nah, thankfully they went with Primordial Drakes,, which is a much cooler theme. Looks to be a neutral, and we'll see her in the next few days if I interpret the reveal images correctly.
Maybe she's the opposite of Kronx where she'll interact with the Hero-specific Sidequests....or she'll just be a really strong independent card
wouldn't overestimate it. Having to wait to use it until after you've played Galakrond, meaning the soonest you'll get it out is at turn 8 and that would usually mean playing Galakrond at a weaker state.
Zephrys can be played at any stage and gives you incredible reach or recovery.
This on the other hand is much easier to play around (except when you're against Rogue where they can just Galakrond into this and fuck your day up)
So this will be either entirely useless or be the next Undertaker. Given that theere won't be any new Magnetic cards, the only deck that actually makes use of this would be Hunter (or aggro mech Paladin).
Maybe it'll see some play as a Mecharoo substitute in Highlander Pally, but other than that it feels unimpressive
also it doesn't look very impressive. What mechs even are there in Standard that would benefit from this? We already had Copertail for Stealthed Magnetic shenanigans...this costs 2-mana more and only makes sense if you have a mech on board that even needs this.
At best this would see play in an aggro mech deck....but all of those already succeed at abusing magnetic anyways
this is amazing in Quest Hunter. I'm running Toxmonger (because fuck crafting Flark for just one more expansion) and it has bailed me out on multiple occasions. This is basically that but so much better.
With Desert Spear you can basically guarantee 2 kills if you just were to drop this on 6....and the late the game goes the better of a comeback mechanism you have. Two card 9-mana combo to clear the enemy board is pretty solid. Not to mention you'll generate a bunch of rushers with Halazzi and Springpaw.
I remember when powerful battlecries came with a stat penalty. I guess vanilla statted board wipes are ok if they require a combo.
Could even run it in highlander. With Spear, Springpaw, Unleash and Explosive Trap you should have enough activators for it to be viable.
Welp, this is pretty nuts. A Galakrond tutor alone is already strong, especially for something like Rogue or Warrior where you want to play him on curve if possible.
but damn, that secondary effect. Now I'm worried Galakrond decks will turn out a bit too strong....but maybe I'm underestimating how much you'll have to commit to the invokers.
Like sure, it's definitely going to be used in Dragon paladin (however that deck is going to turn out eventually), but it's not like Paladin desperately needs heals.
I'd rather get some rush or taunt dragons to be used with Dragonspeaker and the other legendary. I guess this means we're really doubling down on the whole "handbuff big bois and survive until you can play them" strategy, which makes Sand Breath so much more confusing.
Guess this is anti rez tech for Wild? I don'T see this being used in standard in any capacity
yay, a free random 1-drop for 7-mana
It's kinda like a Secretkeeper, except it only really scales with Magnetize
First card you can search by typing "anus"
that is all
I don't think Quest Shaman can abuse a Battlecry that comes out after you've transformed into a hero with a different hero power.
Unless you plan on not completing your quest until you played galakrond just for a one time double Devastation.
Also Shark Rogue is garbage anyways
he just makes me think of that "when your custom character is in a cutscene" meme
random as with Kalimos
Pull the lever Kronx

look guys, it's the MECHWARPER NERF

Paladin: We Druid now
Hunter: We Paladin now

Chad, my dude, you seem like a cool guy, but that hairdo isn't doing you any favours
this isn't 4chan you bottomfeeder
there is always an aggro deck
it's a bit...boring?

because Control Paladin has always been such a great archetype
it's Healbot...but bigger
