Dumb card. it's either unplayable and useless or completely busted tech card. Bad design.
It isn't going to kill warrior, the only way you would play this is if it was like RoS and warrior was one of the only tier 1 decks, and even then...
what kind of deck uses this? this isn't going to stop warrior from stabilizing against aggro/midrange. its a 5 mana 5/5. Most classes could do more damage with a good card in their deck instead. If the warrior is stacking that much armor they've usually already won, unless you're a deck that can go long enough for you to win anyway like quest shaman.
that'S the point though. It's supposed to jump in when there's a class that just abuses armor stacking. If control warrior is all you run into and they just armor up in your face you tech this in and catch them off guard.
I've had many games where I got a warrior (or Druid) down to single digits and they just went back up to 25, in which case this would have been an instant win.
It's the same as Eater of Secrets. You don't play it because it's good on average, you play it if you want a specific deck to die.
at the same time they would have to spend an extra turn to do so, so it evens out (you can just hold on to some of your armor generation to bulk up afterwards)
Ah yes, that classic Deathrattle Priest that randomly gets support once in a blue moon. I remember when Chillmaw was occasionally run, but at least that thing had taunt.
Even if you put Reborn or Shadowy Figure into the mix it'S still a pretty slow and unreliable "boardclear"
At best I'd run this in some weird Deathrattle/tempo build where the focus isn't so much board clear but board denial (noone's gonna go wide while this is in play.
Still, at this point Priest has enough decent Deathrattle minions, but no real gameplan. What do I do with all these guys? There's no N'zoth, no Amara and no actual win condition.
They want you to resummon them.
I guess they wanted resurrect priest in the meta.
even then, what's the point. Like great, your opponent won't be able to build a board, but how do you win against any deck that isn't bothered by Hellfire spam?
Rez Priest just doesn't work without a N'zoth like effet (and it shouldn't because the deck is boring and binary)
I'd like to mention Carrion Drake which is a pretty T H I C C midrange dragon that opponent's can't value trade into (assuming it activated).
I think they were going for an alternative to Eaglehorn, which is basically the same: a 3/2 weapon that occasionally gets extra charges and allows you to trade/pressure, but if it doesn't you're not depressed about it.
This is better than Eaglehorn, because you can at least control when to get the bonus off (play this on 3 and swing, play a dragon on 4 and swing again and already you have gotten value out of it. If you break it on swing 3, so be it, if not, then hey, even more value)
Weapons should never be underestimated, especially when we're talking about a class that does very well at applying face damage over time.
Underwhelming. the wording suggests that it doesn't keep buffs (obviously, since it summons on deathrattle) so what's even the point?
Putting Reborn on it or kill-reviving it does nothing so it's basically a 3-mana Faceless that you need to kill to get a benefit...oh and ofc you need to kill the opponent's minion as well.
The fact that it's enemy only is just the nail in the coffin. You're gonna have to jump through hoops just to make this decent. LIke, what am I going to use this for against Quest Shaman? Copy that spicy Lifedrinker?
sorry, but what would Geist do to stop a turn 4 Evolve?
And moreover, what decks are you playing that consistently get beaten by N'zoth Rogue?
Millhouse. He starts at 10 Gold, but every time he loses he Pyroblasts himself in the face
N'zoth wasn't such a bad idea, because at least that guy's neutral.
finally, a few days of peace.
I guess Combo Priest will be back in full force though...
Warlock also has some pretty decent 1-cost cards (except from Soularium I guess)
attempt number 3 to get Warrior to use lackeys
meanwhile Priest is still stuck with only one lackey generator
fun in arena and also a dragon.
Maybe there's some funky dragon and/or Spell/auctioneer deck that needs some extra generation. 5-mana 3/5 that generates 2 cards that are useful.
Decent, but I feel like Dragon Paladin has enough heal already...and still doesn't really have an actual gameplan outside of not dying for a while.
that'S the point though. It's supposed to jump in when there's a class that just abuses armor stacking. If control warrior is all you run into and they just armor up in your face you tech this in and catch them off guard.

Descent of Dragons? More like Descent of tech cards.
Finally armor isn't a strictly better defense mechanism than healing.

except the fact that you only have one in the deck and Priest doesn't play tempo

stop thinking about viability and start thinking in memes
BARRELPRIEST.
There is no gameplan. You just explode. Over. And over.
Pirate Warrior? 90s kids remember the old Control Warrior, or as he was more commonly known "your turn 2-3 don't matter"
if it can go face, it's a hunter's weapon
