Toki has tinkered with the Hearthstone shop to bring us a great deal for players of the Wild format. 56 card packs, 1 great price.
- The bundle is only available on the Battle.net Web Shop. It costs $35 USD.
- You have about two weeks to purchase the bundle, it is available through July 1, 2019.
- The 56 packs are divided evenly among the 7 wild Hearthstone expansions - 8 packs per expansion.
- You may purchase the bundle once per account. It may be gifted.
If you're a standard player and want some dust, this isn't the worst deal we've ever seen. The value increases quite a bit if you've opened a bunch of these packs previously since you could hit your pity timer. If only this was 10 packs from each expansion, all players who never opened some of these packs would be getting a wild legendary per set to disenchant.
Wild Expansions 2019
These are the expansions you'll be getting card packs from.
- Goblins vs Gnomes
- The Grand Tournament
- Whispers of the Old Gods
- Mean Streets of Gadgetzan
- Journey to Un'Goro
- Knights of the Frozen Throne
- Kobolds & Catacombs
Are you picking up the bundle? Tell us why or why not in the comments below.
Personally, I'll be picking the bundle up and leaving the packs in my collection for a while since they all look so awesome. I'll unpack them as soon as I desire dust.

If they are lucky, or rather if they are not too unlucky. Since this gives you 8 packs and starting pity timer for unopened sets of packs is 10, you could very well whiff on those 2 packs multiple times. But yeah, should be decent value for newcomers.
Mmmm mmmm, those sweet TGT packs...
I bought it hoping to get any good old legendary and for the dust.
Bad luck brian. I only got 1 legendary and a total of 2400 dust. The dust is good.
I enjoy when they offer the bundles like this. It helps complete my collection, and even if I'm not able to get missing cards at least it's a nice amount of dust to send me in the right direction. Also it's just nice to back stock dust for future expansions anyway. 6 epics and 29 legendaries till completion. :)
Yep I am about the same as others. 4 (or 5 I forget) legendaries one of which was gold and a ton of epics and other cards I never had before. This is even though I have been playing since Goblins vs. Gnomes was out and have a large collection anyway.
Out of those 56 packs , I got 4 legendaries ( 1 of which was golden ) , 50+ new cards and 2,900+ dust no complaints.
I'm buying it because I'm in my 30s with disposable income. I've also been playing since GvG, and so I might hit a few legendaries that I never got back in the day, but wouldn't bother crafting since I rarely play wild. Either way it's fun opening 56 packs, and will put me on track for a ton of dust for the next expansion.
They couldn't do this the other day when I had all my Father's Day loot available, lol?
well pity timer or not... got 4 legendaries, 2 of which were golden... pretty lucky
Got 3 legendaries, 3-4 epics I didn't have, & at least one rare I didn't have. Not too bad for just $35.
I said this on Hearthpwn as well and I'm not sure if anyone agrees but I feel like if they're going to try and promote wild and encourage people to spend on wild they need to also have a more vested interest in its balance. They seem to be extremely hesitant to address any problem cards even though there are several. The only reason it seems like only Big Priest is an issue is because most other decks have been overshadowed. Things like Voidcaller and Jade Idol are likely to just crop up the moment they deal with Big Priest.
I won't be buying it for two reasons.
1.) I don't play Wild and the dust alone isn't a good enough reason for me to pay money for wild packs.
2.) I am broke anyway.
Even for the dust is a great deal.
For me, that I am missing some cards from the wild sets is a HUGE deal.
My heart weeps at the idea that some people will buy the bundle simply for the Standard dust. You could use this opportunity to start playing Wild!
Great bundle for those getting into wild. For people playing for a while may not be worth it. Normally by the time an expansion cycles out of standard I'm pretty happy with my cards from it. Even the ones I would want would be so specific I wouldn't expect to snag them.
I think it would be great if they could award a wild pack or 2 as part of ladder (including standard) rewards.
Wouldn't seem to cost them much (bit of potential dust maybe) and get newer players into wild.
Like Flux won't hold my breath.
I don't think I am close to any pity timers except wotog maybe, will still buy it
Even this wouldn't be enough cards to make wild a thing for me. I didn't start playing till just after K&C so I missed far too many expansions. I shudder to think how much a wild set would cost. I have my Dragon Combo Priest in Wild and that's it for me.
Actually, wild is much cheaper long term! While you have to craft a lot of cards from recent expansions in order to succeed in standart, wild uses the same cards, and just a few new ones. I found myself spending much, much less dust once transfering to wild.
It's partly a false problem.
A Wild deck is eternal. At most you might want to build or update new and stronger decks, from time to time (long time), for which you already own the most part anyway.
A Standard one is bound to become obsolete through Rotations, no matter what. Even if an archetype is reiterated, it's completely reworked with new cards.
On the long run, Standard is much more expensive than Wild, even including dusted Wild cards.
Also, current Wild top tier decks cost around 6k dust, which is identical to an average Standard deck like Bomb Hunter, so even accessibility is much easier than one thinks.
