deck you're thinking of.
It's not even like Thekal is the cornerstone of some Paladin archetype. It's just a neat little tool in paladin decks with lots of heal. If Platebreaker is too common then you just take him out.
He's gonna rotate next expansion anyways, so it's not like you didn't have ample time to use him.
It will see play if there's a control deck with a limited damage finisher (for example Highlander Mage with Dragoncaller, Alex, Pyro and Fireball) if Warrior (or any class that can get a sizeable stack of armor, we have yet to see most of Druid's cards) becomes popular.
This is good because it finally removes the "this control deck could work, but it can't kill Warrior through 30 armor so it's useless" stereotype.
Now it's far more realistic to play something like Dragon Control Paladin with a Holywrath combo tagged on as a finisher (aka only 25 damage, no more, no less)
Hell, even something silly like Malylock is possible again.
Armor is no longer a "just builld it up over the game for an easy win" mechanic, but rather a ressource that you can use to take less damage from weapon trades or use it with care as not to overcommit into PLatebreaker
but...nobody plays Thekal. This is a counter to armor stacking strategies and nothing else. Nobody's gonna run this on the off chance that some lunatic runs Thekal in his Holy Wrath Paladin
Also, armor is the most overpowered mechanic in the game because it has no cap and previously had no counter, so any lategame deck with access to armor generation could jjust very easily grind out opponents with ease.
Not to mention it's also a way to get rid of Infinite Armor Druid in Wild without having to nerf some innocent combo piece
YES! Finally on curve Dendrologist is possible. The game is saved.
Now I have a proposition for you:
Biig Beast Druid....but you make the beasts big.

Congratulations to everyone who can get her now. She's definitely worth it and much better than potato nose Lazul and that soyboy Anduin
This is extremely difficult to evaluate.

i'M too tired to comprehend this, but it looks awesome
Do Bombs count as neutral cards? Because if so this would be a decent tech (if you don't mind nuking the rest of your neutrals as well)

Yet another meme epic.
I wonder if they deliberately made the neutral epics "worse" because all the legendaries are so good and they didn't want to make the essentials too expensive.
so did I. I was just asking what exactly you found disappointing about the card.
well, just armoring your opponent into submission isn't exactly valuable gameplay either.
because you enjoy decks that win just by having more health than the opponent has damage?
ResidentSleeper Warrior actually having to think about a strategy instead of just vomiting removal and ramor...I hope they'll cope with it.
Acidic Swamp Ooze, Bad Luck Albatross, Gluttonous Ooze, [Hearthstone Card (Dragon Slayer) Not Found], Golakka Crawler

giveaway ends at December 7th, meaning you have more than enough time too think of your 2 cents on every revealed card.

Nah.
It just means that Weapons will get better because Warrior is better off using armor as a ressource instead of a shield.
Not to mention noone's going to play this unless Control WArrior is top tier.

I like Kripp, I really do.
But you have an expansion called Descent of Dragons and you're not calling Kibler?
